The Target in Palatine, IL has great finds for 4G iPod cases... genuine leather for $3.49. Located in the fartherst corner of the store (next the pharmacy).

How do millions of people use it if it's not legal? I pay $30 a year to use it ad free. I thought it was only illegal if you burn and sell cd's?? I'll have to check this out on the net!!
No, it isn't legal. If the RIAA wanted to take action against you they could... (Although the chances of that happening are really slim...)

Hello. I'm looking for deals on my contact lenses. I currently use 1800Contacts, and I'm quite happy with the service. I also know that's a reputable company.
Anyway, I see new stores popping up (like lens.com and the like). Has anyone ever ordered from alternative companies? Obviously I'm concerned with getting authentic (and non-expired!) products.

I always buy mall gift certificates as Christmas presents for my teenage cousins... My mall charges a $2.50 "protection fee" in case the cards are lost or stolen.
But anyway, yes, $10 dollars is very steep.

Ok so I finally got in touch with someone at viore mind you only after 2 emails and like 10 voice mails. Anyways the tech support guy said they had problems with the VIDEO BOARD in that particular unit PDP4210EA and that they wouldn't be getting parts for it until the end of the month. My husband is going to take ours back to WM and get a refund and shop somewhere else for a plasma of that size. Bummer but on the bright size I'm glad it happened now and not in 3 months time. Thanks to all for your concern. Hopefully the big sales planned for wkend before christmas include a plasma or 2. Wouldn't that be wishful thinking!
I'm sure many plasmas will be on sale in the next few weeks.

I recently purchased an Ipod and returned it to CC and they didn't charge me a thing. The package wasn't open, I picked up the wrong one. Maybe it just depends on your store or manager.
Because it wasn't opened.

I didn't dare wait any longer so I bought one at Target that came with 2 free child movie tickets (we are going to Narnia so we can use the $12 off and think of it as a 'deal'...lol)

These have VERY limited numbers. There was a post about this earlier.
And Microsoft has set guidelines for retailers. They cannot withold product once its street date has come. So if they wanted to, Microsoft could be all over WM for breach of contract. Believe me, there are plenty of places that would kill for those Xboxes.
Where did you hear this? Wal-Mart sets market guidelines, not the other way around!

EB games also is getting more before CHristmas, but they are for pre-orders only. That is baaaaaaaaaadddd that WM is holding them for 12/18. Seems like Microsoft would take Legal action if they knew.

I bought a Palm about a while ago... I used it for about a month and then just stopped. I love technology... I carry my iPod, laptop, PSP, everywhere but I just could not fit a Palm in my daily routine...

Skipped cheap and went straight to Dell.com Great notenooks with the stuff I want and not the stuff they insist I buy. I spent a little more but I feel like I got a LOT MORE. (I bought 2, a great one for me and a good one for hubby) hehe

I was hoping someone could help me. I bought the Sandisk Cruzer Micro USB flash drive (the 512 MB drive) for $14.99 at Circuit City after rebates (came with 2 rebates...one for $10 and one for $15).

Well dummy me threw out the packaging for the flash drive!
I have the receipt and the 2 forms that the store printed for me, and i was going to send them out anyways, but people have told me they won't give me the rebate without the code (which i think is DUMB, cuz i have the stupid receipt PLUS the exact forms CC gave me!!!
)IF ANYONE PURCHASED THIS MODEL, and STILL HAS THE PACKAGING IS IT POSSIBLE TO SCAN AN IMAGE/COPY OF THE UPC CODE SO I CAN GET MY REBATES?? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

I would suggest to always call the repair department before making a purchase. They can tell you which brands the always see coming in, and which brands never need repair. Working at Sears, I'm sure you got a great view of how great or not so great brands were.
I sure did. And I know exactly which brands were always brought back because the customer wasn't happy with the quality. You also have to realize that stores have access to the best possible broadcast feeds... Pure HD... with better equipment then is available to the average consumer. Hence the television picture will always look better in the store.

Well even the cheapest plasmas (and I mean cheap both in terms of price and quality) would yield similar results. I used to sell electronics in Sears... No one can tell me that anything other than a Hitachi, Panasonic, or Sharp is worth purchasing. If you stare at all brands side-by-side (which I had the opportunity to do for 8 hours a day), you will see the immense differences between those three brands and everything else.
And I'm sorry this happened to you. In my opinion they should replace it with something similar.

Hey, I used to sell electronics at Sears and I always tried desperately to prevent a customer from walking out of my doors with a Kodak! No offense to anyone.
And I don't mean to start an avalanche of "I like my Kodak" posts. To each his own.
