  1. White DSi at Target $129 until tomorrow.
  2. I've used Chicago Public Transit to go Black Friday shopping before. However, I don't normally do door busters... I usually buy computer hardware and video games which aren't heavy, so a large backpack is usually more than adequate. I have purchased laptops before and had to take them home on the subway... I concealed them using old paper bags from Whole Foods/Trader Joe's so I wasn't standing on a platform with a pack that screamed "BRAND NEW LAPTOP from Best Buy!"
  3. I think it's very possible. I mean, why not? We've already seen them at $149.99 in the past... I think $99.99 would make a great door-buster.
  4. Was it a little booklet? If so, you get those in the mail if you have a Target CC.
  5. Probably staying home this Black Friday... Might just shop online and put the money I saved until a savings account! I don't have children so shopping for presents is not a priority... Just getting something for my niece and nephew.
  6. I really hope this wasn't self-promotion.... First of all, this is a UK site. Second of all, there are no Buckle codes posted!
  7. I'm a librarian. We're always closed on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Yay for me!
  8. I've been using Virgin Mobile for 5 years now... I refuse to sign a contract with any carrier, even if that means paying a little premium for my minutes. VM has a lot of plans for both calls and texting... I suggest you check it out. Also, like someone mentioned above, they have a great plan that allows you to receive free minutes just by watching a few ads on their website.
  9. For the past two years I have been able to walk into my local Target at around 11 am and still get all the things on my list. I'm in a big market, though, so it varies store to store.
  10. I consider myself very lucky... I don't work on Fridays. :)
  11. Wow, thanks a bunch... I needed this like no one's business! I need to buy ridiculous amounts of books for next semester... I am forever grateful. :)
  12. The system came out in June and has been an unbelievably brisk seller, so no, Nintendo will not lower the price this holiday season. Keep in mind that the system does not come bundled with games, and the average price of each title is about ~$34.99, you may, however, find some nice deals on games this Black Friday.
  13. CREDIT CARDS, thank you! It's safer than cash, offers cash-back or rewards, and allows me to take a 25 day interest-free loan at the expense of the credit card company (har, har). Use a credit card, pay in full, get cash-back on purchases. Credit is not evil, it is your friend... if you use it wisely!
  14. I vehemently oppose any form of "door-busting" sales so I would support Wal-Mart's decision.
  15. The Wal-Mart video is sickening. Exactly why I loathe door-buster deals.
  16. I think it's a good idea. I wish more stores had exclusive online deals around BF. It's a nice break from standing in line.
  17. I see people debating between cash and credit. I say credit ALWAYS beats cash (if you pay in full). The last time I checked, you can't get rewards points (cashback, gift cards, etc) for writing a check. I surely don't intend to pay interest on my Black Friday purchases, but I will gladly accept cash back from Discover, Citi, etc :).
  18. As a former disgruntled employee of Sears, all I can do is laugh :). Please exploit this deal for all it's worth :)
  19. Not legal in some counties of Illinois as well, boo! I would love one of those, though :). Good price.
  20. This particular coupon was hosted @ Borders.com, so you can be sure it was real.
