  1. I can never seem to talk myself out of the "Bleeding Edge" The nice thing about the Garmins is their ability to now now import your own POI from CSV files. Very cool. I've read about sites that you can actually download that days speed traps, construction etc, and push them to your GPS. No idea how well that works, but it sounds great.
  2. This is also on my short list of GPS for myself. I like this one, the Magellan 800, and the Garmin Nuvi. Decisions Decisions... :)
  3. Excellent... Which firmware are you going to run?
  4. They aren't going "back" to it. They just kept making it under a different designation and charge more money for it. It isn't often that you can get a deal on them. I looked for weeks and couldn't find them on sale anyplace. And you won't find the GL version in B&M stores for the most part either.
  5. Well there you go then.... :)
  6. That will depend on what resolution you take your pictures at. If you use the entire 5.0 megapixel resolution (2592x1944) at high quality, each picture will be approximately 1.4MB in size and you should be able to fit over 300 images on a 512MB card. Of course, actual image size may vary depending on the compression of the photos. That is only an estimate.
  7. Great deal on this router. the "GL" is still the Linux version of this router. That means that it is completely flashable with 3rd party firmware for tons of features. If you are a power user looking for a new router, this is the one to get.
  8. If it is for work, I would go with a Latitude as well. They have good build quality and support.
  9. My BIL is building his own out of an old laptop. It should be interesting. Still more expensive than these smaller ones though.
  10. Is that SD or mini SD?
  11. You can get it new through Amazon. Cheapest price is $29.99 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000028R1/qid=1147875507/sr=1-16/ref=sr_1_16/104-1713365-2094319?s=music&v=glance&n=5174 Used is as low as $1.99
  12. Do you have a specific price range you want to be in? Grills run from $50-$1000 or more. I definately wouldn't go for the cheapest, but you can get something decent in the $100-$150 range.
  13. Yeah, they are really coming down in price right now. You can actually go up to 2GB for only around $70 shipped.
  14. As a rule, memory is always cheaper to buy online rather than B&M. And you don't have to deal with any rebates or anything to get the better price.
  15. Interesting, You are correct. The option to subscribe to the thread is still there once you have subscribed to it. I would think that it would change to "Unsubscribe" if you were already subscribed. Perhaps Brad can do something to fix it. Another option... there "should" be an unsubscribe link in the email that you get. It has been so long since I've gotten one, I don't remember. :)
  16. It seems that the forward from GD is throwing up an error at NewEgg Here is a link to the cheapest: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820183011 I would maybe consider upgrading to the Kingston one. It seems to be a little more higly rated, and comes with a SD adapter if you don't already have one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820134021
  17. Hmmm... it seems that the forwarding from GottaDeal throws an error at NewEgg. Here is a direct link to the cheapest higly rated one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820211309
  18. you might as well go with 1GB with the current prices. You can get them for around $29 shipped: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2010170068+1053114916+105331373&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=68
  19. They start at about $25 shipped at NewEgg.com Here is a search that shows many options: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2010170068+1053107930+105331373&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=68 The first two seem to be highly rated.
  20. This is on my short lists of GPS systems to get. I've read nothing but good things about TomTom. Plus, their commercials are funny. Geeks.com is a great vendor too... never had a problem with them.
  21. I don't know if it is any cheaper, but it is easier IMHO. I think that laser will be more expensive up front, but the cost per page will be cheaper in the long run. The fact that it will double as a good laser printer and scanner for the computer would be the seller for me.
  22. If I could be sure I would get a version 4, I would be all over this. Still a good deal on this great router.
  23. Well, there sure are a ton of them there: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&from=R10&satitle=dooney+and+burke&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&bs=Search&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=&a22750=-24&a47=-24&a56=-24&a14=-24&a94=-24&gcs=1098&pfid=1271&reqtype=1&pfmode=1&alist=a22750%2Ca47%2Ca56%2Ca14%2Ca94%2Ca3801&pf_query=dooney+and+burke&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=ZIP%2FPostal&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi= I have no idea how "authentic" they are, but I would say that yes, there is a chance. You just need to know the product that you are looking for.
