Well the obvious answer is the infamous and ever-popular Kohl’s throws! . I also buy Blu-ray/DVD movies.

Happy October everyone! What a glorious weekend I had visiting with long time friends in Missouri. Visited the Gateway Arch, Grafton Illinois and an apple orchard and got some much needed natural Vitamin D. Bought some fresh picked apples and fresh made cider so it’s officially fall even though it’s still a little too warm for me. Can’t wait for shopping season to kick in even though I’m unemployed at the moment.

I love going to that Christmas store!!!!!

The last time I ventured into one of my 2 Walmart stores I couldn’t believe the amount of toys on clearance.

Now this makes me happy! Yay!

oh Yay!!! Job upheaval are no fun so I’m so looking forward to getting this shopping season started!

Happy dog days of August……more heat and humidity my way. We got very little rain out of this last system that moved through while some parts of the state got over 3 inches. It’s like there was dome over my city. More lawn watering in my future I’m afraid. <sigh>

Well, I didn’t win the Mega Millions……not even my $20 back, so guess I have to go back to work Monday……

As if Covid wasn’t enough…….now I have bronchitis…….so far I’m not feeling too bad with it but lord let me tell you…..I AM SO TIRED OF THIS AWFUL HEAT! Going outside in a mask and face shield to swab a patient for Covid in these excessive heat warnings is for the d^^n birds. I need a new job. And thanks for the well wishes! I ended up with a mild case except for the cough and fatigue so if I had to get it that’s they only way I would want it.

Well, I ended up busing one thing…..a pack of 3 Mrs Meyer honeysuckle scented dish soap. WooHoo.

I’ve not ordered a single thing from anywhere that’s having a big sale….can’t think of a thing I need or want.

Checking in from the sick bay………I made it nearly 2.5 years and while working in the middle of Covid testing before catching it and boom, it hit me like a ton of bricks Saturday, while out of town for the holiday weekend. I needed a vacation from work and my bum foot needed a long rest to recover from a horrible plantar fasciitis “outbreak” but not like this. Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.

Happy June all. I don’t know how it got to be June already! been dealing with some health issues the last few months. I tuned 51 and I started falling apart. LOL. Sinus infection, down in my back, foot pain and some abnormal blood counts. Being referred to a podiatrist for my foot and Oncologist for the blood counts……I need a break and a vacation!

Same here. We’ve had so many tornado outbreaks already this year. Thankfully no huge EF-4/EF-5 yet.
