Well Happy Birthday to me! I love waiting until my birthday to open my SS gift! Thank you so much to my Secret Santa for everything!!! I absolutely love everything but my nerdy scientist self freakin adores the science socks! I went to the periodontist yesterday for my post-op visit and he cleared me to eat as normal so Hershey Hugs and Reese’s Pieces here I come!

I did that one year when I had to work a 12-hour shift on Christmas Day.

I can usually wait until my birthday (15th) to open mine since I almost always have mine by then but no way I could wait til Christmas either.

Sorry for the late post but I did receive my Secret Santa gift! I am going to wait to open if on my birthday in two weeks!!!!!!

Happy December! Had some heavy duty oral surgery Thursday so I’ve been down for the count all weekend, existing on jello, pudding and mashed potatoes. Through the haze of Rx pain meds I think I have finished shopping for gifts thanks to Amazon. Now to wait on it all to arrive and go through it…….said haze may have caused some interesting choices to be made. LOL.

I decided today to go to the local Walmart here where I am for the weekend to check things out. It appeared to be quite the lackluster Black Friday for them this year. Lots of things left including a pallet full of Rubbermaid containers and the Gourmia air fryers. They even had lots of the towels left. I picked up a copy of Pioneer Woman cookbook and was able to still order her fry pan for pickup today at a store in TN. I will pick it up tomorrow.

Target pickup absolutely beats Walmart all to h**l. I do it all the time.

Most of my purchases were made before today and the only stores I’ve been in today were Dollar General and Dollar Tree. Walmart first sale: Apple Watch Series 9 in pink. Used points on my Walmart Capital One card and only spent $100 for it. Yay me. Kohl’s: one throw, couple pairs of pajamas and a coupe of shirts for work JCP: one pair of jeans and a necklace for a gift Best Buy: Belkin 2-port USB-C 40W charging brick Target: one Air Tag …… extra 5% off with RedCard and used some gift card rewards earned from previous shopping trips Amazon: Golden Corral gift card from a lightening deal, golf club gadget and wind guards for Blackstone griddle for my Dad, a pair of shoes for me and a box of kitchen trash bags. Clinique: stocked up on moisturizer Crocs online: one pair for me and one for a gift……. Yes, we are a crocs family and proud of it. I still need some gifts so I’ve got to come up with something soon!

Nope, that math ain’t mathin!

It’s beautiful out today with perfect weather so I tried to do some gift shopping but it got way too people-y out there for me. LOL. Lasting effects of the pandemic I suppose. I was hoping the ads would inspire me because as per usual I’m clueless on what to buy my family for gifts but no such luck. It seems it’s the same stuff over and over again so off I go to peruse Amazon gift ideas.

I am so over this warm weather! Over it I say. Give me some highs in the 50’s please.

Way too long even though I have a small number of gifts to wrap. My back can’t take much of it and I have nowhere to go except the bed to use. Ugh. I love having wrapped gifts so I usually end up with a combo of wrapped and bagged.

NICE!!! I want to upgrade my 1st generation SE but was hoping for a better markdown. Maybe someone will have a steal on the series 8.
