70% off here except for bagged candy. They are still bringing stuff out-mostly bags, bows, etc... Not sure why it wasn't put out sooner. They had room but maybe they didn't have the staff to do it. Still have trees and lights here.

Called at 8:00 to check, still 50% off. The Target operator said FYI the mall is not open yet. There's been an "incident". Since I knew my sister was planning to be there at 8:00 I had to run over (5 minutes) to take a look. Every entrance is blocked off, even with the state patrol. The local mini mart told me it was a robbery at Scheels. However, the guy at McD's told me it was more than that-car crashed into the door and there were gunshots. I sure hope and pray everyone's ok. At least the mall didn't have many people there yet. I guess there could have been some mall walkers... Scary.

Great finds at the dollar spot! They had put things out that hadn't been there the last two days I've been there. I got some wooden butterfly shapes with the lacing strings in a wooden box for .90, a bunch of Rudolph coloring books, cookie mirrors, crayon rings, Hello Kitty gift bags, fun packs to go, puzzle pencils, shaped erasers, etc... Filled up the cart about 3/4 with stuff for Operation Christmas Child. The linen type tablecloths that are by the Smith and Hawken (sp) and candle area were all 70% off. That kind of surprised me. Reg. Christmas was the same-50% off.

When I was at Target late morning they were putting alot of stuff out in the Christmas section. An awesome deal I got was on the boxed Transformer kids set of 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste for $1.49. I took a TON for Operation Christmas Child for next year. Also, they had the Planters Nuts-choc almond, and two other kinds. Neither of these were there the day before. I'm excited to see what's out first thing Friday morning. You never know what else they might find!

I checked the signage at the dollar spot when I was there today and the 50% off sign said 12/26/12-12/27/12 so I'm thinking it's tomorrow. Strange amt of time but I'm going to check it out tomorrow.

Since I was at my store when they opened I got some 2 pk Bounty paper towels at 1.99 reg 3.99. They also had Ziploc freezer size bags (got some of those), Reynolds Wrap (still have 10 roles from the last couple of years so didn't get any), Glad wrap (the grab kind-got a couple) and the Glad plastic kitchen food saver sets (they brought a whole box of those out about 30 or 45 minutes after they opened).

Just a reminder that there are boxed lotion gifts sets that have a coupon for a free year magazine subscription in it. I know at least one as Oil of Olay and there's a mens one too. I think there were 4 or 5 different sets that had the offer on. It usually says it in the top right corner or the middle of the package front. A nice lady pointed it out to me last year and I did it and it worked. I don't subscribe to any magazines but when they are free I'll take them! Fun to get mail. I think I got Glamour, Allure, Newsweek and Better Homes and Gardens. The gift sets are only 4.97. It's a really great deal. They had a 2 pack toothbrush and a toothpaste in Disney Princess, that cartoon Pirate or Cars for $2.97. Not a bad deal. Got a couple of LED light sets. It was fairly busy there. They hardly had any candy and some of it was barely marked down. It was pretty fun.

I got my usual tons of stuff at Target this morning! I got a bunch of flameless candles because I am obssessed with them! I got paper towels, ziploc freezer bags and a few of the Glad plastic storage food container sets. I loved the dollar spot clearance. Once again there were signs everywhere for the 50% off but it was only yellow dot. I hate how they do that now. I got a ton of those shaped erasers, the animal and dessert ones. I got some of those mini rubic cubes things, some small flashlights and a few odds and ends for myself. I give all that dollar spot stuff to Operation Christmas Child for the shoebox project. Oh, I got Russell Stovers candy, my favorite!, and the Planters specialty nuts in the tin. Good deals for half price. On a scary note I have never seen Target so unbusy on the day after Christmas and I've been shopping at Target for probably 15 years. Usually there are people with carts heaping full and there are usually long lines. Never mattered if it was a work day or not. Not many full carts and only one person in line to have to wait for. I've never thought the "down" economy affected us that much (university and teaching hospital here) but now I see it. I can't believe the amount of lights they had too. Lots of times there's not much left to choose from. The busiest store I found was Hobby Lobby!

It's true alright-but it invalidated my Kohls cash. She told me to come back on Saturday when she was working and bring an old receipt and she would give me the Kohls cash. I do get great deals at Kohls!

I went to Kohls tonight to look at the clearance again. They have quite a few things, mostly jr and ladies clothes, @ 90% off. Plus they have red signs above the clearance to take another 25% off! I also have a 30% off coupon. And, they are giving Kohls cash! I was leaving the store after I checked out and they stopped me and said I was the daily winner for the win your receipt contest! It was $112.00!l! So it was all free. Plus they gave me a $10.00 gift card. For example, Jr tee reg $28.00 down to $2.80 less 25% = $2.10 less 30% = $1.47! Girls jeans $40 down to $4 less 25% = $3.00 less 30% = $2.10. They need to make an extreme shopper reality show! I found things there today that I didn't see yesterday (like those girls jeans). Might be worth checking out

Thanks op. I ran over and got two of the City Bank sets. I used the coupon, buy one get one 50% and my Target red card! Without counting the $10.00 gift card, that made each set $21.50 (instead of $50). My friend has two sons, 5 and 6, so I bet she will buy them from me now and save them for next Christmas. That's a great deal for a Lego set, especially with all the vehicles it comes with. Thanks again!

Why, why, why hasn't Walmart figured out a better way to handle Black Friday??? I could have told them years ago how to handle it....I think most of us on here could!

That sounds alot like my local Kmart and my Walmart (on BF, otherwise Walmart's not too bad).
