Boo Hoo. I went to Target yesterday hoping they would mark the rest of the toys 70% off today. They had a ton of those 4 piece dancing Barbie sets and some Disney dolls, etc.... Got there at 8:00 and almost all of it went salvage. I hate that!!!!!! The only thing they kept were those fuzzy blue Monster dudes and some odds and ends. They did mark down some scooters and camping stuff to 70% off. It wasn't a wasted trip but they have never salvaged so many toys at 50% before. They had game tables, dartboards, etc... 70% off too and they were busy in the picture frame aisle marking when I left. -

Got a few things. Like the other posts some 70% and some 50%. Barbie's still 50% off. Got a few things but nothing exciting. The most boring markdown ever! I will add though that the Market Pantry Pumpkin Cheesecake cookies are absolutely delicious and horribly addicting! They marked them .98 today. I think I have about 20 boxes here now. Will freeze some. One of the best cookies EVER. The Christmas mac/cheese is .64 too. I also had to get a pack of Pringles Pecan Pie Chips for a joke. Maybe they will be good but they sound disgusting! lol -

Toys reset at my store but all the same prices. I don't think there's really anything I want this year. For the first time in I don't know how long I may not even go. Usually I'm there when they open. -

Lots of movement in kids today-lots at 50% and 70% off. They also marked down the Graco la petite glider to $32.98 (70% off). Markdown team still there at 1:00 and boy were they grouchy! -

The asst manager at Kmart told me tonight that they think it will go 90% off tomorrow. He's not totally sure but that's what he's heard. He thinks it will include the food too, which is now at 50% off. I just called and it's 75/70 so I think the food went 70%. -

You just never know. I'd say it's about 60/40 for being all done when they open. There's one clerk here that gets really pissy if get close to her if they are still marking stuff down. It's a drag. She wants people "out of her space". They were marking down men's when I was there around 11:00. She was there too and since I didn't need anything I didn't stay in that area. Sometime I'm going to ask the manager what the policy is when they are marking stuff down. Are we free to look? Take the marked down stuff from the rack? I don't like getting the evil eye or a snicker from that one clerk. -

Hobby Lobby is 90% off. I wasn't going to go out today but it's so cold I thought I'd run over just to warm up the car for awhile! I figured it would go today since it was 80% off all last week. Our store had some good stuff left-especially beautiful wreaths with matching garland. Lots of ribbons, flowers, stockings, ornaments, etc.... I got three Nativity sets (one a gift) too. Worth the trip. -

90/70 here. Had a blast with my sister. Got a lot of stuff for the Christmas shoeboxes. Fun! -
I went early afternoon on New Years Day. I got Sperry shoes! :) Probably would have gotten even more if I'd gone first thing in the am. We wear 9 or 10 so those go quickly.

Lots of Michaels stuff went 80% off today. They didn't have it signed yet at 11:00 this morning so I had to have them scan a lot of things. Got tons of stuff for the Samaritans Purse shoebox project. Walgreens is 75% off too. -

First time EVER I wasn't at the door when it opened. I got there about 40 minutes later and it wasn't very crowded. Lots of everything left (except tissue, etc.. which always goes in the first few minutes). Not sure why it wasn't packed like it usually is. Not long lines at the checkout-only one in front of me and 8 lines open. Weird. -

Christmas trees are 50% off already and so are some of the deco items that are usually in the asiles by the candles. Lights are 25% off. I didn't get a paper on Saturday so I don't know if this was in their ad or not. -

Hannukah stuff 90% off. The little candles were pretty cool and could be used for funky birthday cake candles. -

Michaels - Melissa and Doug stuff-BOGO and extra 30% off that, scrapbook stickers and plastic storage cases. Shoe Carnival-Sperrys for me and my ds for 59.99 less $10.00 coupon. May return them-not sure yet. Younkers - @ $10.00 off $10.00 purchase. Got two really nice Christmas towels using the coupons. Old Navy-got my ticket to try and win a million dollars! I'll check online shortly. Wish me luck! Walmart-12 of the $5.00 Hot Wheel 9 packs for Operation Christmas Child for next year, two of the Sharpie sets, 1 of the Crayola twistable sets. Kohls-3 of the Barbie $7.99 doll with two outfit.sets (less 15%). I shop there ALL the time so they snuck me into a lane since I only had the 3 items. Nice of them. Claires-some 10 for $10.00 clearance stuff, plus they had some $1.00 beanie baby type Smurfs. Got the free watch. (Most of it for the Christmas boxes next year). Gymboree-50% off storewide plus I had 20% off coupon and $45.00 in rewards. Target-ordered sewing machine online last night. Got 5 $2.00 washcloth sets for Oper. Christmas child for next year-they are always short on those when they do the annual box packing here. Tomorrow: Joann's for buttons, thread and a nice scissors! -
Black Friday lines pathetic compared to years past!
kathytheshopper replied to TazErase's topic in 2013
Walmart was crazy around 6:00 when I went in and turned around and left. I went back around 8:00 and could go right up to a register to check out. Kohls was nuts as usual-checkout lines wrapped all the way around to the back and meeting up to the other line. I just checked out at Target about 20 minutes ago because it finally got down to only about a dozen people in line! I only wanted some $2.00 washcloth packs! There was quite a line outside before it opened. Not as many as usual but still alot of people since the checkout like was steady for 3 1/2 hrs! I would guess there were 200+ people waiting for Target to open. Best Buy had a line but maybe more like 100 people. The mall was really busy so that's good. I think the store that is the busiest is the McDonalds drive through! lol Long lines there! -

Went to Michaels. Got some super deals on Melissa and Doug products. They were buy one get one free AND the 30% off your purchase worked too! I didn't think it was supposed to on BOGO but it showed it on the receipt. That's supper good for M & D. I also got some stickers, plastic 4 pack of plastic storage for scrapbooking and that was mostly it. I just went to Shoe Carnival. Got a $10.00 card at the door. I got myself and my oldest DS some Sperrys. I had the $10.00 coupon in the paper so I had them ring them up separately so I could use the coupons on each pair. Stopped at Walmart-what a crazy mess-went in and then turned around and left. Back home and heading to the mall shortly. Don't really need anything but it's fun watching. I have a $10.00 off a $10.00 purchase so I will use that at Younkers. I'll be stopping at Gymboree and Crazy 8 but that's all. Then Joann's tomorrow. -

That's awful! I hate it when stores do that. -
I was just waiting in line at Michaels and we were all talking. A woman said that at Menards her husband doesn't get a cart since they are so big and everyone is grabbing one. He goes to the trash can area and gets a wheeled one and uses that! Not a bad idea and thought I'd share.

Wow, only three hours until Target opens and only 7 people in line so far. That might be a record low. THere's usually tons of people in line by now. Best Buy has a pretty fair line so that's good. I wonder with the early openings will end up being a bad idea. We'll see soon enough. Update: Long line now! 7:00 PM

Just got home from going out to get the paper with the ads! It's 3:35 AM and I think I got the first one! lol
