Kmart just went 70% off at my store about an hour ago. They were just starting to put up signs. The food rang up at 50% though.

Michaels went 80% off today but it's not signed. Mega Blocks (Barbie, Hello Kitty, Truck, SpongeBob) and even all the Christmas books are ringing up 80% off!! You never find nice Christmas books for that price-even the Lego Christmas one! There's also the $5 off $25 coupon which works on all the Christmas clearance but not the books. Also some of the stocking stuffer stuff is ringing up .10! Some of it was marked down to .50 and it looks like the 80% was taken from that-it's hit and miss (jacks sets, scento markers are .20, scento bubbles are .20, my little pony type crayons were .10, etc....). Scan, scan, scan!!!

Went to three Targets and three Walmarts today! (4 of the 6 are in a neighboring town). Except for the cold, which I love, the weather was sunny and the gas was cheap so I went. I've never done this before because the weather is usually bad this time of year. All the Targets were 70% and the Walmart 75% although none of the Walmarts were signed 75% off. Had a great time and got tons of stuff for the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child for next year. 2 of the 3 Targets had tons of great stuff left in the dollar spot for 70% off.

Food and candy was 50% off this morning. Also the dollar spot was 50% off but the signs still said 30%.

Smallest crowds for the 26th I've ever seen at Target. You could actually get through an aisle. I spent the least amt I've ever spent at Target. Went back last night (9:30) and hardly anyone shopping. The employees were downsizing everything. Spent more at Walmart (they had 100 foot outdoor extension cords for 1/2, only $8.12! I got 7 of them). Also the marked down toys were hit and miss and I didn't see very many. I'll have to check back.

Forgot about this when I went to Target and saw a lady with two of them in her cart! She took the last two which is fine, I don't need them and she got there first!

ANyone remember when Hobby Lobby goes 66% off?

Slept an hour last night! Went to Pauls Discount (local store) to try and win a 50" tv at 6:00 and a tablet at 7:00 but didn't win. Went to Joanns between drawings and got some stuff. Then I went to Menards. My sister is there checking stuff out so I can go to bed! All in all another fun Black Friday! Now, off to bed!

Michaels: Melissa and DOug toys at 50% off plus an extra 30% off. Some craft storage, bead, etc... Went to wait in line at Penneys-it was cold out, around 14 degrees-got a $10.00 off coupon. Saw the pyrex 18 pc glass container sets for $14.99 after $10.00 rebate. Hurried over to the checkout and rebate didn't print out. She said they weren't a rebate item. So I ran over and brought the sign back. She had to manually adjust my receipt and I think she did it wrong because the prior total was 15.89 and the credit was 12.95 which makes the whole set 2.94! Off to wait in line at Younkers. Another cold half hour there. Got a $20.00 coupon. Bought the two things I wanted asap and put them in my car. I went back in to use the $10 off a $10 purchase and there was hardly ANYTHING in the store that qualified! I did find some Hefty glass store/serve sets so I got that. Had other coupons so got another set and some socks (girls) that ended up free. I also found some 5pc Sophia sets (3 smaller figures, 2 larger figures, reg 44.00 for 9.97. I'm going to see if my cousin wants them for her granddaughters. Then to Gymboree and Crayz8. Back to Younkers. Target-bought popcorn, saw long line and left. Over to Walmart where I didn't get anything and there were no lines (around 8:30). Looked but didn't buy anything except a banana! Over to Kohls-bought two Melissa and Doug toys and a FP baby toy. I tried to check out at jewelry but you needed to buy jewelry so I went over and grabbed a clearance bracelet (1.40) and was able to check out there. Back to Michaels for a few stickers. Home to rest for awhile. I may run back to the mall again later. I want some of those Target washcloths if there are any left. I wore a turkey hat I got last year at the dollar spot at Target on clearance. I had sooooo many compliments from old, young, men and women! That was fun.

Michaels has 80% their school (like giant erasers for .19), locker stuff and some teacher type stuff (hall passes, flashcards, etc..)

Swimming pools and lots of swim stuff 70% off along with most of the backpacks and lunch bags.

The rest of the back to school went 70% off today (not backpacks or lunch bags). Don't forget that if you spend $25 you can use that coupon/app and get a $5.00 gift card. I got tons of the two packs of scissors, Bic pens, bracelet erasers, etc.... all for the shoebox project. I got some of those "Gelbies" to give out for Halloween. They have Elmers Extreme glue sticks for .58 cents and I had .50 off coupons so I got a ton of those. I didn't know, however, that Target has a limit for how many coupons you can use (the coupon didn't have a limit printed on it). That messed things up but my nice clerk gave me a gift card for the coupon amount since she knows I give most of this away. I guess it's store policy but I don't see any signs, etc... I can understand honoring the limits on a coupon but i don't see why the store needs to limit them.

Thanks OP! I just got home from Target-ran over as soon as I read your post. I got a ton of stuff. My cousins son is the principal of a Catholic grade school so I got 100 of the glue for .03 each! Their art rooms will be stocked for a long time now. I got all the change purses and staplers left. Found some spiral notebooks and the bags of red pens were super cheap too. I got everything for the shoeboxes and/or the grade school. So much fun! Oh and I also got enough to get two of $5.00 gift cards! (checked out twice)

Since I was there when they opened yesterday I grabbed a whole unopened box of .07 notebooks. They are for the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. There were plenty more those. Which Mead notebooks are you talking about? I didn't see anything else that cheap at our store and I was there again today. I don't want to miss something! lol

SOme school marked down to 70% off. Their spiral notebooks are .07 cents. Their store brand two pack of glue sticks are .11. Not clearly marked so unless it has a red clearance tag price on it you will have to scan it. It's mostly the store brand items although the single post it note packs were 70% off too.

Wednesday afternoon-dollar spot 70% off!!! They had a ton left so I got a cartful for the shoebox project. Some of the school in the back of the store was 30% with a few things 50%. Most of the dollar spot is the stuff with a triangle on it but it is supposed to be the stuff with the red spot on the shelf. Confusing, as usual.

Thanks for the tip on the Tootsie Rolls. I'll stop by tomorrow. As of this afternoon our store still didn't have any signs up. I had noticed those red spots on the shelves. The only things I found that scanned 50% off were the triangle ones. Does anyone's sign say the "through" date so I know when it will go 70% off? Usually it's Thursday morning. Thanks.

Easter and dollar spot salvaged although I found one Easter item and it still rang up 90% off. Good deal on the Ziploc bags on sale. I wanted the snack size bags for my OCC shoebox items. 300 count for $6.49 and if you buy three you get a $5.00 gift card. I noticed .50 coupons on some of the boxes and they worked so I got the 300 count for 5.99 each and the $5.00 gift card. A really good deal! Also they had a price markdown on the 4 pk kids Peanuts toothbrushes for $1.49. Good price for a set of 4. Bought 8 sets for the shoeboxes.

90%/70% here. Dollar spot 70%. Got a lot of those chapstick sets. THose are fun.

The pre-filled, cellophane wrapped Easter Baskets were 50% off but the empty Easter Baskets were 70% off along with all the fun toys to put in. There were some infant Carters clothes, tablecloths, etc... that were 70% off. It seems like any items with candy in it (Pez, the above mentioned fllled Easter Baskets, etc...) were at 50%. They changed that this year.

Usually the dollar spot goes on Thursday. I was surprised it didn't. I did notice the other day though that the signs didn't have dates on them like they usually do. It's 70/50 here for Easter. Got Disney Princess dolls, Hello Kitty figurines, spinning ball tops, baby toys, etc... Gotta watch the prices though because, as usual, there are regular price things mixed in.

I would assume Easter will go 50/70 Thursday.

No Easter deals posted? I did go to Target and got the Kelly dolls for OCC shoeboxes. They also had some of those little Barbie figures back there. I think they probably were supposed to have moved them but they gave them to me for 50% off. I got those for the shoeboxes too. Otherwise I didn't get anything else. The Legos were gone by the time I got there.

Valentines stuff was 70% off today.
