Kohl's usually has the best deals on Black Friday. This year may be different due to supply problems. If I see something at a good price, I'll get it. I've tried to get Black Friday items before and they sell out fast so I expect them to sell out even faster this year.

The ad looked similar to their regular weekly ads. If they only have one of the good deals at the store, it will be really hard to get one.

All the shortages are crazy! My granddaughter likes Bluey. I had never heard of it until this summer. Finding Bluey toys is hard. If you see something you like, get it because the next day it might be gone. If you look online you might find it but the price will be four or five times higher than the original price in the store. Grocery shopping is a challenge. A lot of items are out of stock. Even if it looks like the store has a lot of stuff, it might be just spread out with single items in the row. It looks as bad as last summer when shortages were reported due to plant/ processing centers closed for covid at times

It's hard to tell which ads are really Black Friday ads or just sales leading up to Black Friday. I've seen some good deals already. I love seeing all the ads on Gottadeal. Thanks!

Photo #1 - I wish I had a blu-ray machine! Netflix just cancelled a bunch of these movies. Photo #2 - I got some good deals, but I still can't find that hot toy. Google says it's out out of stock all over town....but they have 1 left an hour away.... Photo #3 - I'm first in line and noone better cut in line! There are 6 of the doorbuster deal available and we each are getting one.

When I see an upcoming gold box deal I'm interested in, I check the price. Often the gold box price will be higher than it was before the gold box deal started.

Several years ago, my daughter would go with me to stand in the long lines to try to get the hot deals she and her sisters wanted for Christmas. Two of them wanted laptops that year. We were towards the back of the line with little chance of getting the deal. As everyone in line were discussing the items they were after, another shopper handed us an ad for another store that opened later. We liked the computers at that store so we drove to that store and were one of the first people in line. We got two computers at a great price that day and the girls had a great surprise on Christmas. Another time we were in line to get a laptop to replace one that wore out. The wii had just come out. Someone asked if we were there to get a wii. People around us thought we were crazy as we discussed if we wanted one or not. We decided we did and got it on a doorbuster deal.sometimes you just luck into a deal. We were lucky that day. As the children have grown up and moved away, I miss the times of long lines spent waiting with my daughters followed by breakfast in their choice of restaurant. Then Christmas tree hunting and decorating in the afternoon.

I don't see as many people since covid. So I would fewer gifts for non family members this year. I see fewer people since covid. I will buy fewer gifts for non family members this year.

There is a lot on sale. I couldn't get the free shipping code to work.

I did most of my shopping online. Worked well since most items were going to relatives in other states anyways. Some were delivered fairly quickly and others still haven't been delivered. Macy's was ordered Nov 19th and still hasn't been received. Shipping on some items took twice as long as listed when ordered. You need to order early and allow extra shipping time.

It doesn't feel the same. It is hard to shop at places that have a minimum for free shipping when they spread the days they add the Black Friday deals in. Wal Mart has deals starting on Wednesday and add more on Saturday. But, just like on Black Friday, you have to be there online when the deal starts to get the stuff or it's gone-so no getting both sale items together to get the free shipping.. Even finding additional items to get the free shipping is hard so the item doesn't get sold out before you check out...and paying the shipping makes the "great deal" go away....as does buying their new program that offers free shipping. Maybe I'll get the hang of it if Black Friday is this way next year. lol

I got a baseball cap I really liked. Some of the ideas suggested would be nice: hoodie, cooler bag, throw, full zip fleece, fanny pack, and portable charger. The t-shirts are always nice. Those thin credit card/driver's license holders that attach to your phone.
