I wasn't impressed with the toys listed.

The only problem I have with gift cards is all the store closings. I would hate to give a gift card that isn't honored. Amazon shipping hasn't been all that fast at times during the pandemic- actually, it started getting slower even before that. I plan to order earlier than normal for the people I need to send presents to.

I think I'll miss just browsing in the stores- I miss it already. lol I will miss going to JC Penny for their coupon giveaway. They usually have great deals that day too. I probably will buy fewer impulse buy if shopping online. Things just look better in person- plus you can't really tell what clothes will look like online. I'll miss the excitement of trying to get the great doorbusters- they usually have some that are not offered online and it will be a lot more difficult if everyone is shopping online. I'll miss all the Christmas decorations. I'll miss spending that time with my children. It just won't be the same.

These are great prizes! I'm a little disappointed that BF will be different this year. Some stores seem to already have big discounts, which is good. It makes you wonder if there will be any steep discounts for Black Friday. It will be easier to spread out the spending for Christmas though.

This sounds like a great prize! I hope I get one.

It's not as exciting when the kids get older

I did that last year. It was great! You don't get enough to earn Kohl's cash but the stuff can be shipped to more people....and it's much cheaper.

I love the coupon handouts. My daughter talked me into going to the JCPenny store one year because she wanted to try to get the $500 coupon and I actually got a $100 coupon. Now I go every year. I have heard several people who were in line near me say they got $100 coupons and even one who said they got the $500 coupon. So they are out there.My biggest complaint is that they mark a lot of things at $9.99 so you have to get more to use the coupon. lol. They usually have the same coupon giveaway on Black Friday morning when they open. Good Luck everyone!

I hope there are lots of free shipping sites this year. kohl's sale is nice but you have to spend $50 to get the free shipping.

I think the Levi jeans for $16 on page 16 looks like a good deal. Inline skates for$18 in page 15 look like a good deal too.

I'm hoping for a good deal on a smart TV but everyone is talking bigger than I thought was big. Do the 32-42 inch TVs go on sale for Black Friday?

I love their sale! I got a great deal on a laptop last year! Last year the site crashed for hours when it started. Hopefully they fixed that problem.

The Christmas movies are already on during the day. They must have started some on the 15th of Oct even though I was waiting until the 25th as the ads have been saying...I guess the 24 hours a day ones start then. Today was not Christmas movies. I usually watch Hallmark Christmas movies. The stations must show some of the same ones because I have seen a couple of them from last year and I watched Hallmark last year. More to see! YAY!

My budget is smaller this year too. When I was looking for computers for my kids in the past, I often found better deals before Black Friday and didn't have to stand in line....providing I wasn't looking for the doorbusters but a more powerful machine. last year I found a nice laptop at the early sale at Sam's club...I think it was around the 11th of November. I don't know how to build one so I look for one in the ads.

I love Christmas. It seems like the decorations come out in the stores earlier and earlier. I started shopping in July for relatives I visited but won't see until next summer.

The deals started really early this year. I got a lot of stuff before black friday online.

JCPenny had a line from the front door around the side to the back of the building to get in when it opened. The line to check out was over 40 minutes. There were a lot of people just using the $10 off $10 coupons and a lot buying carts full of stuff. They ran out of carts and were asking people for them as they checked out. Very hot waiting in line.

Finally a release about Verizon for Black Friday. Ads seem to be slower coming out this year...except at the beginning of the month. It seems like several stores claim the whole month for Black Friday deals.
