Great deals. Wish the ads came out earlier.

Samsung has their phones on sale now.

I love looking at the ads. I used to see the ads on Thanksgiving in the paper. With the internet sales starting early, a lot of the online items are sold out before the ads arrive with the paper.

I think the ads have a lot of great deals...but as the family gets older, there isn't as much I want to get for them. Plus they already have some of the stuff. There are a lot of TVs-mostly bigger than I look for. It was easier when the kids were little and liked anything you got them. lol

I think a lot more retailers are having the one day sales. There are some pretty good sales out there. I'm sure they are trying to get you to buy from them before you go to another retailer. I think it is nice to be able to get some things before Black Friday so you do not have to choose which place to go first, knowing that the other places will probably be out of whatever great deal you want at that store. I also wonder if their prices will be better on Black Friday-or if another retailer will have the same thing a little cheaper.

Black Friday is taking too long to come.

We always had a different wrapping paper for each of the children. One would be in charge of handing out the presents one at a time. They would hand out one for each child for a couple of turns then mom and dad got a present to open since we had fewer. It worked well. The stockings were opened as people got up so they could play with the contents while waiting for the others.

Great offer. I always try to shop where I get free shipping when shopping for out of state relatives.

Last year Sam's club had some good deal. I'm hoping they have good deals this year too.

I don't know about Ross, Sam's club usually has Starbucks. Amazon has Starbucks discounted gift cards in the gold box deals at various times during the year. Last year Groupon had them at one point too.

I always buy candy to have on hand. I usually get slipper socks or slippers too.

I try to pick things up all year if the price is good. It seems like more stores are having deep discounts earlier this year. Last year there were a lot of good deals starting at the beginning of November. Some of them were as good as or better than Black Friday. I'll still find stuff I want on Black Friday though!

I've already started shopping for Christmas. Some of the sales are good already. It makes it easier if you don't have to buy everything in November and December. I'm still waiting for the Black Friday ads. I hope to get some great deals.

Walmart put out an email telling you when they had them-they sold out fast. Get on the alert list. Game Stop emailed me once that they were getting them in select stores. Best Buy had me on their list and I heard they sold out but I never was notified. Someone told me they had called Target and they had them so I went over immediately and got one for my daughter for a gift. After preorder game stop was holding them for a couple of days then putting them out if they hadn't been picked up.I think it's just hit and miss. Some stores will tell you if they expect them...if they expect them in their shipment, you probably should be there when they open.

I hate shopping at stores that have higher prices either online or in stores. It just seems dishonest to have to pay more one way or the other. I try to avoid those stores as a general rule-not just at Christmas.
