At first I thought that they might have told the kids to write down their wish or to just write down whatever they wanted, but an ipad for an infant? That just seems weird.
  2. I find them at Marshals, TJ Maxx, and Ross all the time. I'm not sure about lighter weight ones, but I buy DH the Nike Dri-Fit shirts a lot too and they do come in some lighter weights. I also find those at the stores I mentioned. DH has had some of his Under Armour shirts, pants and underwear for 10 years. They hold up great.

For a 12 year old I think you could get her some hair spray, a lip gloss set and some lip balm too. You could also add a brush and some hair clips. Since she did list makeup maybe you could get a neutral colored eyeshadow.(Cream, brown, taupe) Covergirl has some cute sets. For the 16 year old, she may be interested in animals because she wants to be a vet? Borders has lots of animal books and I always find some in their bargain book section. You could also get her one of those adopt an animal kits from the World Wild Life fund. They start at $25 and are really cute. http://www.worldwildlife.org/ogc/species_category.cfm The Animal Planet section of the Discovery Channel store has some cute ideas too. http://store.discovery.com/?v=animal-planet
  4. Spend $75 on qualifying toys and get a Amazon Holiday Gund Bear for free! He is too cute! I have the one from last year and he is so soft and abut 12 inches tall. His list price is $29.99 and he is selling for $25.44 cents without a $75+ toy purchase. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41V6XClRN%2BL._SL500_AA300_.jpg Qualifying toys http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=amb_link_354460462_4?ie=UTF8&docId=1000621281&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=1FE1WVKMZ6EV48G4H524&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1279371962&pf_rd_i=165793011 Link to the Amazon Gund Bear Regular http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Exclusive-Limited-Brown-Gund/dp/B002YHPC1O/ref=br_lf_m_1000621281_1_1_ttl?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=toys-and-games&pf_rd_p=1279365242&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_t=1401&pf_rd_i=1000621281&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=11WZTY063C3WC7C5DBAD

  7. A vase or a decorative bowl? Have flowers delivered in a nice vase? Target had some decorative bowls for 75% They are metal I believe and have a hammered look to them. They were in the home decor department. The least expensive one I saw was about $4. I don't have the dcpi number, didn't even think to write it down earlier. http://www.harryanddavid.com/gifts/store/item____gourmet-gift-sales-and-values_shop-by-occasion-all-occasion-gifts_23999#:s=best:p=2

    Angel Tree

I picked out three names today and hopefully with the great deals I find I'll be able to get more names. I LOVE giving to the Angel trees. The requests from the gift recipients were so simple. Reading them made me tear up a bit. Shampoo and Conditioner, juice glasses and stuffed animal. (thinking about making one at Build a Bear) I am looking for a coupon for the shampoo and conditioner and I know Marshals had some nice sets of glasses the other day on clearance. There is a $20 limit per gift, so I like to save as much on the gift they requested so that I can give them a little something extra too.
  10. You may need to buy the newer version of the xbox 360 that came out a few months ago. My husband plays Halo Reach and everyone he knows that has that game and an older version of xbox 360 had lag issues with the new game especially when they played online. DH and his friends with the newer xbox 360 had no problems at all. I am not sure if that is true for Call of Duty Black Ops, he doesn't play it which makes me so happy, it is way to realistic to me and creeps me out a bit. The new version has wifi built in so it is easier to connect online so he can play online. I am almost positive that he can now use the small flash drives for memory. I can't remember at the moment and DH is at work now. I bought the new version for DH in September right after his other 360 broke, again, for the fifth time in 4 years! They had some great prices on the older version when we bought the new one, but I did not want to keep messing with the issues with the older one. Target has the 4gb for $199 on BF and you get a free $50 gift card and when you spend $100 or more at Target you will get a free $10 gift card too. http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/black-friday-2020-Xbox3604GBConsolewFree50GiftCard.html
  11. If you have any local shoe stores around you that sell them talk to them and see if they have any coupons or sales.
  12. I was playing around with their site because, well I'm bored! :) Anyway, their site is still allowing people to order the mouse, 1 free item and then the 1 free item that includes the 4 different items. They really should fix their site. I had planned on placing an order for my brother, but I won't be doing that now because of the way they have been treating people.
  13. Roasted Brussel sprouts Peppermint bark Hot chocolate with fresh whip cream Apple cider My Mom's stuffing My Dad's mashed potatoes and when we watch football my husband asks me to make Hanky Pank(y)s. My aunt used to make them. They look a bit gross and the velveeta is far from natural, but I must admit they are good. Now I make mine with natural sausage, organic rye bread and velveeta:D Cook sausage, add velveeta and let melt. Mix it all together and then spread on to party rye bread slices and heat in the oven on 350 until the bread is lightly toasted.
  14. Your son can do a lot with the ipod touch. Listen to music, play games and download applications for it. He can find apps that can help with his school work, and many other things. He will need an itunes account to download apps and you can buy itunes cards for as low as $15. If he has cd's he can convert them in to MP3's with itunes and put those on the ipod touch too. If you do decide to get a xbox 360 consider getting it at Target. They have the newer one that is 4gb for $199 and you get a $50 Target gift card and with a $100 dollar purchase you get a $10 gift card too. http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/black-friday-2020-Xbox3604GBConsolewFree50GiftCard.html
  15. There is a bath salt called "Tired Old A$$" It works great and the name is too funny! http://www.littlemoonessentials.com/
  16. I just saw on another thread that Lands End has extended their 30% off sale until today. I believe you can even make returns at the Sears stores too. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?189530-Landsend-30-off-everything-(clearance-too)-and-free-shipping-for-50-or-more
  17. I have found some great coats at Marshals and TJ Maxx. Spyder, Marmot, Columbia, etc.... Two years ago I picked up a Columbia coat that is waterproof with a zip out liner that can be worn separately for $99. The coat still looks great and keeps my husband warm even when we have blizzards. My Mom and I both have Columbia coats that are over 10 years old and they have held up amazingly well and still look great.
  18. I was going to say Arhaus, but they are not in your area. Ethan Allen has nice pieces and really nice quality. Ethan Allen http://www.ethanallen.com/home We bought our current sofa from Z Gallerie, I like it, but I wouldn't buy it again. We are constantly having to fluff the cushions and they are heavy as heck. We knew they were heavy, but we were told when we bought the sofa that we would need to fluff them once a month the first 6 months to a year and then once every couple of months afterwards. However, we need to fluff them at least 2-3 times a month (have had sofa for almost 2 years) and have to take the cushion out of the cover to do so. Ugh! This is our sofa http://www.zgallerie.com/p-1059-mammoth-sofa.aspx I hope all of their sofas are not like this. Here is a link to their store and a 10% off coupon. http://www.zgallerie.com/c-53-furniture.aspx Do you have any nice furniture consignment shops in your area? My Mom found a great Ethan Allen sofa for $495 at a store near me. Good luck!
  19. I am most excited about the fleece hat and gloves sets for $2 at Target. I know it isn't a huge doorbuster type deal, but I think they'll be great for Angel tree gifts.

    Gymboree

I know the past couple of years they have had a coupon or a percentage off at the stores and online. I hope they still do their coat sale and fleece too. Has anyone heard about their sales this year? Thanks!

    Apple

I know their stores do a little something on Black Friday and they are always packed. Sign up for their emails, I believe they send information out the week of BF.
  22. I've been looking at those types of waffle makers too. I am thinking of getting one for DH, granted I'lll be making them. :) He LOVES homemade waffles!
  23. IllinoisMom, your cheesy turkey is too cute! Sometimes as a snack I will spread cream cheese on to Triscuit type crackers and then put dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, almonds and other seeds or nuts on them. They are sweet and salty, but not too filling.
