Congrats to those that got their TVs, sorry to those who actually got it ordered online and then to be canceled (sometimes for no apparent reason as there were some in stock), and REALLY sorry to those that went to get in line (some really early) and never got a TV because either the store didn't get any, or poor management. This sale might have been one of the worst they have ever done. It was so disorganized and they made many more people upset than they did happy. Ridiculous!!!

Apparently our store had ZERO TVs in stock and the manager didn't bother to tell the people waiting in line until about 8:15. Let's just say those people were not very happy and management didn't really seem to care they wasted so many people's time. I did get my Dragon 2 Combo pack, though.

I still wouldn't hold your breath until you have it IN HAND!!! But congrats so far!

Yeah, so they still have lots of lightning deals. However, 12 AM PST last night was no different than any other midnight earlier this week. There may be a few more deals but pretty much all the same stuff they've been having. I'm glad I didn't wait ALL the way and got some sleep. I did wake up in the middle of the night and took a minute to peek at them.....not worth it

I'll just be out getting cans for the food drive, so I'll swing by at 7:59 and try to pick up a copy ...Let's hope they have more than 8 copies.

Looks like How to Train Your Dragon 2 (Blu-Ray) is only available in stores.

Something definitely seems a bit off for me. But it looks like many things.

We got one last year that was a pretty good deal (I think it was Slumberland). It depends on how good of a mattress you want but sometimes the closeouts they have (mistmatched box spring and mattress, etc.) are even better than BF deals. If you have some close to you, your best bet might be to just venture into the store later on Friday morning.

I find that sometimes I pay the sales tax and other times I don't. That really makes doing tax returns much more difficult at the end of the year because I literally have to look through every order to figure out what I need to pay for!

I've bought so much online over the years and have never noticed a price discrepancy, so I'd have to imagine so... Hard to say for sure until I check it out this year.

I have always just grabbed the PDFs from here and never noticed a difference from a local ad until this. Now, there's likely discrepancies all over the place, but I just haven't noticed...

Wow!!! You are totally right. Same thing for my local WI add. I didn't really bother to check because I didn't see anything on my list. That's borderline ridiculous!!! Pretty much everything is higher priced!

The 4.88 & 8.88 kids' board games are a pretty good deal; haven't seen them cheaper anywhere else that I can tell.

There's gotta be more than this! Seems like it needs to happen soon if sales are starting in 16 hours....

Ha. Good point. When I first read this, I figured it was more BF items. Then, I think all day today I was thinking it was more items to buy now. Now, actually reading it and thinking about it, I'm back to thinking it's more BF items.

It's free and gets you an extra 5% off everything. I just use my Red Card 10-15 times a year and just pay it all off.

I placed an order last week on JCP.com and decided to check the status since I hadn't seen a "Shipped" email. Well, I come to find out they canceled my order. They transferred me to a new department and they were able to re-place my order so we'll see if this goes through. They upgraded me to Free 2-day shipping (I didn't really care because it just needs to arrive for xmas). They said the cause was their new computer system and sometimes orders get caught up and unfortunately cancelled. So, just be aware of this if you're shopping jcp.com for BF; you may be victim to this as well.

So are we thinking this will come out in the next few hours?
