  1. Mine didn't ship until 21st, so maybe I'm getting nervous a little too soon. I looked at the website this morning and paniced a little when all that came up was we are working on upgrading our site, but the site is back up now.
  2. Sorry! Not to be released until January 11, 2011. I was hoping for that one too.
  3. The Nano has technology to sterilize itself, and keep bacteria from growing.

Got mine today. Not very impressed with it at all. Of course, all I'm looking for this year is electronics, and that is never on sale.
  5. My grandma was the same way. She was so giving but NEVER wanted anyone to buy for her. She shared my passion for shopping, so I always took her to Pigeon Forge, TN for the outlet malls twice a year. That made it much easier for me, cause I just followed her around in the stores and watched what she liked and tried to sneak and buy it for her. Of course, she knew what I was up too but tried to let me think I was pulling one over on her. Lol. She loved Aigner so I usually bought her shoes or a purse/wallet in the Aigner outlet store. She also really enjoyed those older lady cardigan sweaters, and Estee Lauder body powders. Diabetes does complicate things a bit when it comes to giving snacks. My mom was dianosed with diabetes last year. In controlling her diabetes we have learned that sugar free candy is not what it seems. You have to learn to control your carbs and sugar free candy often contains as many or more carbs than sugar candy. A diabetic can have candy if they can portion it correctly, and of course walk....walk....walk. My grandma always enjoyed getting fruit baskets, so maybe that would be an alternative to candy.
  6. Thank you. This coupon had very few exclusions, and I was able to use it on a video game. That doesn't happen very often.....
  7. That's great. You must have a really good one. I have used flat irons 20+ years and have never to this day had any luck with a wet to dry. My MIL is a professional hair stylist and she is the one who first got me a Fusion Tools. After that one finally wore out on me, she got me a Chi for Christmas. I have used one or the other since. I think I like the Chi better, but they both leave a really silky look to my hair and it lasts all day long, no matter the humidity. Everyones hair is different, and mine just responds better to a really good tourmaline ceramic flat iron.
  8. I personally love Chi. The one that racerfan has linked for Overstock is a great buy. Super nice. My aunt ordered my cousin one for Christmas, but hers went out on her by the time it got here in mail, and she went ahead and gave it too her. She LOVES it....so racerfan, thanks again for posting that link. Another brand you might consider is Fusion Tools. I have had both and there is not much difference. Both are great. If you have hair that is curly and tends to frizz at the first sight of humidity (as mine does), I would not recommend a wet to dry. For some reason wet to dry just does not hold my straight look for very long, and within 2 hours I have the frizz look.
  9. Whoohoo. My order status has now changed to shipped. Maybe they will come in next 2-3 weeks.
  10. Did you get a sale paper via e-mail or was it just a $5.00 coupon?
  11. Not me. It is still showing that it is still being packed when I check the status. Guess it's a good thing we ordered early. Coming from overseas it will take a while.
  12. Hhhmmm. Hopefully it is just really slow shipping. The website estimates up to 15 days, but USPS website doesn't give an estimated delivery for something sent first class internationally. I have sold a lot of stuff on Ebay, and had to stop selling Internationally because of problems like this. I once sent something Priority International and the estimation was to be delivered in 15 days, however it ended up taking 2 months for them to receive it. That is why I was concerned about it being an over seas company.
  13. Thanks so much for finding that out. :) I was pretty sure when I ordered that it was an overseas business. It always makes me feel better about ordering anything when the business accepts Paypal.
  14. Thanks so much. I ordered 4 watches.....1 Hello Kitty, 1 Mario, and 2 Disney Cars watches. I also found some cool stocking stuffers cheap. DH wanted a 4 GB micro SD card for his cellphone...those are usually around $30.00. Paid around $10.00 for that. Also have some really neat watch and led flashlight keychains. Anyone ever ordered from this company before? Just wondering where they are located. Usually when you can't find a address under the contact me link they are over seas.
  15. Great. I'm sure she will love it. I passed the link onto my aunt. My younger cousin (she is 15) loves the Chi flat irons as well. She ordered one for her for Christmas too.
  16. The wet to dry you can use on wet hair, so you can straighten and dry at the same time. I don't like the wet to dry because, my hair is naturally very curly, and the wet to dry does not hold my hair straight for very long before starting to frizz. It has also been know to cause more damage to your hair. Tourmaline ceramic gives a silkier finish and does not damage your hair, and your style holds better. I don't think you could find a better flatiron than the one you are looking at.
  17. Wow. Looks like a great price. Even on Amazon this exact same flat iron is $199.99. Chi makes excellent products. I use their flatiron myself, and it doesn't damage your hair like other brands.
  18. Your welcome. The cashier told me that some of the Hallmark's carry them year round. She said that they are looking to do that at their store because they sale so well. Since you have teens to buy for, you might want to look at the personalized ink pens that they have as well. They are available in gold or silver and have a persons name engraved on them. They are $8.95 and are really nice...I found them back in back of the store with the personalized mugs.
  19. Just stopped by Hallmark and they already have them in. The price is $10.99. I have saw them on Ebay for around $5.00, but I guess I just feel like they have a little better chance of getting a bigger bill in the ones from Hallmark.
  20. I have only saw them in my local one starting around mid-October through Christmas. They guarantee 1 bar per box to have a $50.00 bill in it. DS noticed it sitting on the counter 3 years ago. I have bought them one every year since. They always have alot of fun with em.
  21. I always go to Hallmark and get a bar of money soap for DS12 and DH. It is a bar of soap with money rolled up inside it. DS got a $50.00 bill in his last year. Made it alot easier to get him in the shower every night too. Lol...he would've took 3 showers a day to have gotten that money outta that soap faster. Things I have put in that was a huge success include: a wallet, watch clip, ink pen, slipper socks, toboggan (or cap), gloves, key chain, and video games,I always have to get football (or whatever sport the guy is into) cards packs, just a few ideas for the guy... For girls I would go with makeup **like lip gloss in clear, my personal favorite is MaryKay's Starry**, mascara, nail polish, (I like PinkDiscount.com for discounted makeup), key chain, slipper socks, ink pen, scarf. EDIT: Came up with a few more girl item ideas....how bout travel size hair spray (I can't leave home without it Lol), small bottle of lotion, small bottle of perfume, and Yankee Candle scented sanitizer. Hallmark has ink pens that are personalized with names (or best teacher, grandma, etc...) in both gold and silver. Picked one of those up for DH.
  22. ToysRUs is having a two day sale this weekend. It will be starting late Friday 3:00-11:00pm, and early on Saturday 8:00am-1:00 pm . Here is the link to the paper. Link
  23. Me too. I also received a e-mail from them with a 15% off code in it. It is saying that the code is inactive. Just got the e-mail today. EDIT: Just realized why. It is not valid on clearance or today only sales. Bummer....
