Target has the Ipad 2 with a $40 giftcard in store this week. Could this be a good sign of better deals to come for BF?
-
I just pre-ordered Elder Scrolls last night and you could choose delivery on release date for free for Prime Members. I did notice it was automatically on free 2 day shipping and you had to change your shipping option to get release date delivery. If I had not known that option was available I probably would have missed it....

Oh, sorry to hear that. Will keep my eye out and if I see the Denali black in a large on sale anywhere I will shoot you a pm.

North Face on sale again through 6pm. The Denali's are $99.00.

I got a post card today with $10.00 off $10.00 purchase. I used it tonight and spent over $30.00, so I got $10.00 in JcPenney fast cash. Unlike Kohl's cash, you can use it JCPenney fast cash right away on whatever you want. -
Just in case anyone is still looking for one of these..... I got this e-mail tonight regarding the HP Touchpad: Making sure customers have a positive experience when they purchase our products is a priority for us. In some cases, limited inventory makes it challenging to fulfill all customer orders. As you signed up for updates on the HP TouchPad, we wanted you to know that we are officially out of stock. Some retailers will have some stock available, but our online inventory is depleted. Thank you for your interest in this product and the feedback you provided. Your input plays a critical role in defining our product roadmap and will help us continue to bring innovative products to market. Sincerely, HP Looks like some retailers will have them available.

No, it's absolute junk. It will be extremely slow and with Windows CE not many programs will work with it.

It's always MIL, SIL, mom, 2 aunts, and 1 cousin, DH, and myself. We usually go to Walmart first and if we don't need DH, he heads across the road to Home Depot for tools and such..... It's nice to have a group this size, because you can split up your list of needs by what is in what area and most of us split up to get everything and get out quickly. It speeds things up so much.

I went in after the ad was posted just to make sure that they carried that specific washer/dryer set. The salesperson was very helpful in showing me the exact one that would be on sale. If you plan to do the same take the item number with you. It is far less hectic at our local homestore than it is at the big Sears store in the mall. DH was in and out in 10 minutes, and then was off to Home Depot.
-
They did last year. DH bought one of the washer/dryer sets at our local home store.

Looks like more hate it than like it. I, personally like it. I'm a total night owl anyway. Who really sleeps that night anyway. I know, I'm always up half the night planning. Last year I stayed up all night Thanksgiving night waiting for BB to drop the price on DH's Sony Vaio package deal. It finally dropped at 7:30 am, then went to Kmart for their Thanksgiving Day sale to get what I needed there. Helped cook for 2 families on Thanksgiving day and then left for Walmart at 10 that night. Got everything else I needed paid, then was there all night waiting for the Ipod with the giftcard deal. Of course, we had to go to the mall too..... Not sure what we will be doing this year, as I don't have much left to buy. I'm sure I will find something I need.

I know. NorthFace is way too expensive. 6pm sales change every day, so you might still get it at a decent price..... They usually have the North Face stuff on sale once a month.
-
Keep an eye on 6pm.com. They have some on markdown now, but run them on deeper discount every so often. They had em up to 70% off last week. Here is a link to their North Face stuff. Good luck.

Like everyone else has said. Probably with a giftcard. Walmart had the 8gb with a $50.00 giftcard last year.

We have 4 family get togethers. Dh's family on Christmas Eve. DH, DS13 and myself on Christmas morning, then we go to my mom and dads. The rest of my moms side of the family gets together Christmas Evening. It is very hectic..... As kids get older, their gifts get more expensive. DS13 has ask for an Ipad2 this year, so I know he's not expecting a whole lot more. He told me when he ask for it that he knew that it was very expensive and did not expect anything else (Of course he knew he woud still get plenty, but it meant alot that he was considerate about that). Because of his understanding, I think I went even more overboard than usual. I had already bought him things that he found throughout the year that he thought were "cool". We do still have some video games that he wants, that have not been released yet to buy as well. So far we have around 15 gifts, excluding his huge stocking. I am estimating by the time I am done, we will have spent around $1500.00, so yeah I guess I spoil my only child rotten.

For those of you who's children are requesting the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Collectors Edition: Gamestop informed me this morning that only a limited number of this bundle will be available, and they are reserve only. I noticed that Amazon no longer has them for reserve at $69.99 and as of last night had gone to $172.95. I reserved DS13's this morning along with the Collector's edition Strat guide at Gamestop. If you will be looking for the Collectors Edition you might want to get it put on reserve soon.

If the Ipad 2 is what you are worrying about you should look into getting a BestBuy credit card. If you spend over $250.00 you have 18 months to pay it off without any interest.

Went to my local TRU this morning and picked these up. They had a whole bunch of them, but they were actually putting them out on the shelve when I got there. The guy stocking said get em while you can, so I'm guessing they sold alot of them. I got the 360 one for DS and the Wii version for my nephew. Also got 7 of the 3 pack figures. Pretty decent price at buy 2 get 1 free.
-
DS13 is wanting a Ipad2. I'm tempted to go ahead and take the plunge and buy it now, but somethings holding me back..... I know Apple never lowers the price, but I'm wondering if it might come with a giftcard or a free case. What are you other Ipad 2 buyers out there gonna do?
-
Yeah, Toysrus has all kinds of fine print. I tried ordering the buy2get1free online but it was charging me shipping cost. Not that great of savings. I will wait. Amazon is having video games in their gold box deals all day tomorrow. It starts at midnight pacific time. You might wanna check that out.
-
It's usually Buy1Get1 half off or Buy2Get1free. Target also has the B2g1free every year starting around this time. I usually buy during buy1get1half off, however last year I got alot of great deals on Amazon for up to 50% off. I did most of my Amazon buying during the lightning deals the whole week of Thanksgiving.

Nintendo ds or 3ds for a 6 year old?
Kim3498 replied to Red Dog's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Great idea on making sure that there will be games of appropriate age for your child. I ran into that problem when I bought the PS3 for DH when PS3 first came out. I ended up buying a Xbox 360 for DS because of the fact that there were hardly no kid friendly games. I will say, though that DS13 went into our local Gamestop last week and had one of the workers print him a list of upcoming new releases coming out between now and Christmas for all systems and the 3DS had alot more games to be released than DS (of course, you already have a lot of choices for the DS). They are beginning to make some games for only 3DS and that is why DS13 ask for the system in the first place. He saw that one coming before me. Lol. BTW: If you do go with the 3DS, I would consider limiting her exposure to the 3D until she gets use to it. It is very easy to turn the 3d option off on the system. I really like that. -
They had lightning deals the whole week of Thanksgiving last year. I bought a lot of DVD's, and video games really cheap. The price of items in your cart do not drop from a lightning deal because you have to click the link through the deal itself to get the deal price.

I only fix 2 stockings, so I guess I go a bit overboard. I fix for DH and DS13. They both get: Money soap (from Hallmark), funny boxers, movies, a video game, giftcards, and candy (large Hershey Kiss). DS13 is also getting: Clue board game, the current SanDiego ComicCon transformer from this year, dollar bills, Spy recording voice recognition pen. DH is also getting: new sweatshirt (NE Patriots), lottery tickets, new bottle of cologne, and gloves (cause he loses them EVERY year). This is all I have up to this point, however their stockings are HUGE so I'm sure once I get everything in I will still need more. Ugg, I don't even wanna know how much I spend on stockings.

DS13 checked out the display at TRU this past weekend. He is very involved with the video game world, and he says it looks very interesting. He added it to his Christmas list as well. Be aware that it could run into alot of money, depending on what he wants to go with it. Their are several different figures that go with it. You have to buy the figures before you can use them in the game. Here is their link. I did notice that it is on Toysrus hot toy list.
