  1. Thanks for posting this. I got 2 pair of coveralls and 4 long sleeve work shirts for my FIL for $99.00. Great deal.
  2. This link just takes me to the home page.
  3. I had thought about this as well....
  4. Thank you for that information. I will be sure to keep an eye out for these sets.
  5. Thanks for the heads up.
  6. Have they tried the Alternative Energy Lab? Did you order them from the Discovery Store?
  7. I know what ya mean. I don't know if he would use it as much as I would like. He hasn't saw it advertised yet, but DH is convinced that he would love it. Thanks for letting me know about the MythBusters kits. I will check that out. He loves that show.
  8. My son is such a science lover, I am seriously considering this for Christmas. Has anyone else heard of this? It is a mind controled game where you can control things with your mind. Does anyone have this product? If so, is it as interesting as it looks?
  9. Wow, that was uncalled for. I had a similar thing happen to me around that age. I was in Sunday School class, and my churches pastor walked in and announced that Santa was not real. Wow, I was floored. I guess that disappointed feeling is why I chose not to teach my son about Santa. Oddly enough, we ran into that same pastor when my son was 14 months and he ask my son what Santa brought him for Christmas. Hah. My son has always enjoyed playing along with the Santa thing, though for all the kids in our family (most of them do believe).
  10. I think it will be more crowded because of the economy. Lots of people will be out there hunting for a great deal. I know, I waited on more items this year, because my husband had to take a paycut when his company downsized. I am usually finished with my shopping (pretty much) by now and only buy things that would be great stocking stuffers for DS on BF. I am usually on the hunt on BF for my cousin because he is divorced with 4 kids and has no idea what to get the 2 girls, and of course needs to save money himself.
  11. Absolutely. I am constantly making new lists for everyone I buy for. Especially DS. He sees so many things he wants on his laptop (he's such an internet junkie) and on tv.
  12. For the most part, yes I do. My husband and mom always get me some sort of surprise too though.
  13. I was a teenager, so around 16 years. I remember thinking I can't believe they (my mom and aunts) get out of bed so early. I must admit that I had a great time. After that first trip it became a tradition for my mom and I.
  14. We have never had a NO NO list, but I must admit.... I could not wait for him to outgrow the mega and lego blocks. They just cluttered up the house.
  15. No. My son is 11 and honestly I never taught him to believe in Santa. I do know one mother who has a 13 year old and she thought he still believed. She decided to tell him the truth and he told her he had know for several years. He just let her think he still believed because he was afraid she would cut back on what she bought him. Lol. Congrats on the twins.
  16. Always end up shopping with my Mom, MIL, and DH. DS11 wants to go but he won't get outta bed early enough.
  17. My cousin has wanted a vaccum cleaner for Christmas since he was around 4. He is now 19 and still loves them.
  18. Depends what I find. I always make my wants list and if I find something that we may need I do go ahead and pick it up.
  19. Get up around 5 ish, go get the paper. Go pick up my Mom and head straight to K-mart. We go through the ads while waiting on K-mart to open. Come back to her home and we begin to prepare T-day food, while planning our black friday attack.
  20. If TRU opens at midnight, I will so be there. Walmart, Target, BestBuy, Bristol Mall, Sears, JcPenney, Belk, Lowes (for tools for DH), and anywhere else that has a good deal.
  21. I don't usually buy any impulse buys on BF. I make my list of what I need and try my best to stick to it. For the most part it is just toys and video games for my son and nephews.
  22. My pet peeve is definately those who try to jump line. I stood in line last year for over an hour at Walmart, and had a lady try to just walk up and jump in front of me as I was ready to pay. She actually said to me "I have a puppy at home in bed and it will be scared if it wakes up and I am not there". Haha. I'm sorry but waaayyy back there is the end of the line.
  23. Targets has red Sprike for $119.99.
  24. This is what I do. I pick it up and put it away for 1 week. If he picks up after himself for that whole week I give it back. It works really well for us.
  25. Wow, that's awesome. You will have to let us know if they are really nice. I can't beleive they are sewn on for that price. Lol. Yeah, I have had problems with the trade thing. First I bought my hubby a Drew Bledsoe (years ago), he got hurt and Brady took his spot. Next I bought a Teddy Bruschi , and he retired this year, and bought a Mike Vrabel and he got traded. Please, Please don't trade Wes Welker....
