My DD is a nosey little thing so I am keeping everything at the office. My boss was fine with it.

They don't go on sale but I have found a few of the animals on clearance at different times. I was thinking about getting the set of books they have now but DD says they are to easy.

I think I am going to do this, I think I know some places they would like to go eat so I am going to the cards, and one candy bar a piece. I can go ahead and get the cards now, so they will be out of the way.

I went last year on Thanksgiving day for their throws, the electric blanket, and the games (I think they were last year). It may have been the year before time goes by so fast sometimes I forget.

In Chesapeake Va they have reaaranged the babies r us to include more toys and are saying that the Toys R Us is there. They had more toys than the normal babies r us but I would still drive the distance to go to the regular one. I was hoping they would onpen one in the mall, but I guess not.

Thanks for the good idea

I use to spend more (up to 75 a piece on the kids) because I always put one nice item in their stocking but now that they are mostly grown up and married I am not sure what to do this year. Between kids, inlaws and my parents I do 15 stockings, so it would get expensive. I am thinking of doing one stocking per couple. What do you think of giving them those really tiny stockings with a gift card to eat out?? I am open to ideas too!!

I wish they carried half sizes for kids or ran larger sizes. -

I usually start when I am done buying, I like to see everyone's pile at the same time to make sure I am content and truly done.

How do you handle gifts for siblings w/ larger families

I have always kept the limit on my nieces and nephews from $25-$35. I am not sure what their limits were but I think around the same maybe a little less. However, once they hit 18 the giving stopped (my BIL's idea). -
I have had to cut back this year. Four of my older children are married and we are expecting one grandchild Dec 2. I also have a 6 year old at home. My DS age 24 lives in Reno NV. I have talked to all my older ones and their spouses and they totally understand the need to cut back, and they all agreed that I should not cut back on the 6 yr old. They all had fantastic Christmas growing up, and want the same for her. I would say follow your heart. If you don't feel right about cutting the older one back a little then don't. There will come a time you may feel the need for the change. If I could afford to do whatever I wanted I probably would.

I vow to stick to my list, and not make those extra impulsive buys (well not as many anyway!)

I have been going out BF shopping for about 15 years now. Last year was really fun. My now SIL went with me and DD (it was his first time bf shopping) and he just made it even more fun. He was great about standing in line for us, or rushing to a section to pick up a deal. We were able to get everything on the list, and he brought that newbie excitement to the hunt. He told me he is going again this year.

At least now he will be easy to shop for.

I got a family member a Garmin last year on BF. It was the one from Target.

I think last time there was coupon do you have the link for that? TIA
