  1. I did a few years back for a PSP.
  2. My six year old loves the AG dolls too, but I think I am going to get grandma to go for the Our Generation or the MiaBellas at TRU. I like the OG one at Target that has the violin and a book included. Plus the coupon book will let her get a free outfit too. I would be interested in opinions too.
  3. Thank you I need a pair of black flats.
  4. In ourChesapeake VA store I noticed two star war lego sets on clearance, they were only 15 % off though. I dont remember which sets. You might want to check.
  5. DD6 likes everything she see too. However, these are the things she keeps mentioning and showing me so I have written them down. Digital Camera (pink) Barbie with dolphins Barbie with bike Polly Pockets Scrabble Junior Paperronis puzzles A really big box of crayons Groovy girl dolls Patch the Pirate CDS Our generation Doll with book doll clothes and shoes Books I have been asking for a list from the other kids (ages 25-18) but so far I only have a few ideas. Our rule is if you put it on the list you can not buy if for yourself after Thanksgiving.
  6. I think you should do it too.
  7. If it is the same GPS Sears will price match plus an extra 10%.
  8. Sears has a Sony 4gb on BF for $249 and a 60gb for $299 They also have a Samsung SD camcorder for $149.99. Are the SD ones like the flip?? DS and DIL are expecting their first child Dec. 2. They have a flip but I heard them mentioning wanting something more. What does anyone think of these???
  9. I saw a few things at first glance, I am going to spend more time looking at it.
  10. As long as your purchases are not to hard to carry or they can be delivered why not. Would it be possible to drop things off at home if needed? You might also want to consider a small rolling duffle bag to keep your purchases in.
  11. My DD age 6 was listening to me talk about going shopping on BF and got very excited. She is my shopping buddy, and is usually with me. I told her she could not go on that day and she cried, I felt like a jerk. I had to explain that if she was with me there would be no Christmas surprises. We also agreed that she can go when she turns 10, if she is still interested.
  12. We chose not to teach our kids that Santa brought gifts, but they received the gifts from us simply because we loved them. They have never told another child in our family or any of their friends because we wanted them to respect other parents choices for their family. Some of our children are starting families and having to decide for themselves what they will teach their children.
  13. My DIL says she is going this year and she is due Dec 2.
  14. Sports Authority has had them on sale too for BF in previous years
  15. It seems to be about the same deal as buy 2 get 1 free basically, so I guess thats a good deal. So do I buy now or hope for better??? I was thinking of getting Wii's Zelda twilight princess and the Sports Resort??
  16. That was a lot of work and much appreciated. Has anyone seen those dolls on the back cover? Are they the same type of dolls that Target carries?
  17. I would want lots of things ( I don't need really and probably won't get) but here are a few. New Laptop Chanel #5 A gym membership A cake decorating class
  18. I am trying to remember but I think this will be my 14th year. Not 100% sure though
  19. If it were me I would be the one disappointed on Christmas Day that I did not do more, unless the one gift was just super special. I don't think it would help them with picking up better though. I would pick up after them and keep it. When they want something back they do an extra chore or pay for it out of their allowance, after all maid service does cost. If they don't buy it back within a certain amout of time it goes in the yard sale pile, donation pile or the trash.
  20. Snowmen and Christmas mice
  21. I usually do (did not last year) Dh and I were having problems and shopping is good therapy!! This year I am sticking to the budget, I really have to. I write everything down, and when the total is met I stop. I do allow my self a little leeway but not much. I am trying to keep it a $150 per couple for my older kids, $100 for the single one in NV and for the 6 year old I will probably do around $200 maybe more depending on the budget. The older kids all had bigger Christmas when they were little so now it is her turn.
  22. I was in Waldenbooks last night and they had some sets that included cupcake cookbook and decorating ideas, a cupcake pan, decorating bags and tips. It was in the bargin book section. They are have a sale buy two bargin books get the third free. I think this one was $9.99
  23. One thread asked us what we were getting for whom (or who??) and I thought I knew what I wanted to get DD6. Now I am not so sure. I am thinking of changing at least some of my ideas. Those might change agian too once I see the ads. Does anyone elso go back and forth with ideas?
