I think they are in the TRU Big Book. If you have the reward card you will earn money back I think. Not sure if they have any other coupons on the book that will work but it is worth checking into.

Would you be able to get a neighbor in to help you carry things? Maybe a teenager or a family member.

Codes do not work ever on Kohls cares products, even when they bring out new ones and the old ones go on clearance. This is true online and in store. -
I am only getting $5.00 in Reward bucks and when I go to their website it says available Dec 12????? Weird!!!!

I do the same TRU if needed. Do Kohls off of Sam's Circle and Battlefield.Usually end up at Greenbriar Mall as well. Last year we did the newer Target out in the Hickory area, and now Walmart is open out there too. But I have never heard of ULTA??? Clue me in please.

Maybe you could try "camping out" Let all the kiddos(including her) sleep together on the floor (sleeping bags or blankets). Try it one or two weekends to see if it works. Maybe for Christmas Eve you could have a special movies, books, games or snacks. When you leave the room I would put up a baby gate just in case she wakes up and trys to follow you.

These usually go on sale on BF. Are you looking for a particular kind or brand?

What will your kids give their teacher(s) this year?
Elmck replied to angelbabymommy's topic in 2011
The last time Target's Dollar spot went down I stocked up on Coupon holder magnets, paper clips, memo pads etc. So everyone is getting a nice little assortment. I think I spent less than $1.50 per person. For her main teacher we also got a special teacher mug (after Christmas last year) I will fill it with something. -
We are taking her to Disney August 2012. She does not know yet. We plan to tell her on her birthday in March. We will also give her a disney gift card to spend however she wants while we are there. I am super excited...she will be too. I want it to be special for her but I have grown children in the area too... I want to be with them for the holidays too. I am giving my Sunday School class a Christmas party on Dec. 9. I told her we would start are special nights then. Something fun and Christmassy(sp) so far she wants to: Have a movie night with DS and his wife at their house ...With pop corn, soda, movie candy, etc Make a paper chain to hang all around her room as well as cut out snowflakes to hang from the ceiling. Make cookies and candy with older DD and any DILs that want to do it with us. Take to either neighbors, or nurses stations or both Go out for dinner (her choice) and then ride to see lights and decorations. Make birdseed ornaments Make a holiday scrapbook (pictures of all our activities and silliness) Make cinnamon, applesauce ornaments. Fill out Christmas cards for her classmates(small Christian school) I am thinking of writing all the ideas down (have the stuff ready to do all of them) and let her draw out of a stocking one idea a day,and that is what we will do. Thanks for all the ideas so far.

We must be close to each other. Where in Chesapeake do you shop??
-
I will be in the Chesapeake, VA area. If TRU is necessary I'll also be in Norfolk, VA
-
It would probably make it harder for me, but I won't know for sure until I see the ads.

Wal-mart had a system before too. One year we did a basketball goal for my oldest DS that had to be cemented in the ground. We put the pole in the ground a week before Christmas and planned to put up the backboard and net on Christmas Eve when the kids were in bed. Of course the kids wanted to know what the pole was for. We simply told them it was a Christmas pole and we were going to decorate it for Christmas. They loved it!! On Christmas morning DS was going to the car, saw what it really was and began shouting "I need a ball" "I need a ball" Great memory for us!

I would suggest practical items , deodarants, shampoos, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, brushes, pens, rubberbands, paper clips, pencils memo pads, chap stick gum, mints, ( a lot of gum coupons out the last few weeks): If you have a harbor freight near you they have some great free coupons on things for guys stockings. I usually pick up additional items on clearance when I am there for the free stuff. Dollar tree also has some items for the car or handcleaners that could work. Adult woman, you could add flavored teas, or coffees, For next year, I would suggest the Target dollar spot when its goes 75% off, I got some of the things suggest above doing that plus measuring cups, dish cloths, books, etc. I also like the clearance at Michaels. Dollar General had Bubble Wands this morning for 10 cent a piece (my Sunday school kids will love them!!

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2011
Elmck replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Thanks I will be sure to check. I have another question too. I went in today to check the keyboard (no price drop) but while I was there I walked through toys. I found a great Toy (Fisher Price Wheelie Ramp???) anyway it was marked AS IS and priced for around $10. Now I am wondering what the difference is between clearance and AS IS. The box is in great shape and none of the cars are missing. Should I open it to be sure its all there or did I just get lucky. I ran back into Target tonight to check the keyboard and saw 3 more of the same toy at regular price. It has me a little worried. -

Thank You!! I checked the other Target close to me and they do not have any in stock. Have you tried it out by any chance? -
I can't believe that the bank sent out the Christmas club checks already. Mine came yesterday!! I put it away and will cash it closer to BF. I am still trying to save but I guess I'll have to stash in a drawer now.

Looking over DD's list I don't think I am going to have to find any "hot toys" She thinks some of them are neat but does not go on and on about them. I am going to pick a few things from her list that I know she will play with, but her biggest items (I hope) this year will be a wii and a desktop(tower is used but still sufficient for her. My boss is upgrading the computers at work and I am getting the old one!!)
