What time do they open?

This would be a good idea but...... We live in a trailer, so there is not really a room that would work except for the living room. DH is disabled and home all day. It may work out that I can "move into" my folks house for about 2 weeks before Christmas even if they are gone. (thought they were renting it) Maybe I am wrong and too stubborn but I am not willing to do this Dh's way any year. DD is use to her dad not participating but I know she is really going to miss my parents this year (she is very close to my mom) I guess I am looking for things to do and places to go. I was reading old post and saw something about the 12 days of Christmas has anyone done this? Dh is a great dad (hope I did not give the wrong impression) and husband but on celebrating Christmas and a few other things we do not agree.

.....take photos together at stores with holiday item on ie: wreathes snowman ,Santa hats on poinsettias in your hair...just clown around with it then make a memory book with all the great photos of eachother Love the photo idea because we both scrapbook.

A few years ago my DH decided to no longer participate in the family Christmas. (To long of a story) Which has meant he wants no decorating, or anything you would associate with Christmas at our house. The years since then my parents have been in town and the kids and I have spent the holidays and many days before the holiday at their house. All the older kids are married and out of the house now, but they do have great memories of family Christmas's (when DH participated and with the Grandparents) I still have DD8 at home. This year my parents will be out of the country for the holidays. I want to something this Christmas to make it extra special for her. Not sure if my parents house will be available to decorate, but my youngest son said we could stay there and do those kind of things with them. What are some things I could do this year so it will be the Christmas she says you remember the Christmas when I was 8 and we....... I did ask DH if he could go somewhere for the 2 weeks before Christmas but he just looked at me like I am crazy.

Went to a different Target this morning. Saw a few things that may be worth keeping my eye on but did not find any rugs to match the quilt. I did see (did not write down any numbers) a Dyson vacumn for 30% off, a Shark steam cleaner for 30% off, a dorm size refrigerator 30% off, different style glasses for 30-50% off, Room Essential comforter sets for 30% off and I think there is a coupon for another 20% (if it has not expired)

Yes it was the kid ones, the one I got DD is pinks and browns it has a border of brown with different color polka dots on it. Hope you find one!!!

Some of my favorite memories from last year were: My dad calling me from Walmart to tell me the latest updates and the deals he was getting. My son-in-law taking my place in line at Best Buy to get the nook and a few other things so I could go to Kohls with my DD My son being so excited to get a TV from Target for his in-laws I am sure I will remember more later.

Got the quilt and pillow sham for DD's room, for $16 something!! Very excited to get one more Christmas present done. I need to go look at rugs in the morning and see if I can find on to match for 75% off like mom2monkiesx3 found but smaller.

We bought ours a few years ago and I think we got it from Bed, Bath & Beyond, and we used the coupon for 20% off. We have a Breville and it has never given us any problems.

Went in tonight to pick up meds and found A nice wall clock 074100250 Reg $50 for $6.24. My oldest DD had told me just this morning that they did not have a clock in the house except for their cell phones. It will make a good Christmas present!

My Targets are usually slower than others in marking down, but when others post their great finds I try to stop by there on my way to or from work. Right now I want one of the kids quilts but I want it for 16. so I keep checking. Hope you find some great deals!!

I have been watching the kids bedspreads and the tickets are strange. They say originally 64.99 clearance prices 32.00(can't remember exact) but on the big cardboard thing on the bedspread it says original price 59.99. Not sure what Targets thinking, but if it goes down to 16 I still want one.

For Christmas each year my kids get: something they want something they need something to wear something to read (sometimes I fudge this one and do a puzzle or a board game instead) Thanks for sharing this idea. I am thinking of following this guide line for the grandkids. We have 6 children, 4 have spouses, one is 8 and we will have 2 grandbabies this year and another due in Feb. I know if I don't think about this now I will be overwhelmed and it will get to be to much for the budget. I only spend $75 a piece on my grown children and close to that or equal on the spouses but as the grandkids come I may have to cut back more on the grown ones.

I am so unsure!! I know I want to get this for DD for Christmas but I keep thinking a better deal might come up on BF ????? Thanks for cluing me in though!!!

Even the Dollar Tree has out some of their Christmas stuff.

Had fun in the dollar spot, with 70% off I was able to get enough stuff to make nice goodie bags for friend and teachers. I also got more stocking stuff!

DD saw the zibits at Target tonight and made sure she showed them to me. I think they look neat but I just don't think she would play with them a lot. They would also take a chunk out of the budget.

I haven't yet but I have hummed a few when I am in the car by myself!!

I am hoping to spend the same amount as last year per person, but we have a new grandbaby coming in October so I have more people to buy for..

Not sure about the prices on the soda stream, but Kohls has it in their ad starting tomorrow for $79.99 and you would get 30% off using the code making it $55.99 plus you would get $10 in Kohl's cash. The ad says the mixes will be on sale too but no price is given.

The kids bedding sets went 50% off.

Our office adopts a family through Social Services. We stopped doing gifts for birthdays and Christmas to each other (3 of us) and donate money to the "Christmas Fund instead" I just set up the envelope for donations last week. Hope you enjoy this as much as we do!!
