Every year I get excited about something I bought. I just can't remember specifics. I do remember KB Toys had a great sale on Fisher Price toys one year Does anyone else remember that sale.

I am starting to get excited. The majority of the ads come out about the time I have to be out of town!! I am taking my laptop for sure!!

I don't think I would, my kids love the fact that I got some kind of sale on the items they have asked for, but again if it was a grandbaby who wanted it I might.

I have been happy with Kohls luggage I bought the spinner set that was on sale last BF for oldest DD and her DH. With the sale the percentage off and the Kohls cash I was happy.

DD and I made one last year (I think) but it did not look like those!!

DH stopped wanting to celebrate Christmas about 9 years ago. So I only decorate DD11's room. Her and I will go to my parents house the entire week of Christmas. We help them decorate usually the week before Thanksgiving. I do buy poinsettias and those cinnamon pine cones for the house, he likes those.

We are a big group but we do not stay together. Sometimes we meet up at different stores but its not a must. We do help each other by getting items a different stores Before we leave my moms house we exchange list and money For example if I am going to Target and my family member needs just a couple of things from the ad I will try to get them. So who goes with me my mom and dad DD26, her DH, My oldest DS, My youngest DS and his DW. My DD11 started 2 years ago and loves it. My aunt if she is in town.

I have not thought about them on Thanksgiving morning!! Thank you for the suggestion!!

Just made my first gift card purchase through Raise.com hopefully this works like I am thinking. DD wants a few things from Michaels and I am trying to save as much as possible. May order more cards if this comes quickly. Anybody want to share their experiences with this web site??

My parents got a great deal on a front load washer and dryer a few BFs ago. It still runs great. this was at Sears

I honestly can not remember but I am sure it has been at least 15 years maybe more.

I plan to do both online and in store shopping this year. I enjoyed getting many items last year online and free shipping them to my family in other parts of the country. That way money was spent on them and not mailing. As far as a game plan we get the list of wants, compare those to the ads, choose what we want to get for those on our list while trying to stick to the budget. Items I can get online I will otherwise we make out the order of stores and who goes where. We also include a trip to those stores with scratch offs to get a few little extras.

I stood in a line at the Best Buy in Chesapeake waiting to check out one BF and found out that the line was not a line that went anywhere!! I don't know how I ended up in that line but my DD reminds me of it every year!!

The best deal I found was at Kohls but I wanted a thick one. They put the 3 inch one on sale and if you can get the extra 30% off I am sure I spent between 30 and 35 because we got it for DD last Christmas from my inlaws and that is the limit that they spend.

I loved the Sears gift cards to. I still go to Steinmart because of their scratch off in the ad and Sports Authority gave out Scratch offs last year too. I hope they do it again $10 is all I ever get though. I would love to be a big winner.

I am hoping to find a new easy cookie recipe to add to our collection or to replace one I already have. Share your favorite recipe please. I will do so later too, no time right now.

My DD is 11 and even though she has given me list I still don't know what I am going to get her. She has asked for a nicer camera. I am hoping for a great one in an ad, at a price I can afford. she has also asked for the prismacolor double tip markers from Michaels. They are expensive and I don't know how long the markers would last. I think I got one of my boys a weight set and a chin up bar when they were 12 and another one at 12 got a guitar.

A few years ago I began getting DD11 a Disney Christmas Ornament, I do it for my granddaughters too. We like going to see the lights in different neighborhoods, make cookies together, go to a live Nativity, decorate her room with snowflakes, wrap her pictures in Christmas paper, a tree in her room, a paper chain etc...
