We decided to try something new this year. We are having Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday night at 6:30. For us it made the sense. Most of my adult children are married and have to either miss being with us or alternate or leave early if we do it on Thursday. I want the family together if possible (some live out of state) By doing on Wednesday everyone can come even some of my cousins can make it with the change. I am excited to see how it works out. My DIL asked if she could still come over Thursday to go through the ads and have leftovers. I love my family!!! Enjoy yours and your BT or BF traditions I hope you get great deals!!!!

I did not want to spend a lot on headphones for DD12, so I went with Skullcandy over the ear (her preference) I found a pair 1/2 price on BestBuy.com and picked them up at the store. They received good reviews.

I like the loom kit for DD12 she is very much into crafts and I have been thinking she would like a knitting loom

They usually have a very good discount for the active and retired military this time of year 40% off on all tools not on sale and 10% off all tools on sale.

I always go with a family member. The last two years it has been my DD12 and by DS30 We have about 12 going out shopping so we do divide up a lot but no one goes alone.

I think I started about the same time, before that all I heard was how crazy it was but there was something one of the kids wanted at a great deal and I decided to try. I was off and on after that year until my DD was old enough to go with me and we have not missed a year since.

I have to stick pretty close because the extra is just not there. I keep a running list of what I have bought for each person. 3 of the grand kids are done, a few partly done and a couple with nothing..... but I have the money saved for each one. I al..so try to think birthdays while I am looking at the ads but that's a different budget.

Made some items cheaper than BF.

One of my favorites is family sitting all over the house, going through the ads 1 final time before we divide and conquer. We always pack a few ham rolls and fill the thermoses to take with us.

DH has the mini and loves it. Uses both k cups and reusable refill cups. He does't mind filling each time. Parents have one with a reservoir and love it too. I was looking at a newer model but it would not take the refillable cups.
