I did, I saw the VS ad but not hot topic. Just hoping someones been there on BF and can give me a hint of what they normally do. And for VS Im wondering how bad the crowds are there?? Have you been??

I have been to the major retailers but have never done the smaller mall stores. DD13 likes a few things at Hot Topic and I am wondering if I should buy now or wait for a better sale?? She also likes Victoria Secret and would be thrilled if I could get her a pair of sweat pants and a top Is that a store I want to try to go in on BF?

If I am counting right there are only 10 weekends between now and BF. Except for online shopping I am usually only out in the stores on Saturday to shop. I am excited about finding some bargains this year and can't wait for the ads to leak.

I plan on getting the second controller I now new 3 systems. I can hope.

DD wants some too I got her a pair this past weekend at Office Max, I had rewards that needed to be used so they ended up being free.

I have very sweet DILS but they are harder to buy for that my DDs or maybe I am just not as sure of myself when buying for them.

Sometimes I like to know exactly what my older adult children want or need as well as their spouses. I try to save some of the budget for those things (not everything on the list) and throughout the year I pick up deals I think they will like or may have mentioned wanting or liking. The grandchildren (10) are all under 6 so they are easier to find deals for, but I always ask so I know what they are into and want. I do not want to be that relative or MIL that always gives the wrong thing. How about you?

Does anyone thing the mini Nintendo is going to be a hot item? It gets released in November and I think my brother (27) and oldest son (32) would like it. Not seeing a place I can pre order though.

I started BF shopping when my now adult children were smaller. We needed to stretch the budget, in order to make sure all 5 had things under the tree. Back then I was out by myself. As my family got older they got involved with me and grew to love shopping the deals that day. I still have number 6 at home and we go out shopping together now. It has changed so much over the last few years. I now do a majority of my shopping online but I still go out with my DD and my other adult children are usually out there too. My oldest DD and I still remember being in line at KBToys for the great Fisher Price deals for her little sister.

I've done about 30% of my shopping, I hit the Target toy sale for the grandkids, and also got a few Kindles on prime day. DD13 wants to redo her room so I have been using the 10 off 10 and 10 off 25 at JC Pennys and found an oops paint color she wanted at Walmart. Like the rest mostly clearance or deals I don't think I'll beat.

Mom and I were checking out the toy clearance in our area, and found a Lego set my nephew wants marked 30% off. when we got it to the register it was 70% off I was shocked but thrilled!! other items I wanted still scanned 30% off so I'll wait. thanks for the heads up on bedding I'll have to go back and look!!

We go to 2 nursing homes every month as a ministry through our church and so I try to take gifts in to help make sure they all get presents. This year we bought throws. I dropped them off yesterday.

I have pretty much finished my shopping. Very excited about all I got ( to many family members on here to list details) I have had great success with Walmart.com, Kohls.com, Target.com and Amazon.com. I was up at 2:45 AM Eastern time waiting for prices to change. So far I have tracking for everything and some already delivered. Did great in stores too. I went to JC Penny, Sears, Target, Office Depot, Steinmart, Toys r Us, and Michaels (I won the $20 gift card at Michaels ) Favorite store: Sports Authority I got some great deals and the workers were super helpful and friendly Worst online experience was Kmart.com the said they canceled my order at my request.... I never requested it???? Not the best year for bargains, but my family will have a very nice Christmas and I am very close to budget!!

First order went great, second order I wanted to ship to my son in Washington state not so so great. I only wanted 2 items and the shipping was outrageous, and I could not find a free shipping code. Kohls should offer free shipping to kohls charge customers this time of year.

I believe they have a 20%off code that will still be good on Sunday as well, I left my mailer at my moms or I would share.

If you have a partner to shop with at Kohls it works well. We have one person in line and the rest of us (1 or 2) find the wanted items and bring them to the one in line. Everyone gets what they want and we are usually at the front of the one by the time we are done shopping.
