  1. I have a Duracell one that I think I got at WM and it works great. Charges up to 4 batteries. There is a little LED for each battery and while it is charging it is red, but when it is done the light turns green. Also does it very fast. I got it as a package with the charger and 4 batteries. But I have charged other makes of rechargable batteries in it and it does fine. It charges both AA and AAA, plus you can charge both NiMH and NiCd with it.
  2. I have had big time, major problems with BB lately, and not just on BF (we didn't even go there). I bought a Nikon D70 camera from them and got the extended warranty. After having to send it in the second time (I think the software I upgraded from Nikon's site screwed it up), it came back missing the lens cap! I called BB and they said I had to call the repair company. Called them and they said it was BB's problem because they didn't put it on the slip that it had a lens cap (excuse me......but who the heck sends away a $1300 camera without a lens cap!!). I spent the next THREE weeks trying to get BB to replace my lens cap. Kept telling them that I wanted my Nikon lens cap, not some cheap replacement! After going through about 5 different manager type people, they said they got one. I asked if it was a Nikon and they said yet. Well, you guessed it......a totally cheap replacement!! When I called for about the 10th time, I was told that they couldn't get a new one from Nikon, that Nikon didn't sell them, plus they said that the repair place totally refused to help them. I told them this wasn't over and hung up. I then emailed CS at the repair place and told them what I thought of their customer service that someone absolutely refused to even look for my lens cap. I then called the place and got another CS rep that checked and told me that they had found the cap and was sending it to me! All it took was a well placed email to the CS manager. About a week later I looked on Nikon's website and guess what.......you can order the lens cap directly from them. So BB basically lied twice to me (about Nikon and about the repair company), sent me some cheap thing I didn't want and then lied to cover up the fact that they were too lazy to actually check on it!! Oh.........and they lied about their extended warranty, too. Told me that once a year I could get a new battery just by calling the 800 number. I tried that and was told that I had to first take it to the store (an hour away), have someone look at it and pronounce the battery dead, give me an order number and THEN I had to call back and get it ordered!! I hate liars!!!!!!!
  3. Yep, I get all mine at Ticketmaster.com. When we went to England we got fantastic seats for Phantom and at a decent rate. Almost center of the very first row! I just ordered tix for Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Pittsburgh this month. Unfortunately I have found that some of the other online tix sales buy up the really great seats and then scalp them for huge amounts! Stub Hub wanted over $100 for the same concert and the seats weren't that much better. In fact ours will probably be better because we are in an elevated area, where they are flat on the floor with no elevation to see over people's heads. I paid 42.50 each (plus big taxes, but that's City of Pittsburgh's and Mellon Arena's fault, not Ticketmaster)
  4. Any other coupons like this out here? This one worked yesterday, but I decided to wait until today and now it won't work. Guessing that expires at midnight of the beginning of the day instead of midnight the end of it???? Really fries my buns big time! I wanted to buy DH the same portable DVD, but I really would like a coupon for it.
  5. We have the same problem Split level house! We wait for DD to come home from college and then DH and DD climb up on the roof and do them! Not me, though, I'm terrified of heights!
  6. We went to Staples last year. Got there about 15 min ahead of time thinking everyone would be at WalMart. The line was around the store! No tickets, but everybody was well behaved. It was a single line into the door and then wove past a bunch of tables set up at the front with all the specials. Then you go into the rest of the store. I strongly recommend you pick up anything you MIGHT want and then put it back later if you decide you don't want it. All the specials really flew out at the one I was at.
