  1. I would hope they will order it for me, but the add does say 'no rainchecks'...any advice on convincing them to let me order it?
  2. Help with Circuit City... I am looking for the 46 inch Aquos, and the CC website says that the one advertised is not in stock at the CC around here??? is this legal? it is in the ad and they don't have any...of course the ad does not have a min. number... but still. Anyone have any advice on this?? tia
  3. I was looking at the Aquos 46 at CC, I don't see a minimum number available? Anyone know how many items they usually have?

I have had OK success with BB having the numbers of items listed in the ads, but usually ONLY that many. 3 years ago they did not have any of the camcorder that was advertised, my wife waited at the counter with our ticket in hand and they explained that they didn't have any to the guy in front of her, he said ok and started to walk away.... he paused as my wife explained to the employee that since they did have the camera advertised they would be giving her the next model up for the sale price.... and they did, and the other guy got one too.... Dont hesitate to be persistent, and tell them what you want.
  5. Apple is having a BF sale tomorrow at both the stores and online. No info on what will be on sale yet, but might be worth a look. As was said above, Apple controls prices pretty tightly....
  6. My Wii died after about 3 hours of playing it....so sad. My wife was playing and it just turned off and would not turn back on. Luckily I was able to test with another AC adapter to confirm that was the problem. 2 Notes: 1. I first called gamestop, there response was that if I did not buy the extended warranty from them then they can't help and I cannot return it..... 2. I then called Nintendo, it took a few tries to get through to a person, the first few times it just said all reps were busy and to try later. Once I got the rep on the phone he was totally helpful, and offered me 3 chooses: 1. they will overnight a new AC adapter 2. they will overnight a new Wii, just the console 3. they will send a return label and I send in the whole thing for free repair. I choose option 1, he said it will take a day or two to be shipped, but it will be mailed overnight. That was yesterday so I don't have it yet, but I was happy with Nintendo's customer service...and disappointed by Gamestop.
  7. This was definately not a loss leader, 3 for $20 is good but not great...they were all somewhat old movies no new releases... but it still just tiring, I need to find a circuit city near by.
  8. OK, So they messed up BF for many of us and screwed some of us out of laptops.... Here is better, in todays ad they have a list of movies that are 3 for $20, I went to the store this AM at 10:15 (they open at 10), and almost none of the movies listed were available, 3 that I wanted were definately not. I asked an employee for help, they check the computer and said they didn't have any and don't plan getting any. I asked if they sold out of there stock and she said 'no' they just don't have any. To make matters better, I came home and orded the same 3 movies from their website got a confirm at 11:39 and then at 12:50 got another email saying my order was canceled because they don't have the movies in stock... Am I wrong to be getting seriously annoyed? I admit that the add did not state a promised minimum # per store...but come on none?
