With the change to online deals instead of in-store Black Friday deals (except for Menards!) I have earned the "you are nuts" award from my friends. My ex has the kids Wednesday evening through Black Friday every year, so I honestly get up for every BF online deal, buy what I need, then nap until the next hour's deals begin. So, I'm up at midnight for one store, 1am for the next, and so forth.

I'm all about the speed. I'm the most impatient person on the planet. I'm also not into specs - but is it true there is now an i9 processor? Also, is there a way to compare processors? I'm a big fan of the i7 for speed - but all of the other brands' numbers and letters have me so confused. Help?

It's September?!?!?! Crazy. For me, this is "canning weekend." I canned a boatload of sweet corn and 10 pints of salsa yesterday. Today will be more corn and spaghetti sauce. Thank heavens the weather has been cool this year. Happy September, everyone! Who wants to wager the first Christmas display at Walmart will be out by mid-September? lol.

Anyone else have a kid starting college? My eldest son leaves tomorrow and I'm sooooooooo sad and excited and a mixed up jumble of emotions!
