It's going to be 70 degrees today in Wisconsin. WOOT! WOOT!!!

By me it's easier to go to a landscaping business and buy it by the truckload. Our yard is too soggy yet, though. We still had a dusting of snow when I woke up this morning. I want "real" spring!

Kohls - the inexpensive appliances (after rebate). With my kids getting older these have been GREAT for dorms and/or moving off campus. Menards - someone said the sausage and I cannot agree more! They have THE BEST Black Friday deals. I also love that they have Christmas music blaring while the crowds wait for the doors to open at 6am. Very festive.

This goes back some years... My favorite deals were from shopping online on the day before Thanksgiving - when I learned from Gottadeal that most of the sale items were available online already. My family was astounded and I was one happy mom when I scored tons of toy deals at ToysRUs.com back in the day.

Happy September! I'm beginning my 24th year as a school counselor. That means I'm getting OLD!

Happy August, everyone! I've been busy canning like crazy. Jam, green beans, pickles are done. Corn over the next couple of weeks, then salsa. I love it!

Well, Back to School sales are in full swing (school doesn't start in WI until September 1st) and at my latest trip to Sam's Club, they already had Halloween costumes and candy out. I wasn't quite ready for THAT!
