Does anyone have a recommendation on a large tv (55" - 65" inch) that has good picture but is NOT a "smart" tv? I want to buy a new tv for my dad, who lives in the boonies and can't get internet. Thank you in advance!

It's November! Time to do some serious prep for Black Friday! Those November 1st sales took me by surprise....those stinkers!

The cheap small kitchen appliances from Kohl's. The ones that are free after the pre-paid gift cards you have to mail in for. Great for gifts, college students, or in my case, giving out to low income families when they need something. I'm also a big fan of the 10% off gift cards at Target!

33 inches of snow a week ago, and now it's only snowbanks. Crazy Wisconsin weather. BRING ON SPRING!

Sitting at home in a Winter Storm Warning. Up to a foot of the white crap. I love all of the seasons, but snow in April is just wrong wrong wrong!!!!!

It's nearing the end of March. WHOOO HOOOO! This girl is ready for some spring weather!

It's March!!!! Here in Wisconsin I am very thankful that the days are getting longer and that I can actually drive to work in daylight again.
