I got my DD6 (at the time) one last year for around $13 but I tell you,she has slept on that thing every single night since Christmas! She wanted the panda one and named it Po. She only uses it as a Pillow and never as a Pet but it has held up very well and launders like a dream.

Still, a great deal and I'm sure she'll be thrilled come Christmas morning :)

I have the toothpaste and cereal ones and am hoping to put together enough to have most of them be MM. It's going to cost me a fortune that day but the ECBs will come in handy later!

I don't know if this will be on sale BF or ever,but thought it was interesting: you know the cordial cherries (Queen Anne's chocolate covered cherries)? I see where they have milk chocolate chocolate covered BLUEBERRIES! I will have to get them just to try :) They were on the very top shelf at my local Wags today. They are in a blue box.

That was awesome-thanks for sharing! I noticed Patty Duke in the first commercial and the other Remco ones. I was born in '62 so several of the toys were unfamiliar to me but wow-so gender specific! Dolls for girls and guns/rockets/military/robots for boys. They had all the fun lol! Cool story about Chris Knight :) I have to honestly say that I don't remember any of the commercials (just the toys) because I just didn't watch much tv. Since there were so few toy choices anyway, if you didn't have the toy,your cousin or best friend or neighbor surely did!

I know! I was trying to do the math in my head and was all It was so easy to figure out at 75%! Now I'm wondering if it'll go to 90% even.

How about the stores that are open 24/7/364 or 5? I can't even think of very many stores in my area that aren't open around the clock. I just can't even imagine Meijer not selling any of their awesome Thanksgiving deals just because it's the last Thursday in November. It's kind of like the Field of Dreams of Retailing:"If you sell it;they'll buy it" A kind of Darwinistic way of looking at it (whether morally right or wrong) but if the market supports it, it's going to happen. I know in my area that if you work at one of the 24 hour stores,it's a given you will work at least part of a major holiday. I worked in a restaurant every Thanksgiving Day for years and we were always busy. Right or wrong,it's just part of the service industry.

I got a Droid X Global in June and admit I have very few ideas on the real capabilities of this smartphone. I have the Gottadeal app of course and the bar code scanner but which ones would be good for shopping this year? If anyone has a Must-Have App they use (and how they use it) or any and all tips for getting the most out of my smartphone this season,I'd appreciate the info. Surely I'm not the only Smartphone Newb!

I think our KMart is open all day on Thanksgiving. I know I've stopped there after my annual T'giving trip to Meijer. I even went to Sears last T'giving. Picked up some electric blankets for $15 iirc.
