Maybe $200 - $400 depending on what I'm buying. If I'm not getting a "big" item then it's on the low end.

Normally DH and I go but this year might be hard as we have no one to watch the kids unless I can talk my brother into coming over at o'dark thirty.

They are great. My DH ordered a mickey tree topper for me. I recieved it today but it was broken. I called and they are sending me a new one. No hassle and no sending the broken one back. I was very happy with them.

Yes they go back on the shelf in the regular spot.

I work at one south of the cities. I haven't heard anything along those lines. I do know we have two more sale ads coming out before Christmas but no clue on what's in them. Sorry.

I work part time at Walmart and we are not allowed to shop before the sale. In fact I was in line at 3 am for the blitz items. The only advantage I get from working there is knowing exactly how many of things we have and about where they will be. I see both sides of this. There is a part of me that would love to be able to shop early but I see how that's not fair to the customers. As for cranky customers, BF doesn't compare to Christmas Eve in the toy department. That night is hell.

We had a truck too but our overnight people unloaded it because they knew blitz items were on it. Our store had everything that was in the ad including secret items. There were limited quanities on some things but we had everything in the store. In fact we still have bratz dolls, cabbage patch dolls, spongebob/dora tv's, gameboy micros, movies, doodle bears, and thomas sets. The only things that sold out fast in our store was the tv's, idogs, camaras, dvd recorders, and mp3 players.

Not having layaway may have hurt Walmart but you have to understand that the sales of those items doesn't get taken into account until after the layaway is picked up. In other words, Wal-Mart doesn't get credit for those sales until the layaway is paid off.

I had a very good Walmart experience. I got the 52" tv and everything else I wanted. I price matched alot from other stores and only had to stand in line for two hours. I'll take that any day over spending my entire Thanksgiving in line.

I just have to ask.....doesn't Best Buy and the others have limited quanities on the most popular items? Why would you complain about it only with Walmart? I agree they secret items sucked but that doesn't mean I'm going to go bashing Walmart. The only items my walmart had limited supply one was tv's. We still have just about everything else in our store now for the sale price.

The return for credit boxes are called break packs. They contain misc stock that needs to be sorted by department. They aren't meant for things to send back. They say return for credit because we send the empty boxes back to be reused.

I picked up 3 IDogs (for other people), it doesn't say anything on there about having 12 songs. It's just says what the other ones say about hooking it up to you MP3 player. It has the plug included so you can hook it up.

I bought the Durabrand one the other night. Yes it is removable. I haven't used it yet but I've never had a problem with the Durabrand products.

I looked on the wire on Monday night and didn't find anything in the Blitz Playbook that wasn't in the ad posted here. Perhaps tonight when I go in they will have something.

Took mine out yesterday morning......he is now taking up over half the top shelf in my fridge.

The Idogs are in toys normally but every store is different on where they put things on Black Friday. You should get a map when you enter the store on Friday. Stock is another thing that varies by store.

I was told today by a manager that Wal-Mart will have the 8 items previewed in commericals starting Wednesday. No clue on time frame or anything else.

I got mine yesterday.

About two years ago I put ours up the weekend before Thanksgiving because my sister and her family were coming to visit. We did Christmas and Thanksgiving together. I will probably put mine up next weekend.

If you buy something online you can return it to the store even if they don't carry it but make sure you have your receipt for it. Also remember when it comes to dvds and games, once you open them you can only exchange them for the exact same item. That is the copyright law not Wal -Mart. I can't tell you how many times someone has brought me a movie or game to exchange just because they didn't like it. Once it's opened, unless it's defective, it's yours so please remember to research things before buying them.

I agree they shouldn't have lied to you but please keep in mind that if the register rejects the sale, the cashiers can't override that. Even management can't override it. They should have pulled them all off the shelf, that was poor management by them.

Mine too except I have to leave him some spending money for work. He does have a pretty good idea how much I spend but never quesitions it.
