Yes, I am the same way because my birthday is Christmas Eve. My DH sister's bday is also Christmas Eve so he never got away from it, lol. I do not fill my stocking though. I would still like to be surprised by whats in it, but my dh isnt too good at that either. One year he forgot to buy stocking stuffers after the stores had already closed and went over to his mom's house for stuff. I woke up on Christmas Day with a stocking full of sugar-free candy, which my MIL collected for her friends that are diabetics, lol.

I shopped Justice last year and the entire store was B1G1 free!! My MIL was with me and does an angel tree and got a lot of things also. It was the longest line I stood in, for about an hour. I hope they have it again this year!

I did back in 2006. I was 34 weeks pg and DS was born at 36 weeks. Was walking into Fred's and I fell. There was nothing on the ground, no curb or anything and there was 3 ladies walking in with me and they all helped me up. I felt so dumb. I think i fell cuz my feet were so swollen at the time and i tried to wear my tennis shoes cuz they were the only things that fit me, but i could barely fit my feet in them. so if you go, wear good-fitting shoes and make sure you have water and a snack. You will need them, especially being pg.

I 2nd the LL Bean. I bought my dD one last year when she started Kindergarten and she is using it again this year and will for many more years. So far it looks brand new and i have washed and dried it recently with her starting school yesterday. My DH has a Jansport that he has had since the 10th grade... he is now 31 and still uses it! He carries his work laptop, papers, folders, extra set of clothes for when he plays basketball at his lunch. That backpack his been everywhere and in all kinds of conditions and still has not 1 hole in it, the straps arent worn, nothing is tearing.

I have NEVER been to TRU on Bf for 2 reasons....1). It's TRU and 2). It's Black Friday.... put them together and you have a MADHOUSE.

I am going to try and get one at my local target today since this is the ONLY thing my DD is asking for for her bday/xmas(they are 1 month apart). She even said she would skip a bday party this year if she could have a DS, lol.

ok i have a dumb question. I know nothing about computers/electronics, i leave that up to DH. Anyways, in the "frequently bought together" section a little bit down on teh page, it has a Flash memory card. What would that be used for on this computer? I know its a dumb question and I do have one of them cards, but its on my camera and i just use it for pics. Thanks!

I am wanting to purchase something like this for my neice and nephew for christmas. This will be their only gift from us this xmas as it is a pain to send things to them(they line in Alaska). Would this be ok for them to listen to music, download it, do basic homework papers(the dont have much) and play on kid websites?

We had to replace our a/c unit last summer. We had been gone for a whole weekend and left the air turned up to 78 but when i walked in the house when we got back, it was soooo warm. I looked at the thermostat and it was 88 in the house! So needless to say, we had to replace it and it cost $2,300 for a whole new unit, including all labor. It was a Carrier brand.
