does anyone know if the in-store sales will be better? I am heading to the mall for the first time for BF and was hoping they would have something good in-store.

I gave each my niece and nephew $50 for their bday. my nephew was getting a Wii from his parents, so i got him the backpack to put it in, so he could take it over to friends house. I taped together 50 $1 bills, end to end and had a littile piece poking out the top. so when he opened it, he just kept pulling out the money, lol. I did the same concept with my niece except i used a purse shaped like a pomeranian, like the dog she has now.

I didnt see the place for the Nintendo DS. Is that going to be back in electronics?

for those of you with Nascar fans, I was in Dollar General the other day and they had Dale Jr wrapping paper in the new #88 green. My nephew loves Dale jr and I will be wrapping his stuff in this. They had other drivers as well, but I wasnt interested in them, lol.

I LOVE Birch Run! I use to go there all the time. There use to be a restaurant across from the stores called Tony's. Is it still there? It gives HUGE portions of food.... think of the show Man vs. Food, thats how much they give you, lol.

I just came back from walmart and mine had both of these, the single dvd and the 2 pack for the same price as online. They had them located right near the entryway as i walked in. HTH!

I think that best buy has one in their BF ad that is like $1,000 off and selling for $1,399. I need a new fridge too as ours gave out last week. I bought a used one from a friend of my sister's for $65, so i want to make an educated purchase. but all the major refrigerators dealers seem to have one in their ad. I seen one in Best buy, Home depot and sears.

here is one listed for $39.90 for the 2 inch. I am not sure on the website, i have never seen it before. maybe someone can take a look?

I am going to try just cash this year and see how that goes. On 2nd thought.... better bring my debit card just in case, lol.

just did a quick scan of the ad and i DEFINITELY have to get the DS games for $9.99. I am still undecided on the DS or the DSi, which they have in a bundle package, for my DD. some good deals, depending on what you need.

I think it is the economy. I think the ones with the ads out know of the past year or 2 with the economy and they want people to see their ad earlier than others. They want to generate excitement about the ad, store, etc. Congrats to Brad and everyone else who is behind Gottadeal! You all deserve it!

I used the same thing last year! I was also afraid of the big, heavy stocking holders falling on them and with most fireplaces, you have a ledge, smooth part then the actual fireplace. I bought the 3M hooks and placed them on the smooth part, right under the ledge and worked great! I will do that again this year.
