  3. I was wondering if this one is a good one? I am thinking about it as a santa gift for my dd who will be 8. she will go on educational websites and play games, for the most part. http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod1990115&navAction=push
  4. my inlaws are usually in town for thanksgiving and since my FIL is up at the crack of dawn, he usually goes and gets 2.... 1 for me and my MIL to look at and one for the men, lol.
  5. I am not sure. It might be 1 per email address as I voted the other day and I am unable to vote again. Thanks for voting!
  6. Great question as my daughter will be 8 on November 28 and is asking for an ipod touch or her bday.
  7. I work at Target and they have Justin Bieber silly bandz.
  8. I like to look at www.sophiasstyle.com for dresses. They have all types of communion dresses(look under "special occassion" at the top) and at all price points.
  9. The winner selected by the magazine wins $500 and weekly winners selected by viewers win $100 by pressing "like" on her picture. I am not sure if you have to set up an acct or can just view the pics. Thanks! http://www.parents.com/photos/photo-contests-1/halloween-costumes-2010/2465900001/
  10. 2 years ago, the whole store was b1g1 free. Last year it was 40% off the whole store, which they run all the time. I hope they bring back the b1g1.
  11. I love the reaction of the employee from Urban Outfitters and how the people in line at the AZ Best Buy are in t shirts, lol.
  12. would you mind sharing what you ordered? I am also thinking of teacher gifts.
  13. Thanks for the code! I dropped a not-so-subtle hint to dh that I wouldnt mind this for my bday(dec. 24) http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=29916&vid=8&pid=783449&scid=783449022 in green. LOVE IT!!
  14. Having 3 kids, I wouldn't take mine with me, even my oldest who is almost 8. For one, I wouldn't want her to see what I am buying and the other being that I know I wouldnt be able to keep an eye on her the whole time while I am looking for what I need. I would be afraid someone would take her. I try not to pass judgement on those who I see with young kids out cuz you never do really know if they just didnt have someone to watch them. They could be like me, here all alone with no family to watch them and friends who think you are crazy to go out so early. I am thankful that my dh gets that day off from work and can watch the kids. The saddest thing I seen last year was a girl who must have been 7 or 8 and was checking out with her mom. The girl started throwing up and her mom was holding open the little girls coat to puke in. I felt so bad for her. I was about 6 people away from them and the 5 others in front of me were so grossed out by it, they left the line and I ended up being next to check out. I did ask the mom if she needed help and she said no but did ask why I am still standing there, the others had left. I told her I had 3 kids, nothing grosses me out anymore, lol. She laughed.
  15. and these aren't available in plus size because................ ugh. so frustrating.
  16. my kids' teachers usually give out goody bags of some sort, depending on the holiday. I asked 1 male teacher at my dd's elementary school what he gives out for the holidays(it was around christmas time) and he said a 2 week vacation from school, lol.
  17. I have been pg on BF twice before.... once with my dd and with my ds. Just make sure to bring a snack and possibly a drink that will be able to fit in your purse. I was 34 weeks pg with my DS and was walking into Fred's and fell, right there before the doorway, lol. so be careful. I would think most people will be courteous to a pg person.
  18. I am waiting cuz I have no idea what to get my boys. My DD who is 7 has already begun asking, lol. so far on her list is a ipod touch and a north face jacket..... I don't think she will be getting the ipod touch but we do plan on getting her a netbook and she doesnt know about that.
  19. Alabama's tax free weekend is this weekend and i went last year and it is a mini-BF, lol. The lines are long, the traffic is crazy and I love it! Although I am working my PT job at Target this weekend, I am sure I will be busy. Our county is 8% sales tax and I told my DH that I wasn't going out since to me it's not worth saving $2-$4 but I might pick up my daughter some things this weekend on my 15 minute breaks and I have been eyeing up a pair of really cute hiking shoes, lol. Jefferson County, which is north of me, does not participate in a tax free weekend and their sales tax is 10 percent, so those people just drive down here, lol.
  20. I'm sorry, yes i was referring to calling the store ahead of time. I'm sorry i didn't include the original question in my post, i haven't been on much since the new layout/look to the forums. I would say if you aren't sure your store goes and actually looks for an item for you, it never hurts to ask.
  21. I work at Target and this is the protocol for our store. We have people drive for more than an hour to our store and we are always told to either look the item up in our PDA and then transfer the call to the team member in that dept or transfer it first thing.
  22. Someone keep your eyes open for this sale soon. I went to my local ON yesterday and the clearance in ALL departments is jam packed full. I hope it goes on sale soon, I could really do some damage, lol.
