i know it seems sad and i keep thinking why they would stand in line for so long.... but it goe me thinking.... what if the deal they are waiting for is the ONE thing they have been saving for all year long? what if its the only gift they can give their family this year, due to finances and other reasons. while getting in line now seems crazy, i can see a person doing it for a good reason.

i went to BBW last night and they had classic fragrances 7 for $35 and you get one free with your purchase of 7. I looked and dont see this on their website.

the model thats the todays special value from QVC is on eazys pay today, but they are selling it for $299. the same model, i think, on amazon.com is $200, for the red color.

i called a friend this morning to tell her about the sale and she said that she was there a couple days ago and the sale is suppose to last until 11/30. anyways, i went there this morning and got $150.00 of stuff for $65! I got the sheets from amazon for something like $65 for the 1,000 count sheets.... if you do a search for them, i think they are still that price. the down blanket i got off QVC. I got it a month or so ago and its sooooo soft, I am kicking myself for not getting myself one, lol.

this year, my dh and i are giving my inlaws a down blanket and 1,000 thread count sheets. they just have the basic and would never buy themselves any of those.

yup, same here. its one of my favorite things to do, make cookies with the kids. my dd is the worst though, she usually eats more dough than she should, lol.

My birthday is December 24th and so is my SIL, i am just 1 year older than her. I have always received birthday gifts wrapped in xmas paper and my MIL buys me christmas decorations for my birthday..... just gives them to me a couple weeks early so i can decorate with them. as a kid, we would receive 6 gifts for xmas and 3 of mine would be counted as for my birthday, yet all wrapped in holiday paper. I am going to be 29 this year so as i have gotten older, it doesnt bother me as much, but sometimes i wish i had a birthday that didnt fall around a major holiday. my DD was born on thanksgiving day, 2002(november 28th). this year her bday is on BF and my DS was born on december 7th, so this time of year is very hectic for us not only with the holidays but with birthdays as well. My DD had her party yesterday even though her birthday isnt for a couple weeks yet and for DS we will do something small at the house and take in the christmas parade downtown as he will only be 2 this year.

yup! I buy the solid color turtle necks, long sleeve t-shirts and short sleeved shirts mainly from Target and then i can buy he more dressier clothes from Justice, Gap, Kohls and Gymboree. my DS's are fairly young still so i buy their things from walmart or target, although if i see something on sale really cheap at Gap or Gymboree, i will pick it up.

Ia m really liking the Lowes ad! they have some nice prices on things. I will definitely be stopping there!

i tend to buy all the basics(t shirts, long sleeve shirts, jeans) from target or walmart and then the cuter things from Justice(for my DD) and target for my DS's. I am glad i only have 1 DD as she likes to shop in Justice and it can be expensive but we mostly buy from the clearance section. she is starting to really like the girly-looking things.

i decorated #1 since that reminds me of the house i would like to have someday, lol.

i was going to post this the other day but i didnt know if i was crazy or not, lol. but mine was about poptarts go caroling and they are being eaten one by one. the poptarts are wearing santa hats and at the end of the commercial they even say something like "in christmas colors" or "red and green sprinkles". I cant remember off hand, but it had a christmas reference to it.

yes i have noticed this at target as well. very stocked full of board games, smart cycles, and toys in general. havent noticed it so much at walmart.
