ours is clearancing out summer stuff big time now, and is also starting with the winter too. I bought my nephew 9 sleeveless shirts today of all colors for 50 cents each! i have also noticed that the winter stuff is coming down in price. an outfit i bought him for xmas was originally 7.88 and its now 4.97. I have also noticed they are starting to come out with spring stuff. White, pink, yellow t shirts and pastel outfits.

I always buy my wrapping paper, cards, ornaments, things like that on the day after. I also try and pick up gifts for upcoming birthdays and I am also in a wedding this spring, so gifts for the shower would be nice too. though i was in my local walmart yesterday and i was thinking by the time DAC comes, its going to be slim pickings, its already thinned out.

the church where my dd goes to preschool at is having a christmas eve mass at 5:30. I would love to go, even if its my birthday. that said, my inalws will be here that day and while I know my MIL would go with me, my FIL wont, i think the walls would collapse if he stepped in. I might go and leave him at home.

do you think anymore stores are going to have BIG sales coming this week? Like kohls is having their "big one" and then the compusa sale going on sunday... do you think stores are done? this is the last FULL weekend before christmas, which got me to thinking if any other stores will come out with one last sale before next sunday.

ok so if compusa opens at 8, how early do you think i will have to be there if i want to get a laptop? my nearest one if about 20 miles away.

i picked mine up yesterday afternoon. there was only 1 other person in front of me, i think i waited like 15 minutes, not bad. in the next few days, it will b a mad house.

i do a lot of shopping the day after. I buy bath stuff, wrapping paper, ribbon, anything thats half off that i might want, lol.

I am going nuts, thinking what am i going to get dd for xmas. her bday was nov. 28th and she got most of the things that i was going to get her from xmas(from other people, without me telling them). I am at a loss. them are some great deals you found! I went into Belk about a month ago, this is a new store to me since moving to Alabama(none of these where I lived in Missouri). It reminded me of a Jones Store or Dillards, kinda. and of course the one thing i wanted from there, they didnt have so i havent been back since. Glad you got some awesome deals!

i am... i THOUGHT i was done. I actually am, but i keep finding things that would "be so perfect for so-and-so". all i have left is for dh... jeans, drill bit set, cd holder to go with the new in-dash cd player i bought him, and then some things for our daughter.... the funny thing is, everyone in our family(inlaws, nieces, nephews) are all done except our daughter. this was interesting to me.

yesterday we did the family day thing: lunch, out to a few stores. when we got to the Galleria Mall(supposedly the biggest mall in Alabama), it was a mess. thankfully we were going to a store across the street from it so we didnt have to wait in traffic that was backed up beyond the off-ramp to the mall. the weird thing we seen was cops, who had someone who runs the stoplights(electric company maybe??) and the main cop standing in the middle of the road, directing traffic, were talking back and forth with walkie talkies and the guy at the light box would flip the switches so the light would change faster and get the traffic to clear. dh thought it was funny and i told him it will probably be like that up until christmas.... along with all the other dh's who wait til xmas eve to shop for their wives. anyone else seeing crazy or interesting things this close to christmas?

i HATE rebates! so can you buy additional RAM and a larger hard drive or something for it? i know i might sound dumb in asking but i really have no idea and since i am trying to keep it a surprise, i really cant go ask my dh, lol. and did i mention that i hate rebates???? lol.

ok since i know NOTHING about specs on a computer or anything, is this a good laptop for the price? I would like one for dh and he would be using it for online schooling and homework and for out of town business trips... anyone know? thanks!
