What has broken so far?
debbieshops2003 replied to thewilfords's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
So far a Pixos system I bought my niece. And Chat Nows (a Walkie Talkie like texting cell phone toy). We put brand new batteries in them, and nothing. My mom bought them for my boys at Toys R Us, but we can't find them anywhere. So we can't exchange them. So far so good on everything else. -
I don't know. I have two little guys (8 and 6) My sister bought them each a pair. They are cool. But how much will they actually use them? I don't know if it is worth it or not to have two pairs. If you are going to buy them anyway, this is a great price though. Cheapest I've seen them was $50.00 at Target after Thanksgiving.

DS22 Pedal Board and Guitar Hero Band Kit DS17 Leather Jacket, Pitchblack (guitar tuner), Dell Monitor DS08 Knex, Ripstick, Rockband Track pack Vol.2 PS2, Lego games (Batman and Indiana Jones) for Wii. DS06 He says EVERYTHING is the greatest. There wasn't anything he didn't like. Everything he got was awesome. Me (39): Wii Fit There are a lot of boxes that weren't opened yet. So there may be some misses. But we haven't been home much until today. CRAZY holiday schedules. And as far as Nerf Vulcan goes, we haven't been able to try it because I didn't read that it needed a bunch of D batteries. So I just bought some and haven't had a chance to try it again after that. But that thing is going to weigh a TON after adding 6 D batteries. -
Not totally impressed...However

I AGREE!!! My mom and sister and I went out shopping. We went into Bath and Body Works. They had much better deals on the 22nd. Well actually I guess they had the same deals, they just had more stuff. Now they added some $3.00 lotion, but nothing exciting to me. I did buy two candles. We went into Jos A Bank. They had a better sale before Christmas. My mom bought my son a hat for Christmas but when she saw this one, she said she wants to trade him because this one was nicer. I looked at a suit for my other son that he wants for Graduation. But it was on sale for Cheaper before Christmas. So I'll wait on that one. Since I have 6 months. We went to Target. I bought NOTHING. A lot of people were wandering around in the Toy Department and Electronics. But it didn't look like people were buying that much. There were lines though. I didn't buy anything. Then we went to Toys R Us to do an exchange of a disappointing broken toy. And I saw they had D batteries on sale. Not a great sale. They were $9.99 for 8. But my kids got a few toys that needed Ds. Those were my big purchases for the day. -
I went today and got the Storm Trooper Voice Changing Helmet for $19.81 and the Night Vision Goggles for $39.81. I was trying to decide about getting the Light Show for Christmas lights that you can hook up to an MP3 player for $29.##. But then wondered if I'd really want to hook up lights to sound. My neighbors might not think that was so cute.

That is pretty. My mom just put an offer on a house and we are waiting to hear back (hopefully today since this is a counter offer). If she gets it, I'll order that for her house warming present. Thanks for posting!!! To post a picture, you just right click on the picture you want to post and click on properties. Copy the address. Click on the little yellow box above with the hill and the sun and paste the address in the box. and Hit OK. You can't post this picture because it isn't a picture image. It was done in flash. At least I don't know how to post those picture if there is a way. HTH. -
Leapfrog Crammer $14.99 Toys R Us
debbieshops2003 replied to debbieshops2003's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I don't think Target Price Matches anymore. I think they stopped that a long time ago. At least in my area. And most stores that do price match need an ad. And I never saw an ad that showed this. I think it was an unadvertised In Store Special. -
Leapfrog Crammer $14.99 Toys R Us
debbieshops2003 replied to debbieshops2003's topic in Offline Hot Deals
If they are, I'd rather be paying $14.99 for the old one than $59.99 (or more) for the new one. My boys got that for Christmas last year. It is a cool idea. They don't use it as much as I thought they would. But you have to use their paper and it is about $8.00 a notebook. -
Leapfrog Crammer $14.99 Toys R Us
debbieshops2003 replied to debbieshops2003's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I'm in Southern California. It wasn't an advertised special (that I saw). But the sign was up in the store. And they had about 10 of them or more. It wasn't like it was a return or a last item. -
I just got back from Toys R Us. They had the Leapfrog Crammer on sale for $14.99. You don't need a coupon. I didn't see this in the ad. But there was a sign right next to them. They are regularly $59.99. You can upload flash cards for your kids to study. Seems like a great price to me. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3104363 http://trus.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pTRU1-4741896reg.jpg

Its cool. Have you seen the eyeclops? You hook it to your tv. It is a Microscope (basically). Well the Bionicam, is an upgraded version. You don't have to be attached to your tv, and it has a camera. You can use it and take a picture. You plug the usb into your computer and look at your pictures. I thought it would be cool for them to explore. Anything that helps them keep up with the everchanging technology is a great investment to me. These were on a one day sale at Toys R Us a few weeks ago for like $59. or $69.00 They are regularly somewhere between $79 and $89. This is an incredible price. I picked up two last week. One for my boys, one for my nieces. If you look at the link, there is a little video about it. BTW: I got it when they were $19.99.

Oh my gosh!!! How exciting! I can't belive it! Thanks for sharing that info. I searched the Target website last week and didn't see that. I want to get it for my niece. Her birthday is January. I wonder when in 2009 it will come out. Oh well, I guess if it doesn't come out for a while it will give me time to find the rest of the dolls I need to complete the set. Then I can give it all to her for Christmas next year. Now there is planning.

I've checked everywhere. Last year they had it all over. I don't know why it would be so hard to find. I thought it was a classic and would out there some where. If anybody finds it PLEASE POST!!!

If you have a membership to Sam's Club or Costco, you can upload your picture from home and pick them up in store. They both have great prices. -
Post your Christmas savings here!
debbieshops2003 replied to worktomuch's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
It would take me forever to add up my totals and my savings. I have 4 kids ranging from 6-22. So I bought electronics, toys, sports equipment, etc. I got GREAT deals. Probably the best deals were: EZ up for my sister for $50.00 Bionicam for my kids and my niece $19.99 each. Hannah Montana Guitar plug in game for $11.99 Sony Boom Mic for my son's HD Video Cam $46.88 I got a lot of stuff. But these things were probably the items I save the most money on per item. But everything I bought were great prices. Of course I missed the excellent deals from last year. And I definitely missed the Price Adjustment Guarantee. But they still have great prices if you watch. Thank you ALL that posted these great deals! Working together we can really save some money!!!! -
Washed husband's cell phone
debbieshops2003 replied to mmouse1's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
That was what I was going to suggest. I hear it works. My friend has washed hers a few times. And if you end up drying it out, it may work just fine. Hers did. Good luck! -
Thanks! I finally have a list for Toys R Us. We don't have snow here (sunny southern California) but it is COLD!!!! It is 38 degrees right now at 9:10 AM. That is totally NOT like So. Cal! How do you people do it with the cold. We are so not cut out for this. If we have to have cold, I wish we could have snow to let the kids play in. Thank God this is the last day of school. Now I can keep the kids in the warm house and bake cookies and keep warm.

It's CYBER MONDAY (again) at SEARS.com GREAT Deals!
debbieshops2003 replied to magickallight's topic in Online Hot Deals
Sears is really good about price adjustments. I did price adjustments like 3 times when I bought my washer and dryer. They were awesome. I did it over the phone. -
Thanks! I picked up Mario Super Sluggers!

KOTA The triceratops Kohl's $157.50 shipped
debbieshops2003 replied to joylarge's topic in Online Hot Deals
Kohls SHOULD just adjust the receipts. It would save them so much in shipping. I don't get it. I just called and asked them if they would adjust Bisquit that I purchased and is shipping today. But no, they said I had to re-order and return to the store. They can't cancel the other order. They can't adjust it. Seems like they are wasting money. And now I have to make an additional trip to the store to return it. What a pain!!! That doesn't seem like the best business plan. She said she could adjust to the sale price, but not use the Kohls Coupon Code. What??? It is THEIR coupon code. It makes NO sense!!! I think they should re-think that business plan. That is money down the drain for them. Not to mention, I'm taking an item out of their inventory that is supposedly a "hot toy" this season that they could potentially sell to somebody else. Store policies drive me crazy. Thanks for posting these coupon codes....I would have totally missed this one!!!!! I just assumed I would get a better deal with the 30% off?? -
Gift Ideas For 15 Year Old Boy
debbieshops2003 replied to tthomas99's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I have a 16 year old son. He loves gift cards. Best Buy is always a great pick because my son loves picking up a movie when they come out. Target is also a great choice because Target has everything. Movies, CDs, video games. Hope this helps!
