  1. I hope they are safe. I just bought them for my niece. She wanted Aqua Dots and never got them. So she wants these. I'd hate to give her something that isn't safe.
  2. Yes! You did get lucky!!! Mine Too! Bummer!
  3. I went shopping last weekend and I saw Wiis and Wii fits at Target and Toys R Us. Target only had 2, but Toys r Us had a LOT. I went back a few days later and everything was gone. I thought they were going to be pretty easy to find. My kids have the Wii. But a lot of my friends have been searching. I made some phone calls but they didn't think they'd sell out so fast. I think it just has to do with luck. A friend of mine last year around Christmas just picked his kids up, took them out to surprise them and buy them a Wii. He didn't look, didn't call, didn't know when the delivery was, just walked into Toys R Us and said he wanted a Wii and got one. He had NO idea they were even hard to find because it just worked out for him. If you aren't a person searching, you don't realize how hard they are to get. At least until there is word of the "next big thing" ready to hit the market. Then they'll be everywhere. I did pick up a Wii Fit and told my husband, here, your Christmas shopping is done. You can just wrap this up.
  4. I wanted that rug. For my sister's girls for their toy room. Its a great price. But the shipping is $17.##. Bummer...wish they had better shipping rates. When will they start free ship to store like WalMart. I like Target. I'd buy even more.
  5. In my experience (I have 4 boys 22, 16, 8, 6) kids circle things because they look cool in the ads. Little People are sturdy and will last, however, my problem with Little People (I own a lot in boxes in the garage because they are in perfect condition so I don't want to get rid of them - Why?? I don't know!!!) is by the time your child understands manipulative play, they are kinda on the way out of Little People. He probably circled that because he now knows it exists because he saw it in the ad. But he may be happier with something that he can play with the same, but will last longer, because it isn't so young looking. My boys 8 and 6 do not play with Little People and haven't for quite awhile. I would say Little People are more for ages 2-4. My boys like playing with Pirates of the Caribbean action figures, Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers and stuff like that. They love sports stuff. But my advice would also change if you have little ones at home and you don't want a lot of little pieces around a baby. And also, the baby can get the little people next. I just wish I had all the money from all the Little People I've bought that still look like they just came out of the package. Hope this helps.
  6. BUMMER!!!! Would have liked to get that for 19.96. I check this site all the time. I went to balance my checkbook and clean my house and missed it. See why it is bad to do housework???
  7. My 6 year old can do drums on hard. I've moved up to medium on most songs (guitar), but he'll tell me, you should probably pick easy on this song mom, its pretty hard. But he'll still pick hard. I can't do it. Sometimes I fail on medium. Pretty sad when your 6 year old is saving you.
  8. Dang...You already gave her the perfect boyfriend. A bargain shopper!!!! That is incredible that you already have that much for $10.50???? I'm impressed!!!! Wanna teach my husband about finding deals????
  9. We saw it in the theaters. I ordered this and just got back from picking it up. My boys didn't know that was why we were going there. They were SO excited. You'd think they didn't havce any movies. Thanks for posting this. My store was out of EVERYTHING. No more double packs. Good thing I ordered it to pick up in store. No more toys nothing. I wouldn't have known to ask. The guy at the exit had one on his computer monitor. He gave it to my boys. They were SO HAPPY!!!!
  10. I wouldn't take anything I'm saying for 100% certainty, but from MY understanding, they are closing a bunch of stores. They will still have some stores, but are cutting back alot. They have no plans on closing their online sales. So if there aren't any stores around you, you may have to pay to send your return back. But I heard their online has no plans on going away.
  11. I vote for the grey!!!!! It is so soft and pretty!
  12. I think it is a Veterans Day Sale and ends on the 11th. The Free $10.00 off future purchase is good November 12th - December 24th.
  13. Fisher Price Kid Tough Camera is in the Target ad this week. In store only $38.00. http://weeklyad.target.com/target/default.aspx?action=entryflash&ref=nav%5fweeklyad Page 21
  14. I went into BBW tonight. That robe is AWESOME!!! I LOVE the color!! If you are going to get it, check out the post in the "offline hot deals" http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=124586 Right now you can use the $10.00 off $30.00 but my store (and it looks like most from the posts) are giving a $10.00 gc to use between Nov 12 and Dec 24 with a $40.00 purchase. You spend $40.00, you get the gift card, then the $10.00 off. So its a good time to get it.
  15. I agree. Buy some diagonal cutters. (they are probably already in your tool box). I bought a small tool kit from Target after Christmas last year that I keep in my laundry room. You can cut those little things really easily. You don't have to untie them. It isn't that hard! I keep the kit under my couch while the kids open presents. I know I'll need it. I ordered my niece some Magtastiks from kbtoys last year and they came in a plain box like that. I felt like I was giving her some kinda swap meet clearance toy or something. Kids see a cardboard box and have NO idea what it is. That isn't much fun. Seems like it is easier for them to re-sell previously opened boxes.
  16. I got my Target Toy Catalog today in the mail. There is a $5.00 off $50.00 coupon on the back. I'm glad they didn't do away with the hard copies.
  17. I am having the same issue with mine. My oldest son (22) says we don't really need the equipment for Rockband 2. Even though the drums are supposedly upgraded and wireless and the guitars are wireless. The game is supposed to work with the old equipment. So we might get the track pack Vol 2 (we already have vol 1) and Rockband 2 disk. and use the equipment we already have. And skip the Guitar Hero World Tour. But that is only because I'm not willing to have 3 of these systems. But we do enjoy playing together as a family. Will Guitar Hero World Tour game work with Rockband equpiment??? Hmmmm I don't know.
  18. I thought this was a great deal. I bought 6 games! Well I bought 4 and got 2 free! I bought Mario Kart, Lego Batman, Lego Indiana Jones, Mario Super Sluggers, Star Wars, and Madden 09. It was like $33.00 a game. I'll take that. But I also used my Target card and had earned a 10% off day so I got an additional 10% off so I paid like $30.00. I'll take that!
  19. Thanks for Posting this!!!! I wouldn't have known they existed. I can't believe they don't have a toy catalog. They weren't available in store either. At least not yet. But they are only good for the next three weeks. They better get them out if they are going to. I used the $5.00 off Mario Kart Wii and the $5.00 off Twister Hopscotch. Two different cashiers without a question. I think I want to use the $5.00 off the NERF N-STRIKE VULCAN BLASTER too. That looks cool.
  20. I bought my son's (16) twin mattress at Sam's Club. It was the best price and a great mattress. He's really happy with it.
  21. I went to 2 Targets today and both had them. Toys R Us had a BUNCH of them. $89.99. I bought one at Target and used my 10% off from my credit card. But that is the best deal I've seen.
  22. Hey....my store isn't showing up online. I thought I spent enough there to keep them open. I like Circuit City. And we were supposed to be getting a new one. I wonder what will happen with that?!?!
  23. We have the first Rockband. I'm not sure about the Guitar Hero World Tour because we don't have that. We have Guitar Hero. My kids ALL love Rockband. I have all boys 22, 16, 8 and 6. They will all play together because it works great for all levels. My two oldest are very musically inclined. They both play a lot of instruments and they do not get bored playing with their little brothers. My 22 year old was playing with the Rockband 2 at the store (which is what you want to compare Guitar Hero World Tour with as they are the two that are more similar and more comparably priced. Being that you can get Rockband for like 99.00 now) and he says we NEED to get Rockband 2. And originally he wanted Guitar Hero World Tour. You didn't say how old your GS was, but with these things so much is personal preference. This was our personal preference. But we also decided to get Rockband for the PS2 and not the Wii because we didn't see any difference other than the color. PS2 is black, WII is white. And others say you have to get it for the Wii. Hope this helps. After typing it I thought this may be even more confusing.
  24. Thank you! I never saw the ad for last weeks sale and I never made it over there. I guess this weekend I have to now.
  25. I have two little boys 8 and 6 and have NO idea what a Bakugan is I've seen them advertised. but doesn't seem like a big deal with my kids friends. At least not yet. None of the parents I've talked to know what they are. After seeing some of these posts, I thought maybe I should.
