  1. Headed there shortly...so happy to find the coupon!! Thank you!
  2. THANK YOU for this! I tossed my coupons last week by accident, so I was able to use the codes to reduce my online order. Thank you! 4 bras, 5 panties for $74 shipped.
  3. This will be our first year traveling for Christmas. We've decided to head to CT to see my dad on the 26th. We're unsure how long we're staying, we're in no rush. There's snow! :)
  4. When I was 5, we went to Santa's Store at school. My mother had given me a set amount of money, I think it was $20. I had to buy gifts for everyone. Of course, being 5, I bought my mother the most wonderful stuffed pony, hoping she'd give it to me. When i got home and had to show her what I bought, I got into trouble! I had to return everything I bought and she helped me pick out things FOR my family members, not for myself. I still remember how much I loved that pony. I was SO sad when I had to return it! :)
  5. What a wonderful thread! I got quite a few good laughs from reading through the posts! Although this isn't a Santa request, DD5 begged for that Perfect Pancake pan. We made 2 batches of perfect pancakes and she gobbled them up...and has forgotten it's in the cabinet. DD3 asked if Santa could bring him "new cool boy underpants" today. (We're potty-training and bought him one of those Underoo sets with the tee and boxer briefs in Batman. Now he thinks he's Batman and won't let anyone touch the bat logo on his chest!)
  6. My mother uses coupons for $10GC from Target with a new/transferred prescription all the time. They'll come out in the paper, or sometimes customer service will have some. She's never been told there's a limit and I know she's used them a lot.
  7. Ooooh...I like the $12 off another animal, too! I'm so unsure which one to make for DD5. She's obsessed with BAB stuff and has probably 5-6 animals. She's picky about which ones she wants. I'll have to pretend I'm a 5-y.o. little girl! :)
  8. We've never gotten one, though, and have been a member for over a year (and we've all had birthdays that are registered). But yes, we do have someone with a birthday this month (on the 12th). Now I have to find a way to make the 45 minute drive and be sneaky. :)
  9. I just received one of these in my email...and I've never seen one before. It's for an animal priced up to $12. First, it's wonderful! BUT, my question is, what did I do to get this? I mean, hey, I spend lots of $ there throughout the year so maybe that's it. Anyone else ever get one of these? :D:D
  10. Thanks for your replies! I've only had time to check out artscow, but will check out the others soon. I actually can't make it until after Christmas b/c it's going to be of the recipes that I'll be making in the next few weeks. So I have to make them and take pictures. :)
  11. I thought of Katiesmommy, too! In fact, I had to check the author of the post to make sure it wasn't her. Poor horse....I didn't shop from them this year, either. Actually, nothing we purchased this year was Hasbro branded. Glad you found a back-up in case the other doesn't show. I think I like The Butterscotch Incident the best. :)
  12. We left our boots out once when we lived in Germany. I LOVED this. It was always a few days before Christmas. And it was just plain fun! It wasn't about "what" was in there - you know, getting BIG gifts. It was about the excitement that we were leaving our boots outside our front door, plus, it was different than the regular Christmas celebrations. It was new and helped us learn that not everyone does the same things.
  13. Exactly. Not every family is the same. Beliefs are going to vary. In our house, we believe in God and Santa. And the Tooth Fairy (who visited last night!). And the Easter Bunny...but he's not given enough credit. :) It's tough with kids now b/c of how commercial Christmas has become. Santa is out left and right on decorations, clothes, cards, lights, etc. I don't see many religious holiday items anymore. I just had a big discussion with my daughter last night about God and Jesus and Christmas. She's 5 and is really starting to ask questions about God. But, back to your comment...no, there's nothing wrong with telling your children that Santa really lives in the spirit of the holidays and not in the flesh, if that's what you choose to do.
  14. You know, even as an adult, I still tear-up when I see Santa at stores. I get emotional when I see my kids sitting on his lap, telling him their wishes. What's wrong with letting them believe? We know it's a state-of-mind -- giving to those in need, "granting" wishes, loving those around you. But if they can enjoy and believe in the magic of that side of Christmas, I say why not. Kids grow up too fast now, and I want for them to enjoy some magic while they're still young enough to believe. I don't remember how old I was when I discovered the truth (by sneaking peeks in my parents' closet and finding my "Santa Gift")...maybe 8-9?? But even after that, I still believed in it to an extent. I figured that Santa needed to help other kids from families that couldn't afford what we could.
  15. My mom got hers last week and I was so jealous b/c I hadn't gotten mine yet (I do every year). This is always what buys DD's Christmas Eve jammies. :) I'm a happy mom!
  16. This may sound silly, but I just can't remember the name of the site I saw on a commercial this morning. It was about making photo creations, like mugs, shirts, etc. But what really sparked my interest was a photo book (hardcover) that was a recipe book. I think that one had pictures of Christmas cookies. It made me think how great of an idea it would be to make one from this year's Christmas treats b/c I can never keep all of my recipes in one place. We were watching Nickjr. and the website was something like www. (insert site name here that I think had the word "print" in it) .com/nick Anywho, anyone ever make a book like this? What's a good place to do it?? Or if you happened to be watching a commercial this morning and remember the name, I'd appreciate it. I don't want to leave the TV on all day just to try to catch the commercial again. :)
  17. Our Best Buy here has a TON actually in stock. A lot of people were buying them...but there were still lots on the shelves.
  18. Ah...I didn't read that part. That IS a great deal. Even still, the 2 for $24 is good. Holly is super cute. Wish I'd gotten Hal! :)
  19. Okay...if you follow the link in this post, it'll take you to the page. Scroll down a bit, click add to cart. Viola! It's $24 for both. :) I even went as far to add a few other things to see if it'd work with additonal things in the cart, and it did. The deal is both Hal & Holly, and the book for $24. You don't have to add everything individually. They have other deals, too, where they're dressed, or include the little baby Moose boy and girl. Too bad I already bought Holly when she was $18. That's a great deal!
  20. :) You beat me to posting! :) So happy about this one. The nearest one to us is a 45 minute drive and we always walk out with twice as much as we budget for. I was just able to get 2 shirts and 3 pair of pants as stocking stuffers for my kiddos, and only paid $3.10 total after discounts mentioned in this thread, and by redeeming my SFS certificate and a $10GC we got with purchase a few weeks back. Gotta love it!!
  21. I think you should snap a photo of his crazy hair & one of him hard a work and post it to the outside. :)
  22. I've been searching for a wii fit for quite some time and haven't been able to find one. But I'm seeing the wii EVERYWHERE. Best Buy had about 50 of them all in a big stack. Can't wait for the fit to be as easy to find! :)
  23. Our Best Buy must've had at least 50 in a huge stack. Perhaps getting ready for BF? :)
  24. Wish I'd seen this yesterday! :) I bought Biscuit the pup (gift from grandparents to my kids). Signed up this morning, though, so maybe they'll let me post that to my account. I tried but it said I had to wait 24 hours past the purchase date before they could credit it. That'd be $5 right there! :)
  25. Well, since I posted earlier, I've been checking the thread. Several of you said to check eBay...so I went to check on finding some cute, fun ones for DD. We won an incredibly cute lavendar colored one on Monday, and it arrived today! $7.24 total. Can't beat that!! Thanks for the tip. Now I'm hooked on eBay leotards.
