I'm so glad you all were able to find stuff! :) I LOVE it when our TRU does this. And my kids love their new shoes.

Ours does repairs, no problem. Actually, there was a family in front of us last time, getting a sound fixed. When we made one last year, the associate actually told us that if there's ever an issue, to just bring it back and they'd fix it. (like extra fluffing adding, etc) I'm sure that would cover helping to replace a broken MEOW, even if you have to pay for the box. :) DS2 has the orange tabby, and is named "Kitty", too! Must be the age. :) Thought for sure he'd go after the dino, but nope...he wanted "Kitty."

That really depends on who you're shopping for. They had quite a bit for younger children. And a bunch of those foamie shoes (I grabbed some b/c my kids LOVE them). My DD is in a 13...and I found 3 pair for her. They have a bunch of boys shoes as well. Clothes...there was A LOT in all sizes.

ALL of their clearance shoes and clothing are an additional 50% off the red ticket price. Stopped by this morning and found some shoes for DS and DD for $2.55!!:D:D They had tons of clothes and shoes out. I may go back and get a few more in different sizes for the kids. Update: Went back...total for the 5 pair of shoes I bought, less than $15. Reg. retail for the Skechers I got for DD, $24.99. I'd say I GOTTA DEAL!

I gave in and went over... Toys at mine are 75% and pretty much gone. Tents and tunnels are still at 30%. The easels are 50%. Was hoping to snag a Thomas set, or the Aquadoodle, but no such luck. Think that means I didn't need to spend any money today. :)

You all have me so tempted to go over to mine and look! It's right across the street....SO TEMPTING!!! :) But, looking at the lists, I don't see much that we'd buy. Even going through the stuff when it was 30% off, I couldn't find much, and I WANTED to shop! :) My kids have WAY too much already....but I do love a deal!

Used mine this morning, and the cashier was hesitant, but did take them. She didn't comment, but you could tell b/c she inspected them REALLY carefully. Still got some cookies, though! :)

Not that I should be eating cookies, but they're good to pack in DD's lunch. Thank you! It let me print 2!

Actually, I saw a Hello Kitty sewing machine at our Target that was on clearance, didn't check the price, but there were quite a few there and I didn't see anyone hopping over to get one. I'll check next time I'm there. Yay for hubby! Pretty sure mine would've made me call...although he handled a confrontation tonight like a hero and I LOVED it! I hate being the bad guy. Glad you at least got "something" from corporate. Waiting to hear what the manager says from that particular store.... And yes, I LOVE that smilie!!

What a mess!! Definitely call corporate. I'm fortunate that my old high-school friend works at the one I shop at. I ALWAYS go to his line when I check out. :)

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience!! Lost in transit? Sounds a little fishy to me!! Personally, I've never had any issues with their site (in fact, just got a shipment from them yesterday of clearance clothing)...but I don't like that they seem to divide up your order into as many different packages as they can. Over the holidays, I placed an order containing 4 items. I received THREE different packages all on the same day, all shipped the same day from the same place. This last one wasn't so bad, but it did arrive in 2 packages (again, from the same place shipped same day), and the one package only had one item in it. Just seems wasteful to me that they couldn't have just slipped that shirt into the other envelope. BTW, I love your fishy smilies. :)

Hey! You're in Smithfield! :) I lived in Surry for about 5-6 years...LOVE it out there! Went to the Chesapeake Target today, everything still 30% off in the toy section. But they do have more than the NN store.

Honestly, probably not. There wasn't anything that really caught my eye that I'm waiting to see it reduced. I may go back on Friday or so, but not today. I'll keep you posted with the clearance, though! AND, it never hurts to call before taking the drive. The CS people there are incredibly nice.

I haven't been to the Williamsburg one for 10 years! (I lived there then) But we are so close the NN one, I'm constantly there. :) Good Luck! I hope they have what you're looking for!! :):)

Perhaps they're willing to install XP instead of Vista? I forget where I saw it, but I know it was one of the major chains (best buy, maybe?) that offered this as a service for new computers. I'm pretty sure there was a fee, but not sure how much. May be an option... HTH!

I live in Hampton Roads.... Went to the Target in NN tonight...toys are randomly priced between 30%-50%, it seems it depends on the toy. 3 aisles of stuff, though! I found some cute tanks on clearance for DD, $1.74. Also found a LPS boxed set - a Target exclusive - but don't ever remember seeing it out on the shelves during Christmas. I've never seen it before. It's a set of 15 pets from "around the world". It's the cutest little thing, but only at 30% off. It was the ONLY one I could find, and I did think about hiding it, but you guys have me so paranoid that someone will go searching for hidden stuff! (cause I did tonight!! :)) So I grabbed it. Asked the cashier when stuff would be marked down again, she shrugged and said she didn't know. Pretty much NOTHING left in the Christmas section.

$8.50, I think. That's what it was for my cart.

I had this happen a few weeks ago. They gave me the price adjustment but couldn't reflect it until it had shipped. She actually refunded the money in the system, but it wouldn't process until it shipped. I'd call back and speak to a manager.

Bed Bath and Beyond had some advertised around Christmas time...not sure if they'll still be in the stores or not, but they looked pretty nice!

Normally, you can stack the discounts with their site. I did it last month with all the "goofy" codes they had. But sometimes the codes are only good on certain items (housewares, clothing, etc). 3199 is one of the 15% off codes I used. Not sure if it's still valid, though.

They were stocking the clearance toys today when I went over. All still at 30%, though. We did find a few cute things that DD didn't want to pass up. A LPS advent calendar (she actually says she's waiting until NEXT Christmas to open it up, and it's very cool!), and a Playskool soft soccer ball for DS. Both orig. price of $9.99, we paid $6.xx. They still had quite a few of those holiday wrapping box sets (gift wrap rolls, bows, bags, etc that all match). Didn't brave going back to the other stuff b/c it was busy enough at the toy section. :)

Question about avatars.... I'd like to change mine, (I know how to change it already), but is there a rule about what they can be?? No no, it's nothing bad....but I'm a member of an absolutely free health/weight-loss website and have an avatar that says, "I'm lost x# pounds with __", and lists the name of the site. There's no catch to the site, and I've been a member of it for over a year. It's so wonderful that I'd love to share it with others, but don't know if that's against Gottadeal rules or not. I would gain nothing from it (b/c it's free) other than the satisfaction of knowing that my avatar may have lead others to their free resources and a healthier lifestyle. Any help is appreciated!
