  2. The Ravens Lost Bigtime today. Am not a huge fan but usually check it out.......
  3. My wifi-only watch works anywhere in the house when my phone rings in the other room. The cellular only works with the 3 major carriers. And it is $10./ month, last I knew. I will not pay $85/month for a cell plan. My ST is about $37 with tax. end rant
  4. Actually, my favorite score goes back many years to a long ago Walmart where I splurged on a West Bend bread machine. I thought if I was going to spend $50 on an appliance, I had better make it worthwhile. So I did. I used that bread machine until it wore out. Bought another one at Goodwill, used that one till it wore out. And I am continuing the tradition. We love homemade bread. People we share with seem to appreciate homemade bread too. (Easy gift, and no dusting required!)
  5. I got a series 3 a while after it came out because it is waterproof to wear in the pool (and I do, but it isnt for soapy dishwater) I gave my series 1 to DH who can bang it around at work. After series 3, I believe the watches got slightly bigger, which may or may not be an issue for you. ( I lack gorilla wrists, so am not replacing mine anytime soon. ) I am a big fan of the Apple refurb and clearance store (scroll all the way down to the bottom of the Apple store page) But the 3 is still for sale brand new. I dont know how the SE compares with the others. Fyi, ymmv. Happy shopping. PS bought a lot of nice knock off watch bands on eBay. ps Also was unsure about buying a large, pricey watch but I love it, wear it every day and it encourages me to move more (a setting choice).
  6. I bought tech-phobic DH an unlocked iPhone SE last year and he loves it! It is unlocked and works on his TF account. Not the cheapest phone out there but he finds it easy to use. (Also a phone that works in his metal employment building!) Ymmv:)
  7. A TV remote that doesn’t require a computer engineering degree for an LG tv that has the Worst Remote Ever Made. Dont need much, luckily. And small family to buy for.
  8. I have a zillion t-shirts that I cycle thru( til they get threadbare and live in the paint-shirt drawer). (Just wore my 2015 shirt this week) so.......I would welcome a hoodie! Large, if they dont run too small. (voted)
  9. Thank You Thank You. I will find some (Barn sounds cool). Got a pile of books ( more than I planned on but there were so many choices) the other day in Ollie’s. Will do for birthday and Christmas but toys are wanted too. Thanks!
  10. Also checking in for October
  11. Does it come with Life Insurance?!?! (seen kids rolling down the road at speed and they must have different genes than me cuz I could never have done that! But I could ride any horse.....)
  12. I would buy a ride on toy for my nephew. No one else has any Must Haves. Lotsa wants but dont we all.
  13. Somebody is going to have fun with this! I’m still playing my vintage Nintendo Actually got a NTM game last year. But we only have dumb tv’s.

  19. Hi . Late checking in this month. The only good thing is that I have lost my appetite and lost over 20#. But will never be too thin. The funny part is I am almost at my drivers license weight.
  20. Magic, I think of you whenever I watch the news about low vaccination states. It must be hard! ( we are looking forward to retirement and spending time in the camper, not a casket). I dont get it.........
  21. July is here and I am going doctor-free for the foreseeable future. No one gives the same answer so I am thrilled to call a halt. Nothing life threatening! Enjoying summer here and hope you all do too.
  22. Hi Folks June is finally here and I do not usually like to have time rush past but will be getting some long overdue medical help (thank you covid NOT) But summer is fun and we plan to enjoy our staycation with mowing and swimming PS Walmart Zinc sunscreen works well, mechanical blocker.
  23. Happy Spring, Folks. It is a good day here, got the pool open. Earliest date ever. The water is 66* which is tolerable for this old fish. Should warm up more as the sun beats on the pool walls. (come August I will be wishing for ice cubes) Now I can get some aquatic exercise at home. (Had been going to aquatic physical therapy) Hope you all are getting nice weather. edit to add - We have some cicadas, noisy critters but they dont bite.
