[quote name="starbeck96" post="1524544" timestamp="1664989992" But, this year there are a few things I'm wanting. I might get one thing off my list, but I know I won't get them all..lol Bread machine food processor vacuum sealer New laptop (for homeschooling, nothing fancy) New printer (for homeschooling) I'm sure there will be more when the ads come out, but these are the things I've been wanting/needing for a while. BREAD MACHINE . You will love it! I bought one in the 90s at my very first Black Friday. I wore it out. Truely. I find almost new ones at Goodwill for replacements. Have not bought a loaf of bread in many years. The secret is bread kits, I have some (old sherbet) plastic containers (gladware will do) and when I measure out for a loaf of bread, I measure out three or four loaves at the same time. All the dry ingredients. Put the cover on and put them aside. when it’s time to make bread, you add your water, honey, yeast and it’s real easy. No measuring every time. I put labels on the top too if I make an all white loaf or a whole wheat loaf, .whatever’s in the container. Hope you get your bread machine

Hi Folks. Happy surprise today in my mailbox from Brad! Some cool zipper bags. Thanks Brad! This is actually something I was going to try and get for our camping gear. Its a hit. Rain rain go away. I also refuse to turn on the furnace but I cheated and grabbed a small electric heater from the camper. It is supposed to dry out and warm up. Too soon for frost.

Good morning, late to the post, but not too late I am so sorry to hear about Queen Elizabeth. A bright spot of sanity in a mad world. Plus she reminded me so much of my own Grandma. Regards, chris

Hello People, just checking in for August. Hope everyone is doing ok or better. Having a break from hot and humid but it will be back.
-
Ha! I love being an adult and not having to face a new school year. The best thing about Adult Ed is that it is in the evening I like learning stuff but the only school days I liked were the first day and the last day. But I did have some really good teachers Happy August

Agree!!! I just love snow. I guess that’s what happens when you grow up in the snowy NJ and PA hills. And we rarely missed school cuz they put chains on our school buses. That’s just wrong This year all the good snow went north and south of us. My Sis got 12” downstate. Some ppl have all the luck If there was any way I could have gotten to OC before that blizzard..... But I will admit, we are running thru some heating oil. Lotsa sweaters though. Keep warm or cool, whatever u need.

Just checking in. No good news to report. Gonna meet Sis today for gift exchange. That is is for December news.

Bought a new family computer online at Bestbuy for store pick up. Went late Saturday to pick up. Line was about 50 people with 1 checkout. I cannot stand that long so left. Went back on Monday. Long line with 1 person checking out pick ups. I asked the door guy if they could switch to curb pick up ( was not able to get that originally or change order) Guy said no so I left. Better luck next month haha -
Hope everyone had a nice day.
