For not much more than that we had a whole house vacuum installed back when DH had a better paying job. I have to do the work but I cannot see a robot cleaning up doghair from ours and fosters. Ymmv.

Looking forward to Black Friday but only vicariously. It seems like this is always a bad time for extra cash. DH needs some long sleeve pocket T shirts but there is nothing we must have. Our 60 year old Toastmaster toaster works perfectly. The Tv in the br is almost new and the old one in the living room is too heavy to move!

Got a huge package of newspaper ads in our paperbox Tuesday. I dont think I've ever seen such a big selection of ads. It was a day early this year.

I already got my husbands gift and its no longer a secret. He now has a new roof on his shed. No more leaks ( and no more $$).

Whatever you buy do Not buy a Kitchenaid refurb. We have had nothing but trouble with ours and I think the warranty was 3 or 6 months. Kitchenaid compamy was no help. My husband has repaired it with new parts and the special food grade grease. But it still leaks grease and is not right. I would never recommend another refurb.

My fav is staying warm in front of my computer and buying some gifts and looking at a whole bunch of electronics for me that I cannot actually afford! :)

Last year I got my parents a donation to the county animal shelter. They got a nice certificate with their name on it. Also baked bread. No matter who I give baked goods to, they like that.

Another fan of the Staples Easy Rebate, if you must use one. This is the only one I will ever bother with anymore. I come home, copy 2 numbers off the receipt (add name addy) and it's done. Always get the $$ in a few weeks, usually before I get the email that they sent it. You can also do more than one rebate at the same time.

We got a refurb in Kitchen Collection store at the Prime Outlets. Cobalt blue and well under $200. Works fine, I ground 40 cups of wheat with it today! (I am not a fan of online sites.) YMMV

arghh, I don't know if I should tell DH about this. We just spent about $80. in there on Wednesday. Great place to get groceries though. live and learn
