  1. I don't work, but my mom always gets the day so we can BF together
  2. I always scope out the ebay items, but I usually find it cheaper or the same locally!
  3. I think it's great the ads are out early! It bumps up the stores sales because you dont really "browse" on BF so some items are now on my list to get that I wouldn't have known about before.
  4. JC penny is a BF favorite, they always have good sale stuff and the shopping experience is always nice. Plus you can hit the mall stores when you are done and the food court for breakfast!!
  5. Last year our Pennys was the first one open at 5am for doorbusters, most others were 6am.
  6. All the men I know stay in hiding on BF....my husband just hands over the credit card and begs me to leave him out of it!! All he wants is the damage report.
  7. I was at my local B&BW a few days ago and they were having a sale and the woman was telling us that as far as she knew, this was the last big sale of the year. Last year I bought several items as buy 2 get 1 (I kept all the freebies and ended up with my own set!!)
  8. What I have noticed is that a lot of big stores are already having sales!! Kohls is a big one where I am that is having big sales now, as well as Hechts. Does this mean BF sales will be even better or that they are not planning on have big BF sales and we are better off shopping early???
  9. A good portion of my family has birthdays in January!! Between those and the holiday's we're all broke from Thanksgiving to Valentine's day!!! LOL. I love birthday shopping on BF and after Christmas sales.
  10. I'M GUILTY!!! Well, not exactly. A few years ago my boyfriend (now husband) really wanted some video game that was released just before BF and it was on a really good sale but, OF COURSE, no stores had any and they weren't getting anymore before Christmas!! So I happened into my malls movie store (SUNCOAST I think) and there was this 6 year old boy walking around with their LAST COPY!!! I followed him around the store watching to see if he put it down and he didn't. Keep in mind this was a very adult game and he had no idea what he had. So when he wondered into the kid's section I asked him if I could "see it" for a second and he WILLINGLY handed it to me. I pretended to read the back and when he lost interest in me I ran up to the register and paid for it. I kind of felt bad, but he was too young for it anyway!!!
  11. I think it's extremely inconsiderate, but then again, why do they care!! It's like come on--get your lazy a** out of bed like the rest of us. I live in an area thats very *ethnic* (sorry to offend anyone) and we have ALOT of military and any event that attracts a crowd is sure to be eventful!!
  12. I really think that you should hold off. Most younger kids like to play with them, but the games are geared for the older kids. I think first grade is about the age when they really can grasp how to play and not just push all the buttons.
  13. I am a first time BF shopper. Has it been anyone's past experience that Wal-mart puts special BF items in different locations in the store than where you would normally find them? Does anyone know Wal-mart policy on putting items on lay-away and then getting the BF sale price? Any help for first time shopper is appreciated. Thanks!!! Happy shopping.
