  1. I'd volunteer to pick up extras and send out to you at this price, but would be afraid that with shipping the cost would be similar to what you can find in your own town. But email me if you'd like to do that, as I am happy to help! danielle in VT [email protected]
  2. Saw this posted elsewhere and wanted to share! HTH --- Free Holiday Activations! There are FREE activations until 12-31-2005. The free activation can be done online or by phone. To activate online: http://activate.xmradio.com Activate by Phone: 1-800-XM-RADIO The Promtion Code: XMHOLIDAY
  3. If you are in the Northeast and looking for this Darth Tater version of Mr. Potato Head, I found it last night at Price Chopper grocery store for $2.49 instead of $9.99. I think there is also a Storm Trooper version, but I didn't see any of those. Just thought I would pass this along! I picked up 3, one for ds who is 3, one for a boy's bday gift and another for holiday gift exchange at child care. ) danielle in VT
  4. Picked up 2 of each color to round out the gift packages to everyone in the family. At that quantity, and with the 10% coupon, it turned out to be $3 for each of the 14 throws, and that included shipping! Thanks for the post. Great deal!
  5. Marcster -- Thanks to your post I have been having a great time picking out "stocking stuffer" gifts for my whole family. This was really good timing and feels great to get something checked off my list! I am just confirming my brother and sisters addresses for the gift subscriptions and have added this site to my online favorites. I love meta-search sites that do much of the legwork for you (including finding the coupon codes to use for best prices). Thanks! danielle
  6. Great deals! For these prices, I think it is OK to buy the current issue at retail for an "under the tree" gift. I am giving Vegetarian Times to my child care provider for part of her gift. And Family Fun is for me! LOL danielle
  7. Just went to my BL here in VT and got the TV one for $19.99 (sale price). They also had the Turner Classic Movies one.
  8. Darn! Saw this too late. The jogging stroller was not even listed on sale for me and the bike trailer was on the list, but OOS when I clicked on it. Bummer, as we were looking for both to use with our 5-month-old! danielle
  9. Just got my Sears flyer of the week, and on the last page it mentioned the free $10 Gift Cards to the first 25 people on Saturday morning, 12/3. I am sure those of you with larger stores will have more free GC to hand out...but I live in a small town! Now I just need to find out when the local Sears is opening to see if I can snag one of these cards. Hope this helps.
  10. Glad this was useful info! I wish there was a Sams Club near me...there are no clubs in my whole STATE! No Target either here in Vermont. Ugh. I meant to post the link in my original post, but I was too new a member to include a URL, so I quickly typed the list. LOL danielle
  11. I had picked up 6 DVD complete seasons (2 seasons of ER, 2 seasons of West Wing and 2 seasons of Dukes of Hazzard...for my hubby!) on BF at Walmart and was pleasantly surprised to find a MIR. Because I purchased 6 seasons, I was eligible for a $50 rebate! So at just under $20/each I spent $120ish for the 6 seasons, and will get back $50 making each season DVD collection approx. $11.67! These were all Warner Bros. TV productions and looks like the rebate is valid 1/1/05 - 6/30/06. Various rebates based on the number of Season sets: Buy 2 = $10 MIR Buy 3 = $20 MIR Buy 4 = $30 MIR Buy 5 = $40 MIR Buy 6 = $50 MIR Only one per person/household. Lots of eligible TV shows -- not all of the DVDs had the rebate sticker on them so here's a quick list: adventures of supermanbabylon 5ben stiller showcrusadedallasjamie foxx showgilmore girlskung fula femme nikitalois & clarkMADtvmurphy brownVthe wayans brothersthe waltonswest wingwithout a tracewonder womandukes of hazzardEReverwoodfresh prince of bel-airfriendsfull housegilligans islandnight courtnip/tuckthe oblongsthe OCone tree hillsmallvilleI also didn't see anything mentioning that you needed to purchase them all on one receipt, so you could combine purchases made throughout the year. Hope this helps! Have a great day.
