Just wanted to say that last year we got youngest DS (18 mos at the time, 2.5 years old now) the TMX Elmo and he had the SAME reaction. The other kids seemed to like it, and he was interested in what Elmo was doing...as long as someone was cuddling him and he could peek over a shoulder or something. The good news is that he eventually did get over it and grew to really enjoy it. So maybe your little guy will too!

I really appreciate your input! I am going to stay away from Buy.com due to a bad experience with a different purchase (sounds like others have had issues as well...) Circuit City is an option, it sucks that online is OOS. Only store in NH/VT that has this camera in stock is in Manchester, a one way drive of just over an hour. Will try to convince DH to take a family road trip on Saturday. OR, does Staples, Best Buy, Radio Shack or Walmart price match if I brought in the print out of the $199.99 price and available for in store pick up?

Wondering if anyone has seen this camera on sale anywhere? Or if there were any coupons for B&M stores/codes for online purchase? This was to be a gift from DH to me for Christmas. I refused to buy without a discount! LOL It is just under $200 at Amazon, BuyDig, Dell, NEwEgg, etc. Any suggestions?

I went in late on Dec 23rd and got a bunch of great clearance deals. Mens nice ribbed tees for $1.xx, Mens Dockers golf shirts (reg $42) for $4.20, boys (sizes 2T - 7) tees and sleeveless sports-uniform like tanks for $1.xx each, and even got some girls (size 10-12-14) stuff for DD, including underwear. And although I didn't find any big packs of towels in clearance, I did get a couple of random hand towels for the kids bathrooms. Add in the deals on photo frames, photo holder ornaments with 2007 on them, a half off Deigo toy set and DD5 "special wish come true from Santa" -- his very own Nutcracker (go figure!) -- and I made out really well. OH! And a Daisy Fuentes sweater for me on sale. Using a gift card with $79.99 on it from returning the portable DVD player purchased on BF that I forgot to send in rebate for (and didn't *really* need for kids) + 30% off coupon with Kohls charge it was a total of $48.91 on the card. Plus I got $20 Kohls Cash back! Wow.

I was at Walgreens today already today before seeing this...picked up the coke 12 pk deal and have the $4 RR. Now I may need to make another trip! LOL Maybe I will get a couple of the massagers as stocking stuffers ($4.99 sale/$9.99 reg).

Seeking your advice! I somehow made an error in one of my MANY Amazon orders and ended up with 3 Buzz Lightyears. I really only wanted 1, but looking at the return policy -- do they really deduct the free super saver shipping rates from the return amount? Meaning if I return these 2 items ($11.99 each), will I get back $23.98 or that amount LESS whatever shipping costs were? I have never done an Amazon return before. If the costs to return it (my return shipping costs + any deduction they take for that original free shipping) are too great, then I won't bother. Which store is better for returns without receipts -- Walmart or Kmart? I think both carry this items. Maybe I could try returning it there instead? What do you think?

I wondered if there were thoughts on this list from Bob? I'm in the market for something similar, and trying to figure out where the best bang for my limited bucks will be! The Canon SD1000 today at CC online is another option...I am worried that it doesn't have enough optical zoom for my taste however. I am looking to replace Minolta DiMage Z1 that's only 3.2MP but has that 10x optical zoom. Would really like at least 7MP. My price range is maxed out at $150-$200 tops. And this is my holiday gift! LOL Guidance?

Just wanted to thank you for the input. Found a nearly new Palm TX on ebay, with the GPS software and a hard case for $160 or so. Hubby has already used it on the wifi network here at home and seems to like it. Where could I find the best deal on an appropriate GPS antenna for use with this PDA? Thanks!
