  1. Will, can you please address this question for me? I am wondering if I can go put an item on layaway within the 30 day period prior to BF then price match it down to the sale price on BF. For instance, I go in and put in item x the week prior to BF. On BF, the ad states that item x is 100.00 cheaper during the "Blitz" hours. I go to layaway and ask for them to mark it down to sale price as I would with any other layaway item that went on sale during the 30 days proceeding me putting it into layaway. Thank you, cami Reardon
  2. December 26. Really, the family is so big, if I didn't start that early I'd be sunk.
  3. I've never managed to get in on any of the freebies because I'm too busy trying to get where I need to go so that I can get what I came in for. But there are usually good gift cards and stuff out there.
  4. I do all of my mom and my sister's Christmas shopping for my kids and grandkids. So I always pick up stuff for others. My MIL sometimes has a thing or two she wants as well. It makes for a long, harried day.
  5. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment, but I wrap them myself.
  6. Hubby is just rolling his eyes about it right now. The kids on the other hand are coming here and viewing the ads as they come out. *L* It's going to be a long few weeks!!
  7. Usually WM because I price match as much as possible. I can get in early, load my cart and just wait for the doorbusters then.
  8. Sure. I price match then use coupons too. It drives the cashier's nuts and the manager's are all used to me too because of that stupid little beep that comes on after 20 coupons per customer. UGH!! I usually do this on BF too. It's sooooo much easier to go in early, pick up the stuff from other stores and just price match it all. Less time, fewer stores, fewer crowds, yep definately a plus.
  9. I do but mostly for the kids and grandkids. If it weren't for BF, they wouldn't get half as much usually nor would they get as nice of presents. For instance, this year, my daughter will get a laptop that she has always wanted, but I could not justify spending the money on it. At just under $400, I can justify, so I'll be sure to be in line early at WM for that one.
  10. I do. Well, sort of. I'll go and buy some things then but I usually wait 3 or 4 days and still find gobs of good deals. It's even better when it goes 90%. (can't remember for sure but it's usually like a week after or so).
  11. I'd never have thought of that but I'd sure be upset if it happened.
  12. Oooh! That's great, I can definately use that. Thanks!!
  13. My 16 year old loves Kohl's. I'll have to tell her. Thanks for the heads up!!
  14. Well, let's see... I buy my kids presents from their grandmother, aunt and us. Plus I usually get stuff for the grandkids too and maybe a family member or two. Probably around 3000.00 between all the stuff for everyone. (My mom and sister each give me 600.00 for the three kids and 400.00 for the four grandkids). I get to spend a lot of money and have all the fun plus the kids and grandkids get things that they definately want. Works well.
  15. You mean we're supposed to get home before the stores close?? Really though, the last couple of years we went home and had cold turkey sandwiches then passed out.
  16. That would be so awesome! The grandkids would be in heaven. Hope it happens!
  17. Yep, love that one!! And, as a double bonus, I get away from the in-laws for a couple of hours *S*
  18. Hmmmm, lets see. West Wing season 2 forward Smallville Charmed Gilmore Girls Dukes of Hazzard I'm sure I'll find more but those off the top of my head. Oh, I was at Walmart earlier and noticed that most of the box sets I mentioned and a BUNCH of others were 18.88 on sale. Layaway, here I come on payday
  19. Wish I could say a gottadeal t-shirt, but they don't come in my size so I guess I'll go to WM and get some christmasy color sweats and a t-shirt or something to go with them. But I know I'll be wearing my coat over it anyway because it's already cold here.
  20. Both *S*. The kids that are still at home, I box their stuff. Family, daughter, grandkids that I won't see until they get their presents, I bag. It makes for a nice variety under the tree. And it saves oodles on cost for me because I bought 50.00 worth of bags two years ago (on clearance) after Christmas so I still have probably 200 or so bags. :greenappl
  21. I take my 16 year old daughter. She is 5'1" and weighs 100 lbs soaking wet. All legs and arms, so she can sneak in between people really easy. Anyway, I tell her "OOOOh we need that" and point, next thing I know she's beside me with it in her arms. It's great!!
  22. I always do get four or five by the end of the day. But I only buy one. MIL, 2- SIL and step-MIL all give me theirs by the end of the night because they would "rather die" than "waste" time with coupons *L* little do they know, most years they help pay for their own Christmas gift!!
  23. I love them. I can get things I want, after Christmas, at reduced prices. So I get twice as much as I would otherwise and it's always just right (size, color, etc.).
  24. Last year it was Radio Shack. I ended up waiting 6 hrs in line at Nebraska Furniture Mart though. That stunk.
  25. I do!! I'm always off on Fridays because I do flea markets and antique shows every weekend, BUT I don't have one scheduled (and I won't do one) for that weekend. *S* Gotta love BF!!
