  1. Thanks for the heads up! We don't get KMart flyers and I rarely go there. guess I will go this week though :)
  2. Jenni... I have a 2 month old and prefer Swaddlers when they are young, too. Target carries the same boxes Walmart does. This week the $19.99 boxes are buy 2 and get a $5 gift card. They also are carrying bonus boxes right now. Last week you bought 2 of those Jumbo boxes (jumbo boxes of Swaddlers size 2 diapers have 132 diapers in them, I THINK size 1 is actually the same count) and got a $10 gift card. so watch Target for the diaper deals, too. If you get the Sunday paper Proctor & Gamble put coupons in the paper every month. In June they put out coupons for Pampers, I THINK they won't put them out again until Aug but I could be very very wrong on this! You can use a manufacturer coupon AND a Target coupon at the same time. There is usually a Target coupon that you can print from the Internet (PM me if need more info on that) to combine with the Man. coupon. Target will clearance out those bonus boxes in a few weeks. I am anticipating they will clearance out in August, I could be wrong.
  3. CVS has B1G1Free on photo books through the end of the month. They also have photo processing deals for this summer for free extra prints. If they have a CVS nearby, they could get some great deals this month on getting new photos developed. :) You could just get them a gift card for CVS that way. My grandmother sent us a Costco gift card which we used for picture developing. Shutterfly has gift certificates, I don't know about any other site :)
  4. I saw that this morning and have been trying to figure out which 2 other people I could split the bill with lol! but then I decided we don't need any more games until Christmas.
  5. If you have kids, I'd say a definate yes. And pay the extra for the one that covers water damage, too.
  6. Actually we bought a Toshiba notebook w/only 1 GB of mem running on Vista. EVERYTHING ran fine for us until we were trying to do Office Documents. It was slow opening Office and saving files, switching between files, etc. Honestly other than that I think the 1GB was fine for our typical home usage... email, pictures, Internet. My brother bought us new memory for our Christmas gift from NewEgg (2GB runs about $25 on sale AR at Fry's and Newegg.com typically) and it fixed all the Office problems. so it's still a great deal at $399, and if you find it running a bit slow for what you want, go onto newegg.com and get more memory
  7. Garmin StreetPilot c580 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with MSN Direct List Price: $799.99 Price: $219.99 You Save: $580.00 (73%) http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-StreetPilot-3-5-Inch-Portable-Navigator/dp/B000MF7L50/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1213570877&sr=8-1 this is what I got my DH for our anniversary from amazon. It comes with 1 year free MSN Direct service. Ships free. I don't know what the difference between StreetPilots and Nuvis are, but Nuvis are also cheap on amazon right now.
  8. The best bundle deals I see are at Toys R Us, Costco or Sam's Club. Best game deals that I know of right now are at GameStop/EB Games, Costco (several DS games are down to $10.99 on sale right now), and Amazon.
  9. Albeebaby.com has some good prices on some convertible carseats. I've heard great things about this website. The Eddie Bauer car seats the list are rated up to 100 pounds. The cheapest color of that series was $99.99. The Fisher Price seat they sell is actually the same as a Britax but a different name. It doesn't go as high as the Britax ratings either but it's a very very good seat. And that one is on sale now, too. http://www.albeebaby.com/view-all-convertible-car-seats.html#top good luck!
  10. Best Buy has also been great on warrenty issues for me. Those are the 3 places I will buy appliances from now. Small local shops usually have great service and warrenties too but honestly I need the 0% financing deals. I think Costco and Sam's Club give you free hazard warranties w/ tire purchases, just in the future :)
  11. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a lot of the technology deals start in October. I THINK a lot of the new model TVs come out in September, so they wanting to sell the older TVs at cheaper rates. They even discount the TVs that came out in spring (the ones that are brand new right now). Honestly I'd wait at this point. I've been waiting to build a new computer for over a year now. The price has dropped less than half of what I was going to pay. A new computer is not a necessity so I'm willing to wait until I get the most for my money. Since you are buying technology too, I'd wait if I were you. I'd think about buying somewhere other than Sears because they don't always have great warrenty service. It's not just bad for appliances; the electronics warrenty isn't great, too. My mom called somone out for a TV repair and after 1 year the TV still wasn't fixed. I called Best Buy out to fix my TV and they had it fixed within a month (even having to order parts).
  12. I've had a similar experience. yes, I understand about pro-rating. Sam's and Costco also pro-rate their tires, as do most tire stores. Last time we bought from Sears we bought the extended warrenty, too. The tires were rated 60K tires. At the 10k mile mark, the tread is getting too thin. I paid $90 a tire or so. I know if I take the tires to Sears, I'll be prorated the difference. It's based on TREAD, though. So if the tread is wearing the tread down too much at 10K miles, I'll be prorated on what their rating is of the tread. And the tread should NOT be as bad as it is for such few miles on it. I am mad that my tires didn't last their entire length of service. I bought new tires elsewhere and they are lasting longer. Same car, same alignment, different store. Sears should be buying from the same distributer as other people, how come their tires don't last? I'm not even bothering taking my tires back to Sears. The only reason we went to Sears was they had financing deals at the time. But even that is not an incentive to go back next time.
  13. You probably bought one at this point but I feel the need to put my input in, too We bought a Whirlpool too. We have had a Kenmore Elite before and was quite pleased with it. BUT we had a lot of bad experiences with Sears so we buy appliances elsewhere now. We bought our Whirlpool Gold at Best Buy. They take off the delivery fee in the store; no mail in rebate required. They will haul away your old appliance, too. I like the 18 months 0%/0 payments finacing they offered. I liked getting reward zone $$ back, too. I think it was only $5 or $10, but it's enough to pay for part of a CD or game :) We needed a stainless steel one, too. We wanted a dishwasher that had a "top rack" or "glasses" cycle. (We use A LOT of cups in the summer, more than we should...) We wanted an adjustable top shelf so we could stick our bigger classes and mixing bowls on top. We wanted a TALL TUB dishwasher. VERY important to us. We replaced a perfectly good working dishwasher in this house but it just couldn't fit the pyrex bowls I used for mixing on the bottom and wash the cups on top. It had to have a minimum of Quiet Partner III rating. It had to be Energy Star rated. (most of them are now anyways) I like the delay cycle, too. I mostly use it when I need to do the wash at the same time LOL. My mom liked my dishwasher so much that she went to the store and ending up buying the same model. The biggest complaint we both have is the silverware basket is WAY too small. It's nice to be able to choose to put it on the door instead of in the bottom row, but it needs to hold another 15 forks/spoons to be match the amount of plates and cups this one holds. Other features I wish I had would be a hard food dispenser, power scouring features, and stainless steel interior. Bosch are suppose to be the best, if you can afford them. Top of the line Kenmores are really good, too.
  14. I think it depends how fast you want the pictures. I've ordered them online at walgreens.com and you can pick them up in an hour. They have a coupon now if you order 50 or more prints they are 15 cents a piece. you can order them at costco.com but it is cheaper to buy them instore than online. if you don't need them right away online is cheaper usually :)
  15. Knowing Walmart, this will be back and forth being in and out of stock online. This deal was also suppose to be available in store, if you didn't catch it online. :) I think they are also running Blu Ray movie specials in store, too. I bet that will be online, too. These are all Father's Day Specials. Should I be offended they didn't think they should run this for Mother's Day Specials?
  16. BPA stands for Bisphenol A, which is a chemical found in many hard plastics (baby bottles, water bottles, Tupperware). At high doses, it has been found to mimic estrogen in animals. This can cause early puberty and other unnatural hormanal changes. Scientists are arguing what is the minimum dose that humans should be exposed to in order to avoid these changes. They are most concerned with developing fetuses in pregnant women and also infants drinking from bottles. Since these are the periods of the highest and most rapid development in people, one must be careful what babies are exposed to during this time. Babies are also more fragile and affected by environmental changes than older humans. Canada has banned all BPA in baby bottles. Stores are weaning out the bottle lines that have BPA. BPA is still found in most plastic refillable water bottles you can buy (Naglene type in the sporting goods section). On the bottom of all plastic items there is a recycling symbol with a number inside. Type number 7 and 3 contain BPA. Here's a more detailed link from wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bisphenol_A
  17. Newegg has it for $124.99 (after $30 MIR) + $5.99 S/H. I'd rather buy it from newegg since I trust that website.... I'm actually on there tonight buying my first things from them... they have a lot of MIR that expire tomorrow.
  18. do you have any gmestops/ EB games in your area? They have had them near me even though eveyone else sold out. I got mine at Costco for $80. I had issues paying $90 for it LOL
  19. correct link is in the thread from the $5/20 week :)
  20. And they have a photo printing special right now too!! 15 cent prints when you order 50 or more. Use coupon code " PRINTS15 " when you check out. Choose the option to pay cash when you pickup and you can combine it with the coupon on Friday :)
  21. LOL yes, I have a printer colony invading my house and garage for the same reason!!! I didn't know about starter cartridges. I bought one of those refill kits last time. Next time I'm just to Walgreens and having them fill it. :)
