  1. OK, thank you. I will have to go back tomorrow or Thursday to see any of ours are marked down yet.
  2. Can you tell me what type of Color Wonder sets you found for 75% off? I went to our Target today, and nothing was marked down. I took packs of Princess, Tinkerbell and Cars Color Wonder sets to the scanner, but they all came up $6.99. I would love to find these for party favors for my DD3's upcoming birthday. Thanks!
  3. OMG! This is awesome! My girls and I love Color Wonder. It seems to occupy them for hours. I will have to check out our store tonight. I hope we have the same markdowns!
  4. Awesome deals! I wish my Kmart was closer. I can't make it out because my DD6 is home sick with a fever.
  5. There was a big article in our paper today about this. If you do have a Sharper Image gift card, you can take it to Brookstone and get 25% off your purchase, regardless of the amount of the gift card. Sharper Image did say that they would be taking the gift cards eventually, but they did not say when. I would not even count on that because gift card holders are classified as unsecured creditors, which basically adds to their debt. This is very scary to those of us who buy gift cards. For those of you who want more details, here is the local article: http://www.sacbee.com/840/story/757174.html
  6. I used to work for Verizon and we always had a problem with customers not getting their packages, even when they showed it was delivered. As soon as the customer called us, we would ship out another phone. You should call Rock Auto and see what they say. They are the ones who have the contract with FedEx, so ultimately, it is up to Rock Auto to ensure that you get the items you ordered.
  7. I had no idea they were closing. I just signed up for a membership a few weeks ago because they would not rent movies to me under my husband's name. Go figure! They told me I would get 50% off all rentals for the first month. So I have been going there a lot. I guess I will need to ask them if this store is closing. They are so much cheaper than Blockbuster, so I would be pretty bummed if they did close.
  8. I went back last night and bought more of the sheet sets for my mom. The 600 tc ones and the Organic ones are really nice. The selection was pretty picked over, so it was hard to find matching pillowcases. The sheets were on endcaps, but also, some Fieldcrest and Isaac Mizrahi ones were mixed in with the regular sheets in the aisles. Also saw placemats and throw pillows on sale, 50% off, I think. Congrats to those finding the GB deals! I saw the console table, and it was really beautiful. You all scored good deals! :)
  9. Just got back from Target. Thanks to everyone who posted the deals on the Disney Princess party goods. I got dinner paper plates, dessert paper plates, napkins and goody bags, all for a little over $1 each. I think they were 30% off. Also found some great sheets at 75% off. I bought a set of Queen Fieldcrest 300 tc sheets for $12.48. Then found 600 tc sheets, so I bought a set of those. They were packaged separately, so the Queen Fitted was $5.98, the Flat was $5.98, and a set of 2 standard pillowcases were $5.98. I also saw but did not buy the following: 2 Disney Pirncess toy organizers $9.98 2 boys toy organizers $14.98 Hello Kitty Full sheet set $6.48 Tons of sheets and towels marked 75% off. There were a few comforter sets, but I did not need any. I couldn't find any of the Kelly dolls or Junie B. Jones book sets. Maybe next time! Thanks again for posting all your great finds! :)
  10. Valentines items are 75% off. Not much candy left, but lots of stuffed animals, stickers, pencils, boxed chocolates. Our Walgreens always has stuff marked down. I go at least twice a week to see what they have. Last time I found several carts of clearance items at the front of the store. There were kid sunglasses for $0.39, Disney Princess watches for $1.99, Peanuts coloring books for $0.25. I love Walgreens!
  11. We got Pfaltzgraff flatware for our wedding 12 years ago, and they are great. I think each set of 4 was $70. They are heavy and we get a lot of compliments on them. I'm not sure of the pattern, but you can find them at Bed, Bath & Beyond and Macys, I think. Also, if you live near a Corningware outlet, they have tons of flatware. Our store is going out of business, so the sets are really marked down.
  12. I'm not sure of the size you are looking for. My brother found a coffee table size leather ottoman at Costco a few years ago. Not sure of the price, though. I have also seen ottomans randomly at Ross and Marshalls.
  13. My father-in-law replaced all his mattresses with the Tempurpedic ones. He loves them. But when I visited, I found them very uncomfortable. I did not feel like I was getting any support. I think I finally laid down a comforter over it, and then I was able to sleep.
  14. Stopped by the outlet store today. Tons of sweaters for $8 and pants for $5, after the additional 50% off. Nice coats for $15, but only in sizes 14 to 20. I actually didn't buy anything because my DD6 hasn't really discovered fashion, so I got better deals at the Children's Place outlet today for her. But if your DD is a Limited Too shopper, you should definitely go.
  15. Awesome deal on the bedding set! I never had anything that nice when I was a kid!
  16. I went to the Paper Outlet today and found some great deals. They are the same as Party America, but usually a bit cheaper. Valentine's items were 75% off. So I had my DD3 pick out party favors for her next birthday. I figured that whatever theme she goes with, the Valentine's stuff can be ok for the goody bags. We bought: Set of 12 notepads $0.50 Set of 8 heart maze puzzles $0.50 Set of 24 tattoos $0.50 Tiny stampers in a round case $0.25 Small Stuffed animals (frogs, dogs, bears) $0.25 A little larger sized stuffed animals $0.50 I was pretty happy to get all this stuff, since all those little things for goody bags seems to add up pretty quickly.
  17. The CP Outlet had marked down lots of clothes for $3.99 and under. I had been eyeing a purple embroidered cardigan, but last time I saw it, it was on sale for $9.99. Today they had it for $3.99. Here is what I got: Purple embroidered cardigan $3.99 Pink embroidered cardigan $3.99 Purple embroidered sweater skirt $3.99 Pink embroidered sweater skirt $3.99 Yoga-type knit pants ("foldover leggings") in pink, black and blue $1.99 Creme long-sleeved shirts with sparkly stars $3.99 Velour tiered skirt (this one is really cute) $3.99 Toddlers velour knit top in blue $0.99 Packaged leggings -- one was a waffle knit with purple/pink, the other was red and pink with hearts $0.99 each Pink stockings $0.99 Girls black sparkly shoes $3.99 Girls jeans $3.99 Pink camoflage corduroys $0.99 Boys fleece sweatshirts $1.99 I used the 20% off coupon and spent around $68. Then I went back and picked up 2 more sets of the purple and pink embroidered cardigans and skirts for some gifts. They also had boys cargo pants $3.99, boys puffer jackets $7.99, and lots of belts for boys and girls for $0.99.
  18. Thank you so much! I love this coupon. I am heading to the outlet today to see if ours has anything for 0.99 and 1.99. And yes, you can use the coupon in store. It works out great! I print multiple copies and use the same ones on different days.
  19. Walmart and Kohls also carry decent leotards for a good price. Walmart carries the Danskin line.
  20. Does anyone have a current 20% off coupon that I can use in the store? The last one I had expired on Feb. 10. I have found ones for 15% off, but not 20% off. Thanks.
  21. Awesome deal on the coat! I really want to get a coat for my DD6 for next winter. I will try to stop by tomorrow.
  22. I found Walgreens and grocery store after-holiday candy prices to be pretty high. So I would check Target and Walmart first for the best prices. I do remember Walgreens had a lot of cute pencils, notepads, etc. that would be nice fillers for gooddy bags. I might check there for any bargains in a few days.
  23. I haven't seen the wrapping paper, but I was in Kohls a week ago, and they had the HSM nailpolish and lipstick sets for $1.60. Each set had 5 pieces, and came in a plastic case with a long cord attached to it. Regularly $6 or $8. These would make nice party favors. I am planning on breaking up the sets and putting one lipstick and nailpolish in each girl's goody bags for my daughter's birthday party. Another idea is, depending on the size and number of gifts you have, is to buy HSM posters and wrap the gifts in those. I am pretty sure Walmart carries them.
  24. I saw several sets on clearance at Target on Thursday. I'm not sure of the price, but I am pretty sure they were under $50. Ross and Marshalls always carries a lot of sets. You might just luck out at one of those stores.
