  1. My mom gave me an article on these supplements and I was wondering if anyone here found them helpful? I have back and leg problems and am in constant need of help with the pain.
  2. I went to Target Sunday night and got a great deal on girls' pajamas. They are the Circo brand, and were on a rack that said 30% off. They were a set of 2 shirts and one pair of pants. They were marked $9.08, but they had some Christmas pictures on them. One set was white and red with snowmen, and the other was blue and green with frogs. I also found some Nick and Nora pajamas marked at $14.99. These were blue with gingerbread men and candy canes. In the same section, mixed in with regular socks were Nick and Nora socks with little pom-pom type snowmen on them. These rang up at $0.39, which was 90% off of $3.99. So, I took all of it to the cashier and said that the pajamas were Christmas, so shouldn't they be 90% off. He was a bit confused, but then said, "If they are Christmas, I can give them to you for 90% off." So, he took 90% off the clearanc price, making them $0.91 for the Circo ones, and $1.49 for the Nick and Nora ones! I was very excited! I almost went back and bought more, but I didn't have anyone to give them to.
  3. Fashionbug.com has the 1.0 ounce spray bottle for $29.99. Use code 776200206 to get 20% off your order, expires 01/23/2008. The Target set is $24.99 and includes a 0.5 ounce spray and a 1.7 ounce body lotion. Target also has the 0.5 ounce spray on sale for $18.99.
  4. A lot of stores like Kohls and Mervyns will have outerwear at 50% off from now until Christmas. I am pretty sure that JC Penneys and Macy's will have all coats at 50% off right after Christmas, possibly the day after. If you can hold off till then, you will probably get the best deal.
  5. Try using MVC1563 for free shipping with a Kohls charge card. Expires 11/30. Or try MVC5536 for free shipping. Expiration unknown. Not sure if you need to use a Kohls charge card.
  6. Walgreens had the same deal last year, and when I went, they did not have any of the TY Beanie Babies in stock. The cashier let me buy some different TY beanie babies for the sale price, so that was a good deal.
  7. Nowadays I buy most of my children's books second-hand. I used to find a lot at garage sales for 25 or 50 cents. But since I don't get out often, I check out the local children's consignment store. My best deals are at Goodwill. We have a brand new store in our town, and it looks like a regular department store. Most kids books are 50 cents or $1. Many are in excellent condition, and some are even new. The way my kids go through books, I find it economical to get 8 books for $4, and not have to worry if they get bored with them after a few weeks.
  8. My daughter got a doll stroller from Santa last year when she was 2 1/2 that she loves. I got her the matching carseat and bassinet (all from Toys R Us). She loves them. She also loves books, and coloring books. She likes painting, so a paint set would be nice. (We use watercolor paints on her ugly coloring book pages that she normally wouldn't touch). She also likes the game Hi Ho Cherry-O. If you are redecorating her room, a kid jewelry box would be nice. My girls have them (one if flowers, and the other is princess), and they love putting their necklaces and treasures in them. Kohls and JC Penney's usually carry really cute ones.
  9. Burlington Coat Factory has some toddler beds for $79.99 that look pretty nice.
  10. I got one a few days ago for $10 off $10 using a Mastercard. I don't have a JC Penney's card, so I don't know why I get these. I think they just send them out randomly. I'm going to try to go tomorrow with my kids. That should be fun since they really don't like me going through racks of clearance clothes! : )
  11. I found the Dora toddler pillowcase and fitted sheet set for $3.74. There were several sets left. These were on an endcap near towels, not by the children's bedding. Dollar Spot had a lot of Cars stuff, Hello Kitty and some Disney Princess items out...would be good for anyone having a birthday party.
  12. Yes, I believe you register on their website and include your children's birthdays, so that is when they email the coupons to you.
  13. I used the coupon yesterday with no problem. They had just marked down all girls prairie skirts to 0.99, so I loaded up on those. This was at the outlet. Thanks again for the coupon!
  14. Thank you! I am heading there this week.
  15. I saw some real Lincoln Logs at Marshalls for $14.99 I think. It said the regular price was $20. It was a big canister full. The Walgreens brand is in the flyer this week. They are really good about returns where I live, so if they don't work well, you may be able to return them.
  16. My friend got a really nice play kitchen off of craigslist. She paid $80, and the seller threw in all the food and pots and pans. Also, I have seen Sam's Club and Costco have play kitchens as it gets closer to Christmas.
  17. I went to the Children's Place Outlet yesterday and saw that a bunch of boys' clothes were marked down to $2.99. They were $4.99 on Monday. They had t-shirts, polo shirts and pajamas. The pajamas were going fast, but there were still a lot of shirts left. There was one rack of $0.99 t-shirts, mostly up to size 24 months. The girls' section still had lots at $2.99, mostly short-sleeved shirts, skirts, tank tops and capris. Belts were $0.99. They also had cute Halloween costumes at 50% off, but I can't remember how much they were. The store is stocking new holiday merchandise, but that is all at regular prices.
  18. We bought our crib used out of an ad. We paid $150. We just sold it on Craigslist for $60. So you may want to check out Craigslist. We bought a small dresser and toy chest from Ikea. These are great quality, and are made of real wood and not particle board. They were a really good price. It's the LEKSVIK line. The chest of 4 drawers if $129 (found under the regular bedroom section) and the toy box is $69.99.
  19. I remember Linens N Things having one last year, so you may want to check there. Party America carries them with some kind of bats flying around (they look like shredded pieces of newspaper), but I am not sure if they are scary. I think I saw something like this at Sam's Club this year.
  20. If you don't mind searching, Ross has a lot of jeans out right now, probably under $20. I have good luck at JC Penney's as far as the styles go -- I usually spend about $20 or $30 there.
  21. Linens N Things has a set of Everday Basics 12 flute glasses for $9.99. They are 6 ounces each. You can use a 20% off coupon, and then they would only be $8. Target has a set of 12 Charisma champagne flutes for $24.99. They also have a set of 12 Banded champagne flute glasses for $19.99. These have a gold band at the rim. Ikea has a set of 6 SVALKA champagne flutes for $4.99. Only available in store. I have also seen cheap sets at Ross and Marshalls. Good luck!
  22. Target often has free shipping on furniture purchases. I signed up for their emails, and these offers seem to come all the time. Another option is to buy a cheaper cart in white or natural and paint it red. Then you would have more options as far as style goes.
  23. Thanks for the tip! I am in Sacramento. I went today and found a few women's tops for $3.97 and denim capris for $6.97. I also found a cute black skirt for $3.97. Our men's department was still not marked down very much, with polo shirts at $7.97 and $11.97. Infant girl's knit shorts were just marked down to $1.97, but bigger girl's shorts were still around $6. I can't believe they haven't marked these down anymore. The shorts have been sitting there for months! And the weather is too cold to wear any shorts now. Anyways, I am happy that I found some things for me, although I was supposed to be doing Christmas shopping! : )
  24. I found some of their stuff at Marshalls a year or two ago, and it was about half the retail price. A lot of companies seem to have copied their product line, but I am not sure how the copies compare to the originals.
  25. Thanks for the tip on the sale! I went to the CP outlet today and also found lots of girls clothing for $2.99 -- jeans, prairie skirts, mostly short sleeved shirts, but also a few long sleeved shirts. Girls' belts and baseballs caps were $0.99. I was hoping to find some shoes, but they were mostly gone. The boys section was only marked down to $4.99, and not much was at that price. I used the 20% off coupon and saved a lot. Thanks for posting the coupon!
