  1. Final Clearance (green tags) started today. Ends Saturday. Lots of items are 75% off original prices. I only bought 3 long-sleeved tops for DD6 for $2.97 each (after the 15% coupon from the survey, they came out to $2.52 each). They also had: Womens leather boots $19.97 Womens leather coats $$29.97 to $39.97 Womens belts $1.97 Womens/Juniors small purses $4.97 Womens/Juniors dresses $9.97 Lots of womens sleepwear separates $4.97 Lots of mens flannel pajama type pants $2.97 Be careful when they ring up items. All of my shirts came up the wrong price, but the cashier corrected them all. Also, 2 pack liters of shampoos and conditioners (Paul Mitchell, Biolage) are 50% off on Saturday. So, you end up paying $14 to $16 for both bottles. I had DD3 with me and she did not want to shop, so I did not end up buying much.
  2. I have seen these at Ross, and I may have seen them at Marshalls.
  3. I went by the CP Outlet yesterday. The sale was still the same, with an extra 50% off clearance prices. They had brought in a bunch of spring clothes, so I am hoping that the winter clothes will be marked down more.
  4. I agree. There are a lot of flakes out there. Years ago, when we had a washer and dryer on sale, a girl and her dad came by and said they would buy it. They did not put any money down, but I believed them. My husband said that we don't need to hold it for them. I felt like I was betraying them, but guess what? They never came back! So, since we didn't hold it, we ended up selling them to the next person who came by. You should line up the other buyers, and tell the first one that you have other people interested. If she really wants it, she will find a way to get over to your place and buy it.
  5. Yes, the Britax are definitely worth it! I say spend the extra money cuz your kids are priceless. This is one area I don't mind spending extra on for the kids.
  6. Sorry for the late post. I went to Target on Friday and today. I found: Toddler size Dora helmet and knee pad set 75% off -- $4.98 Callaway set of golf balls 75% off -- around $6.48 Hello Kitty sheet sets & comforter sets- looked like 30% off -- they also had other clearance sheet sets for kids, but I can't remember which ones. Looks like they are bringing in some new lines of bedding. Not much clearance going on at my store. Most of the 75% off clothes are gone.
  7. I'm so jealous! I loved shopping at Deb when I lived in Connecticut. FYI....JC Penney's was having some nice dresses on clearance that might work out well for Prom dresses.
  8. My DD4 is also having a Hello Kitty party in April, so I would also appreciate any tips on good deals. I found 2 Hello Kitty lip gloss sets clearanced for $1.96. I didn't buy them because they seemed a little pricey for goody bag fillers. But it might make a nice little gift for your daughter.
  9. This coupon expires on Feb. 10th. Odd date, since the past coupons expired on the last day of the month. http://www.childrensplace.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/EmailJump?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&jumpId=20Percentv1
  10. Our store had the clearanced armoires on an endcap by the sheets and bedding.
  11. Target goes to 90% off, but mostly by then they just have lots of boxed Valentine cards left. I stocked up a few years ago. The boxes came to 0.12.
  12. Went to Kohls today. Lots of juniors tops marked down 80% and 90%. I got: one Juniors Union Bay top 90% off for $2.49 Derek Heart sundress 80% off $7.70 Apt. 9 sleeveless dress $8.80 sunglasses for $2.40 to $5.20. they rang up as Men's, but I am going to wear them. Heavy men's sweatshirts (Croft & Barrow brand) were marked down to $10.20 Mens long-sleeve sueded tees and henleys $6 They still had lots of toddler boys and girls long-sleeve shirts for $2.00 and $3.00. Toddler boys sweatpants for $3.00. Toddler girls knit pants for $2.00 or $3.00. Some Yankee Candle jars marked down to $12 I think. Soccer memo board $2 Women's coats still seemed pricey at 60% off. I was only going to buy one if I got a great deal on one.
  13. OMG! Thank you for this awesome tip! So do you think I should go back on Sunday or Monday? I don't want to miss out on any great deals. In the summer, I got lots of t-shirts and shorts for 0.99.
  14. Don't apologize. We've all been there. I'm sorry you had to deal with a rude manager. That can certainly ruin an otherwise uplifting shopping experience. There are a few stores and restaurants I have been to where the cashiers & waiters have been so rude. I'm afraid to go back cuz they always recognize me. Like I'm causing trouble for shopping at their stores!
  15. Went to Target to return a bunch of stuff, and of course found some good deals: Tinkerbell lip gloss sets 75% off $0.96 Toddler Boys t-shirts $1.24 I bought a table runner for my mom. It was only 30% off ($10.38), but there weren't that many left, so I'd better just buy it now. I also saw: Colgate Cavity Prevention Toothpaste - 3 pack - $2.50 Girls hats & gloves 75% off Baby crib bedding -- sports theme -- 75% off Amy Coe really cute mobile 75 % off $6.48 Toddler Boys plaid button-up shirts $1.74 Pampers Splashers swim pants 50% off I think $2.48 or $2.98 Girls soccer cleats 75% off (located in sporting goods) $4.98 Large pack of 12 x 12 scrapbooking paper 50% off $4.98 Baby Phat perfumes 50% off $12.48 I was really there to return stuff, but I ended up spending half of what I returned. How does that always happen to me?
  16. Thanks! I am heading there tomorrow to see if their winter coats have been marked down anymore.
  17. Thanks for the picture. That is a cute coat. I went to the CP Outlet today, and they were also having the extra 50% off clearance prices. They didn't have the coats you found, though. I found the girls microfleece pants for $3.99 and $4.49, as well as girls long-sleeve shirts for $2.99 and $3.49 (all after the 50% off). I am trying to stock up for next year, so these prices were great. The shirts were really cute. I am going to check back in a few weeks to see if the prices drop even more. Don't forget to use the 20% off coupon!
  18. Kohls has leotards which often go on sale for around $10. Walmart carries the Danskin line. I am not sure if they carry the small size you need. I am pretty sure Target carries the XXS size or at least XS.
  19. Our newspaper The Sacramento Bee has a columnist who helps people find substitues for their favorite products, or helps people find products. You may have luck emailing her. I don't know if she can answer a personal letter since you are not in Sacramento, but it may be worth a try. Her name is Leigh Grogan, and you can email her at [email protected]. Here is a sample of her letters and answers: http://www.sacbee.com/107/story/653540.html Good Luck!
  20. Thank you! I will be heading there tomorrow. Can you post a picture of the coat you bought?
  21. Rain? HA! I am so tired of the rain. I almost blew away trying to get gas in my car.
  22. You are welcome! I love this site. I use it a lot. You might also like www.naughtycodes.com for codes for online shopping.
  23. Babies R Us has a quilted mattress cover for $9.99. It got a good review. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2837607#prod_prodinfo They also carry a Carter's one for $12.99. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2619863#prod_prodinfo I found a vinyl zippered one at Meijer for $5.49: http://www.meijer.com/catalog/product.jsp?categoryId=244&parentCategoryId=100&productId=21105&subCategoryId=757 OK, one more: http://www.babybestbuy.com/vinyl-mattress-cover.asp I found the last 2 by doing a search on www.thefind.com. 24. I'm not sure where you are located, but there are Corningware outlets all over the country. You may have luck there. If you are close to one, you can call them and see if they have the pattern you are looking for. Here is the link to the outlet locations: http://www.mallseeker.com/corningwarecorellereverefactorystore.aspx
